The 2013 DeMarini Vexxum BBCOR: DXVNC Adult has the BBCOR stamp of certification. As of January 1, 2012, USSSA requires big barrel bats to either have the new USSSA 1.15 BPF stamp, be a wood bat or be a qualified BBCOR bat, as the Vexxum is. What is the difference between this 2013 Vexxum and the new 2014 Vexxum?
The 2013 DeMarini Vexxum BBCOR: DXVNC Adult will be more end loaded than the 2014 DeMarini Vexxum NVS BBCOR. The 2014 DeMarini Vexxum NVS uses new technology for a more balanced swing weight.
I'm not the biggest kid and I have to switch over to a BBCOR bat. Would this or the 2014 Vexxum be a better choice?
The 2013 DeMarini Vexxum BBCOR: DXVNC Adult is slightly end loaded. The 2013 Vexxum NVS BBCOR is more balanced and would be best for a player who is just starting to use a BBCOR bat.

Players have been crushing the ball for years with their DeMarini Vexxum due to its heavy-hitting, high-quality design. The Vexxum's power starts with the C6 Composite handle that has a wider weave and stiff feel for the powerful feel you desire while still maintaining a light swing weight. Joined to the C6 handle is an aluminum barrel constructed from DeMarini's new X10 Alloy. X10 features a proprietary blend of alloy agents and is finely tuned to give the Vexxum the thinnest, lightest, and strongest barrel walls possible. Its Longbarrel design gives the Vexxum the largest possible hitting surface so that players can do the maximum amount of damage swinging the bat. The sweetspot on the X10 Alloy Longbarrel is enhanced through the use of Half and Half technology that provides a burst of ball-launching energy every time contact is made. The end result of this design is MAD POP. Taper Ring Technology is also added to the Vexxum to achieve BBCOR standards WITHOUT blocking the sweetspot!
