It will really depend on the type of hitter you are. The 2012 Louisville Slugger TPX Exogrid2 will be more evenly balanced. The Easton XL1 will be more end loaded, but will have more flex than the Exogrid2.
My son is 13 and more of a contact, line drive hitter. He has been swinging a 31/22.5 Exogrid. Wanting to move to a -5 bat. Would this be a good fit or maybe a Marucci Black?
Both are great bats. I always recommend sticking with what is known and comfortable with the player. If he's been using the Exogrid, I recommend sticking with the Louisville Exogrid -5 bat.
Is it legal for IHSSA Indiana High School Sports Association play?

All of these parts are brought together using Louisville Slugger's EXOGRID Bi/Fusion Process, where a combination of heat and extreme pressure bond everything into a single, solid unit.
