Pros: I am "Royalty" in my league, The outfielders bag up, and the fans wait in anticipation. With out question this is the most powereful bat I have ever owned. Fresh out the wrapper bombs. The end loaded feature is definitely felt when you swing the bat. First AB of the season, HR. Everyone goes to composite, smh, you composite fans have no clue. If you are not using aluminum then you are missing out on homeruns. If you are a power hitter..........Anderson Nanotek Omega is exactly what you want. I swing a 30 .oz, that is only advised for the big boys. This bat swing heavy. If you buy anything other than this bat you just wasted your money. Pay smart and play big. Cons:-0-

Pros: LOVE the new endloaded feel. The original NanoTek swung too balanced for my taste. The new composite handle is stiff, not flexy. Tons of pop for a metal bat... can't believe it's a singlewall. Cons:None!

On ebay this bat is listed as composite. Is the barrel 100% Alloy or is there any composite in it? Is the handle only composite?

The NanoTek SP Omega has a full alloy barrel and a composite handle.

I play in a coed league. We can't use 100% composite bats that are double walled. I see that this is a single wall and considered a hybrid. Believe we can have composite handle. Is that what hybrid is referring to? Just want to make sure I can use this bat if i buy it.

The hybrid design in the 2012 Anderson NanoTek SP Omega refers to an alloy barrel and composite handle.

whats the difference between the omega and alpha?

The NANOSPO is going to have an end loaded weight distribution. The NANOSPA is going to have the weight distributed evenly throughout the bat.

Product Description

New for 2012! After years of producing the highest performing all-metal bats on the market, Anderson is doing things differently this season. The NanoTek design has been revamped and made into a two-piece alloy/composite hybrid. Don't worry though, many of the same technologies remain and many more have been added to make this NanoTek the best yet! The thing that really sets the NanoTek apart is Anderson's LaunchPad which gives this bat the largest, most explosive, effective hitting area of any bat in the game. LaunchPad is an integral blend of complex nano-metallic and aluminum alloys that are molecularly bonded to create a barrel structure that results in a single metal wall. The patented LaunchPad combination delivers more strength and pop than any solo material or combination ever tried. By elastically strengthening the hitting area, the LaunchPad gives players the most reactive barrel in the game... with no break-in period required. Every feature of the NanoTek is designed to provide the hitter with the ultimate in performance. From the TrueFlex End Cap and TaperFlex Contour that aid in vibration management, to the Ergonomic Weldless knob that provides phenomenal comfort, the NanoTek will exceed your wildest expectations about what an Anderson bat can do for your game. Anderson: Manufactured With Pride in the USA! The NanoTek is approved for play in ASA, USSSA, NSA, ISA, and ISF. It is backed by a Full Twelve (12) Month Manufacturer's Warranty. Free Shipping!
