Ask A QuestionA lot of people have been saying it cracks easily in the reviews, and they say there kids are in 10U and below. My daughter plays 14U and the ball is coming fast. I'm worried that it will crack within the first week. Does the warranty cover this? And how long will it take to get the replacement bat if it does crack?
The 2012 DeMarini CF5 comes with a one year manufacturer's warranty. Every manufacture is different on their turn around time for warranty replacements.
Debating between this bat and the Easton FP11SY10. Looking for range with my hits..which do you recommend between the two?
Both the DXCFS and FP11SY10 are great bats. The FP11SY10 has a -10 length to weight ratio and is a one-piece bat. The DXCFS has a -11 length to weight ratio and is a two-piece bat. If you are a stronger hitter I would recommend the FP11SY10 as it has a lesser length to weight ratio and is a one-piece bat. If you are a player who hits for contact without as much power, I would recommend the DXCFS due to it's greater length to weight ratio and two-piece design which will offer more flex.
Is this bat going to be legal next year for MHSAA?
Yes. As far as we know here, the DXCFS will still be legal next year. We can't predict any future restrictions or bans, but the DXCFS should be good to go
