2012 DeMarini Vexxum: DXVNL Youth review by HOMERUNKING
Pros: This is a great bat. Excellent grip, paint job, and much more. I love the pop on it. I've only had this bat for a couple of days and used it in BP and it was amazing! This is thee perfect bat for a kid. Based on the height, the weight will fit perfectly and you will see and improved swing and balance in yourself/ your son. Cons:None. I highly recommend this bat for its grip, pop, balance, and sound.

Pros: When I first saw this bat it was inside a video game, no joke. When I saw it I knew it would be great. My instincts were great. This bat I think has about the same power as an Omen. I highly recommend it. Cons:

I'm trying to decide betweem the 2012 DeMarini Vexxum and the 2012 DeMaini Vendetta. Any recommendations?

Both are two piece ts with a composite handle and alloy barrel. The 2012 DeMarini Vexxum will be more end loaded than the 2012 DeMarini Vendetta. The 2012 DeMarini Vexxum will be better for a power hitter.

I am trying to decide between the DeMarini Vexxum: DXVNL Youth or the Easton Convert XL:LT460 Youth. My son is 9 years old, 88lbs. and 4'11". He is a strong kid. From the charts it looks like a 30' bat is the recommendation. He probably is more of a power hitter and generally makes good contact with the ball. Which bat would you recommend? Thanks.

Both are great bats, but I would give an advantage to the Vexxum in terms of overall performance. Both are well suited for contact and power hitters alike, but I feel he'll get more pop with the Vexxum in his hands.

Product Description

New for 2012! After a brief hiatus, the Vexxum returns to youth baseball! The performance of the two-piece hybrid Vexxum is truly a force to be reckoned with. The SC4 Alloy barrel of the Vexxum is constructed using Demarini's proprietary aluminum extrusion that provides a thickness tuned wall that reaches down the entire length of the barrel. This creates a wicked sweetspot that can withstand every single crushing blow you put on it! The handle is made from C6 Composite that is designed with a wider weave than most composites in order to optimize swing flex. This handle works as a powerful one, two punch with the SC4 Alloy barrel, creating one of the highest performing small barrel youth bats on the market! The Vexxum features an N2M End Cap that is scientifically tuned to absorb vibration while maximizing power. For the player, this means more explosive hits! The Vexxum features a Hybrid Comfort Grip that gives players the tack they need to be in control and confident at the plate. DeMarini: Insane Dedication to Performance! This bat is approved for play in Little League, Babe Ruth, Dixie, Pony, AABC, and USSSA. The Vexxum is backed by a Full Twelve (12) Month Manufacturer's Warranty. Free Shipping!

About DeMarini

DeMarini In 1992, DeMarini Sports had something to celebrate. The three-year-old company had climbed a rung on the proverbial ladder of success, moving its world headquarters from a dirt-floored barn to a slightly larger metal shack. "It was a big move for us," recalled Ray DeMarini from the batting cage of DeMarini Sport’s present-day Bat Industrial Complex. "The new shop was larger, more storm resistant, and -best of all- it had a heater." In the early days, DeMarini Sports hardly made a blip on the radar screen of softball. With no retailers and virtually no advertising budget, DeMarini grew s.... read more
