My 9 year old is 51" tall and 60 lbs. Do you think 27" and 14 oz. is the right size?
Based on his size, a 28" model of the 2013 Louisville Slugger TPX Omaha: YB136 is the recommended size.
My son is 5 years old and is in Tee Ball right now, he will be in pitching machine next year. He is about 4 ft tall and about 45 lbs, what length and weight should I get him? He swings a 11.5 oz. now. Is this bat good for the machine without denting?
The 2013 Louisville Slugger TPX Omaha: YB136 would have too small of a barrel for machine pitch. Machine pitch leagues allow a 2 3/4" barrel which would give you son more area to hit the ball. With the height and weight given I would suggest a 27" bat. The Easton S1 JBB13S1 Junior Big Barrel would be perfect in the 27" 15 oz. model.
