Pros: The bat overall is great. I have used the TPX Omaha and the TPX ExoGrid 2. Neither of the bbcors compare to this one. This bat is very balanced, and it has amazing pop for a bbcor. The 2 piece technology was great for me, because I am a line drive hitter, but if you are more of a power hitter, I would recommend a 1 piece bat. Cons:nothing really

Pros: I love this bat! There's a lot of pros such as, the graphics are amazing and has really great pop for a bbcor. Cons:There's only one and that is the bat is a little top heavy but if your a great power hitter it will come in handy. Over all this is a awsome bat!

Are these bats used or still in the plastic wrap?

All bats are brand new unless marked as a "demo" bat. If it is not marked as a "demo" it will be brand new and still in the plastic.

My son is 5' and 90lbs (on a rainy day), he used a 30/20 in Little League and now has to use a -3. What bat do you recommend will help him make the transition to a bigger bat?

If your son has to move up to a -3 bat, I would recommend looking into the Easton S3 or the Rawlings 5150 Velo. Both of these bats will be very balanced and will help him make a smoother transition into a bat that much bigger than what he is currently used to.
