Ask A QuestionI'm 5 feet tall, 12 years old and 115 pounds. I'm currently playing on 4 different travel teams. Do you think that this bat could handle all of that playing time and not fall apart? And based on my description, do you think that this would be a good bat for me? If not, what would you recommend? I had just bought the Worth FPX and was extremely disappointed and had to return it. I really need a good bat that can hold up.
For a good bat at a good price I would go with the 2013 Easton Alpha: FP13AL Fastpitch. It has a low M.O.I. which gives you a lighter feel when swinging the bat. It should last for many seasons.
My daughter is 5.5 feet 3 inches tall. I want get her either this bat or the 2012 Easton Synge. But, I'm sure because some of the reviews for the 2012 Easton Synge are not too good about the paint chipping. Do you have any suggestions?
The Easton Alpha Fastpitch is a one-piece alloy bat. I would go with the Easton Synge because of it is a composite bat. It will have more pop then the alloy. It has more reviews then the Easton Alpha because it is one of the most popular Fastpitch bat we have.
My daughter is a slapper, she currently has a RockeTech but it is too heavy. She would prefer one solid barrel, do you have any suggestions?
The 2013 Easton Alpha Fastpitch would be perfect for a slap hitter. I would suggest going down in weight to the 31" bat.
Product Description
New for 2013! Easton fastpitch bats have established a reputation for quality all across the country. That's why some of the top collegiate and high school programs exclusively swing Easton bats. This season, Easton introduces a new bat to the market called the Alpha. By definition, the word Alpha implies dominance, and that's exactly what Easton has in mind for you with this bat. Made from Easton's classic 7050 Aircraft Alloy, the one-piece Alpha is built for high performance at half the cost of leading alloy bats. Easton has brought their massive sweet spot technology to the Alpha so that players can get more out of every swing where contact is made. The Alpha features an evenly balanced swing weight with a low M.O.I. to give players extra speed behind each cut. The -13 drop of the Alpha will also greatly improve a player's swing speed and allow them to generate more power every time up to bat. With an ultra-thin 29/32 inch handle wrapped in a cushioned grip, the Alpha is easy to control and a joy to swing. It's time to become the Alpha-female on YOUR team! Easton: Know-Feel-Be The Difference. The Alpha is approved for play in ASA, USSSA, NSA, ISA, and ISF. It is backed by a Full Twelve (12) Month Manufacturer's Warranty. Free Shipping!
