Questions and Answers
Got a question about the 2012 Anderson TechZilla XP: KTXP Youth? Ask our team of experts, and they will respond within 24 hours.
Ask A QuestionIs this better in the cold weather than a full composite bat?
It is really recommended not to use any bat in temperatures around 50 degress or colder. However, alloy bats do tend to stand up a little better than composite bats do in colder temperatures.
Can a Techzilla be used in a batting cage without being damaged?
If your batting cage uses real baseballs, and not those yellow dimpled balls, then yes, it will be okay to use the Techzilla in the cages. Just make sure you're using real baseballs, as you would use in a game.
Is this a composite barrel?
The 2012 Anderson TechZilla XP: KTXP Youth is not composite rather a full alloy design featuring a multi-wall barrel!
Product Description
New for 2012! The new Anderson TechZilla was created to help make the average ballplayer into great hitter! With this bat, Anderson has created a way for the average hitter to swing faster without sacrificing control. This starts with the one-piece all-metal alloy frame that has a balanced swing weight to help players swing evenly and in control. However, it's the multi-wall construction that makes this bat unique. Anderson abandons conventional thinking when it comes to the multi-wall by introducing Internal PowerArch Technology to the TechZilla. This technology incorporates an arched interior sleeve design to generate maximum legal performance and an optimized moment of inertia (MOI). An lower MOI allows players to swing faster, which results in more power behind every swing! The TechZilla also features a TaperFlex Contour and TrueFlex End Cap that both aid in vibration reduction. Both of these integral parts also strengthen the barrel and keep energy locked in. Holding it all together, Anderson's Grooved Assembly System locks and fortifies the shell, sleeve, and end cap, providing increased barrel elasticity and superior durability. With an ultra-thin whip handle, SG-I Sport Grip, and weldless ergonomic knob, the TechZilla feels better in your hands than any bat ever has. Anderson: Manufactured With Pride in the U.S.A.! The TechZilla is approved for play in Little League, Babe Ruth, Dixie, Pony, AABC, and USSSA. It is backed by a Full Twelve (12) Month Manufacturer's Warranty. Free Shipping!
