What is the difference between this year's Omaha and last year's Omaha? And also, is the difference in balance between the two significant, because I swung last year's Omaha and it didn't feel too balanced.
The 2013 Louisville Slugger TPX Omaha Balanced BBCOR: BB136 is a very balanced model. While most BBCOR bats use thicker barrel walls to meet the performance certifications, the 2013 Omaha Balanced utilizes a composite ring below the sweet spot. This ring allows the Omaha to have thin barrel walls, which helps it maintain a very light swing weight, but to also meet the BBCOR certification. The difference in balance between models is noticeable.
