2013 DeMarini M2M: DXM2L Youth review by Hacksaw
Pros: Have only used three bats Omaha LE and Exogrid 2. The M2M has a larger sweetspot than both. You can feel the weight at the end of the bat but not an extreme end load. Good results after 3 rounds of BP and one game. Great for contact hitters with moderate power. Cons:None at the moment.

2013 DeMarini M2M: DXM2L Youth review by Chucktown J
Pros: Great pop right out of the wrapper. Decent size sweetspot. Good sound also. My son 10 yrs old hits the ball to the fence regularly. Cons:My son complains about the shock to the hands feeling if you hit the ball off closer to the end of the bat or not in the sweetspot of the bat. Batting gloves are a must with this bat. My son put a pair on and basically elimated the vibration. All in all great bat!

2013 DeMarini M2M: DXM2L Youth review by great bat
Pros: light weight. batter with not much power can benifit from this bat. extremely balanced. i bought it for my 7 year old but my 12 year old tried it out in one game and first up to bat got a triple off a hard hit ball. Cons:my 9 year old is a huge kid and a power hitter. he seems to struggle with the bat. almost like he is swingging nothing. its just really light for him

Is this bat an option for 10 year old softball girls?

No. The 2013 DeMarini M2M: DXM2L is a baseball bat that is not certified for use in softball leagues or associations. You will want to look at "fastpitch softball" bats.

What bat would be better for a 10 year old who weighs 75 lbs? We a trying to decide between the M2M or the Easton S3?

The Easton S3 and the DeMarini M2M are both great bats. The M2M will flex because of the two-piece design making it perfect for a contact hitter, while the Easton S3 will be a stiff one-piece design usually preferred by a power hitter.

Is this bat ASA approved? I checked their website and it only lists bats up to 2011 models. You don't mention the ASA in your approval list just the USSSA. What is the difference in the two organizations?

ASA and USSSA are two governing bodies for softball. USSSA governs both baseball and softball. The 2013 DeMarini M2M is a baseball bat so it will not be ASA certified. Only softball bats will have the ASA certifications.

Product Description

New for 2013! The DeMarini M2M is True American Muscle. Made in the USA, the M2M is all-alloy with no forgiveness. It's built for power, durability, and players that love to feel the ball all the way through the bat. This two-piece full-metal design is as stiff of a bat as they come; producing as much power as a metal bat possibly can. We're not talking about just any metal though. We're talking about DeMarini's new X10 Alloy. X10 features a proprietary blend of alloy agents and is finely tuned to give the M2M the thinnest, lightest, and strongest barrel walls possible. With a big, aggressive Longbarrel, the M2M is graced with one of the largest hitting surfaces (and sweetspots!) in the game today! The sweetspot is even further enhanced with Half and Half Technology that allows the barrel to produce a burst of ball-launching energy every time contact is made. Capped with an N2M End Cap that is scientifically tuned to absorb vibration, the M2M is one bat that will not disappoint. DeMarini: Born Hardcore! The M2M is approved for play in Little League, Babe Ruth, Dixie, Pony, AABC, and USSSA. It is backed by a Full Twelve (12) Month Manufacturer's Warranty. Free Shipping!

About DeMarini

DeMarini In 1992, DeMarini Sports had something to celebrate. The three-year-old company had climbed a rung on the proverbial ladder of success, moving its world headquarters from a dirt-floored barn to a slightly larger metal shack. "It was a big move for us," recalled Ray DeMarini from the batting cage of DeMarini Sport’s present-day Bat Industrial Complex. "The new shop was larger, more storm resistant, and -best of all- it had a heater." In the early days, DeMarini Sports hardly made a blip on the radar screen of softball. With no retailers and virtually no advertising budget, DeMarini.... read more
