The 2013 Marucci Black 2: MYBB20 Youth bat features a 2 1/4" barrel diameter and would not be considered a big barrel model. Big barrel models, with 2 5/8" and 2 3/4" barrel diameters, will also be called Youth Big Barrel and Senior League bats on our website.
My son is 12 years old and is 5'5". He is growing at a fast rate. Should I switch him to a 32" length or will a 31" by fine for him?
We suggest a 31" bat but if he is growing at a fast rate a 32" would be okay. The 2013 Marucci Black 2 Youth is a really balanced bat so it will fill very light.
Can this bat be used in Little League because, I'm not sure?
