Ask A Question

Seeing how this is a one-sided bat, but full composite, how would having it rolled work? Wouldn't rolling it damage the non hitting side?

We do not recommend rolling any of the bats we sell. Rolling the bat would void the manufactures warranted.

Due to the AXE bat handle design, doesn't this more or less force you to hold the bat the same way each time, thus forcing you to hit with the same side of the bat all the time? That isn't good for any bat let alone a composite that needs to be broken-in evenly on all sides, correct?

The 2014 Axe Avenge: L142A Youth axe-like handle does cause you to hit with the same side of the barrel on the bat every hit. Axe engineers their bats to ensure durability for one-sided hitting. You will only need to break in the one side of the bat, unlike other composite models that need to be rotated while breaking in.

Product Description

New for 2014! The Axe handle was a truly revolutionary concept when it was introduced last season. Now, it's developed into a must-have for players around the country that are looking to bring power and consistency to their game! The Axe Avenge starts out with a two-piece composite design constructed from Plus Plus Composite that features the lightest, most durable carbon fiber on the market. Reinforced on the hitting side of the barrel using the Axe's new Engineered Hitting Zone, Plus Plus Composite makes it possible to have superior composite performance with the Axe handle. This year's model features a much more elongated barrel that delivers a HUGE sweet spot! But it's the handle that really makes this bat stand out. Refined this year with improved ergonomics that deliver better performance and comfort, the Axe handle looks exactly like what it sounds like - the handle of an axe. It defies conventional thinking, but the Axe handle fits perfectly in your hands, pushing the bat to the fingertips where it's supposed to be. The Axe handle's oval nature establishes a single swing plane for ridiculously consistent performance, swing after swing! Axe is so confident that you'll love this bat, that they are offering a 30 day, no questions asked, money-back guarantee. If the Axe handle isn't for you, simply send it back. What do you have to lose? Get the power of an Axe in your hands! Axe: Unleash Your Swing! The Axe Avenge is approved for play in Little League, Babe Ruth, Dixie, Pony, AABC, and features the new USSSA 1.15 BPF Stamp. It is backed by a Full Twelve (12) Month Manufacturer's Warranty. About Axe

Axe Launched by Baden Sports in 2011, the Axe line of bats was hailed as a breakthrough in bat technology by players and coaches from youth leagues to the Pros. The makers of the Axe line of bats often pose the question, "What does your traditional knob do for you?" Most players don't have a good answer. Axe engineers have created a handle that is not only more comfortable and safer in terms of hand injuries, but also helps improve the hitter's swing by keeping them on an even plane. Although Axe is new to the market, they are backed by Baden Sports, Inc., an independent, family-owned compan.... read more
