Ask A QuestionWhat is the difference in end caps between this bat which has a geo end cap and the regular CF6 which has a clutch end cap?
Demarini's Geo Internal End Cap is constructed with load balancing triangles to maintain stiffness through the barrel and to provide a smooth feel. The Clutch End-cap returns impact energy to the barrel for better pop and less vibration.
My DD plays 14U travel ball and has used the 2013 CF5 as well as the 2013 Xeno and likes the pop they have. But she is currently using the Worth 454 Legit for the larger sweet spot but lacks the pop. Does the new CF6 have a larger sweet spot like the 454 or a smaller one like the Xeno and CF5?
The 2014 DeMarini CF6 Hope: DXCFH Fastpitch will have a larger sweet spot due to the new composite material used. DeMarini is using a new Paradox composite material that is stronger and more responsive.
Break-in period?
The 2014 DeMarini CF6 Hope: DXCFH Fastpitch requires a break-in period of 150-200 swings, working up from about 40% to full power at the 150 swing mark. Use real leather softballs and rotate the bat a quarter inch every swing.
