The Akadema M643 maple wood bat is made from Rock Maple and features Akademas Tacktion Grip. Akadema, the manufacturer accelerating the evolution of baseball equipment, has found a use for all those sunflower shells littering dugouts throughout baseball. The Tacktion Grip incorporates a proprietary mixture of ground sunflower shells, walnut shells and sand affixed to the handle of the bat to provide extra grip. This slurry mixture is painstakenly applied onto the handle of each bat to provide a pretreated grip. No more messy pine tar, no more tape, the Akadema Tacktion Grip is ready for immediate use. The M643 Elite Maple Wood bat features and X-Large barrel and a 7/8 inch handle. It also has a cupped end and a 1 7/8 inch knob. Free Shipping!
