New for 2010! Louisville Slugger is raising the standards once again. The EXOGRID concept is simple, increases the handle stiffness and strength without increasing the weight. The last thing you want at the moment of contact is for your bat handle to flex. When the handle flexes, the barrel can’t. That reduces you trampoline effect. A stiff handle produces more barrel flex, resulting in maximum trampoline effect and, ultimately, greater performance. The one piece construction design has metal that is trimmed from the handle in a grid pattern to reduce the overall handle weight. The metal is replaced with carbon inserts that are several times stronger and lighter than the metal it replaces. For optimum stiffness we then insert an internal carbon composite sleeve with unidirectional fibers that run the length of the handle. This step provides greater handle stiffness than aluminum alone ever could. Finally, the exclusive Bi/Fusion Process begins by using a combination of heat and extreme pressure, the inserts, sleeve and metal wall are bonded together to work as a single, solid unit. Pros: this bat is just the best bat ever made!! i hit 4 home runs in one game with this bat. this bat does not chip very easily. its very light and easy to get through the zone when your down in the count.

Pros: I play pony 13u. and i use this bat and it has amazing pop. I had the cf3 and hit homeruns, but with this bat i already have twice as much homeruns. 3 with the cf3, and 6 with the exo. 2 of them on 310ft. its an awesome bat.

Pros: ok, not a cheap hybrid bat, if u pay $370 get an all composite bat for $30 more. Decent pop, pretty good distance.
Cons: way over priced for a hybrid bat, paying for the name and so called reliability. A better hybrid bat would be a voodoo.

Pros: i borrowed this bat at strike zone(baseball academy) just to test it out and get a feel for a 32 29 bat. and just wow. its the best bat ive ever used. loads of pop. great sound too. also very balanced and easy to swing.
Cons: paint comes off but there is a black layer under so it doesnt look as bad. but that doesnt matter
