This TWO-PIECE design is unlike any COMBAT slow pitch bat that has come before it. A fully composite handle and barrel are centered around COMBAT's new Handle Isolation Technology (HIT) that uses polymeric visco-elastic dampeners to isolate the ultra-light handle from the high performance double-wall barrel. HIT effectively eliminates vibration from reaching the hands, giving players a soft, damped feel without compromising performance! Even though the design is new, the composite material itself hasn't changed. COMBAT uses their Blended Fiber Technology (BFT) - a combination of carbon and glass fibers - to produce one of the hottest bats on the market! Nanocomp Technoloy is then added to fill in the microscopic gaps in the composite material by using a liquid resin to increase the Spiked's strength and durability.
