The 2012 Mizuno Craze is ASA approved. It is also approved for USSSA, NSA, ISA, and ISF.

This bat combines unbelievable pop with rock solid durability and a comfortable lightweight swing. Made from Mizuno's Black Array Carbon, the Craze is built for explosive power. The durability of the Craze has been increased with the addition of more resin throughout the barrel. This toughness is also enhanced through the use of upgraded glass fiber which also gives players an unbelievable feeling on contact. A new coiled end cap combined with the Craze's balanced design gives players a lower swing weight and better control. A new process called the Cylinder Seaming Technique eliminates inconsistencies, producing a flawless design. A new 13 inch barrel increases the Craze's sweetspot and gives players even more explosiveness.
