Pros: Just awesome! Received bat this morning, My DD just had some batting practice and the balls are flying off the bat.
Cons: None
one happy dad
Pros: My 14 yr. old has been playing tournament ball for 5 yrs. and I have spent a ton of money on bats. Finally, a bat worth the money. Simply put right out of the wrapper this bat knocks the snot out of the ball. It's WORTH every penny.
Cons: None.
cali_dad
Pros: I recently bought this bat and had it shipped 2 days before a qualifier. A few buckets later into the bow net and I was in awe. She took it out this weekend and jacked one to the fence. Well worth ever penny and the expedited shipping. Also, this bat probably has the best design I've seen.
Cons: NONE.
JJ
Pros: Bat is extremely hot. DD loves end loaded bats. She is s small girl, but generates very good bat speed.
Cons: If your DD's swing is not technically sound than this bat won't help much. The end load makes it necessary to have quick hands through the zone. Otherwise, save your money and spend it on a good hitting coach.
Q
Pros: Amazing the way the end load helps generate more bat speed. Seems odd but it works. DD loves the bat and has crunched her first two home runs with this bat in the past 4 games. Bat graphics haven't chipped/peeled like past DeMarini bats, either, so that's a bonus.
Cons: None so far.
ReillyW.
Pros: Hot out of the wrapper... no "ringers" whatsoever.. Excellent bat that has allowed a 12 year old to really hit the ball well..
Cons:
Brian.
Pros: Very nice bat. Daughter is 14 and is smashing the ball like never before. Awesome pop of this bat. Daughter had 2 different RIP-IT bats before, which by the way NEVER and I mean NEVER buy RIP-IT bats. The insane name fits the bat.
Cons: None
KevTN
Pros: After my daughter hit with this bat she just grinned and said, "they named this bat right; it is INSANE!!!" Bat has a lot of pop with no complaints of vibration even with miss hits. This her first Demarini bat and I was a bit nervous about ordering , but the 30 day money back guarantee convinced me enough to order. Her first tournament with be her ASA nationals so that will be a good test. My daughter is very happy with the way the bat feels and swings.
Cons: none

Cons:

Pros: my 14u daughter hit her first and second home run shortly after getting this bat.
Cons:

Pros: An update on this bat. My daughter used this in the ASA Nationals. She lead her team in batting average and RBI's. All but one her hits (off the handle but still went over the short stop) were strong. Put four or five to the fence. Not too bad considering this was her first tourney swinging this bat. This is her first DeMarini and end loaded bat. She loves it.
Cons: None.
Ok L player
Pros: This bat has a lot of pop when you first swing it. It has a good feel when you first hit it but then all of the pop vanishes right after you hit it. It doesn't for too far
Cons: The construction for a power hitter isn't that great and the graphics aren't very good
Broke after 1 month NTW coach
Pros: Bat looks and feels good.
Cons: the knob (small end) fell off the bat during normal batting practice. Too much money for a defect of this nature. stay away from Demarini.
totally Insane Happy Dad player
Pros: My daughter plays in college and said that first time out, she could feel the ball just explode off the bat. After 300 hundred balls in practice, it just keeps getting better
Cons: none
i love it! Giselle Fernandez player
Pros: i am a freshman and i play for my high school. i recently bought this bat and i could just feel the difference in the pop and how smooth the ball flies off. the design goes perfect with my school colors and im so excited to use it tomorrow!
Cons: none(:
Be aware of the 30 day guarantee Not happy with 30 day trial parent
Pros: The handle looks cool.
Cons: You need to keep the circular tag that says 30 day guarantee and send it in with your receipt. And make sure you make a copy because they will call you and say they did not get any paperwork!
confidence Bill parent
Pros: explosive and powerful bat sounds awesome when hit on barrel
Cons: none

softballgirl17
Pros: Very nice bat!!! The ball really pops off the bat and it's really nice to swing! I love this bat! It also has a cool design that will make the other softball players jealous
Cons:
Coach
Pros: Looks nice
Cons: Bat developed obvious dead spot after 3 weeks of use. Demarini was not understanding at all. Took 2 weeks to get warranty replacement and because I had to buy another bat (definitely not demarini) I will have to sell the warranty replacement on ebay. Go with better quality bat.
DeMarini CF6 Insane is Insane! LMu parent
Pros: My daughter just started using her new DeMarini CF6 Insane 34" bat (a Junior in high school) and hit a Grand Slam out of the park! She's in love! Bought it here on JustBats.com
Cons: Cons? We have none.
Love it! Mike parent
Pros: POP! Feels lighter than -10 but hits like a -9! My daughter consistently hits further than any bat she's tried.
Cons: None yet
First HOME RUN!!!! Softball mom parent
Pros: I read the reviews before I bought this bat and heard about many first time home runs by users. I was a little skeptical but with so many great reviews I bought it for my 15 year old daughter (34/24). She got her first home run with this bat!!! I was completely amazed by the power and pop this bat has. It has not only improved her batting but also her confidence. She loves the way the bat feels and said she didn't notice much of a difference changing from a balanced bat to end-loaded. I would highly recommend this bat!!!
Cons: None
Nice Bat MIDTN coach
Pros: The sting reduction is a nice touch. Has a little better than average pop. Sweet spot seems a little larger than the CF5.
Cons: We're huge Demarini fans, but they still haven't been able to duplicate the pop of the Phenix and CF3. My daughter will continue to swing the Phenix until it breaks.
Bat went dead real quick with no pop at all Meg player
Pros: nice vibration when hit even on the tip of the bat.
Cons: This bat went dead right after i did everything to break it in. There's no pop in it whatsoever, and I am a power hitter and couldn't get the ball out of the infield for my highschool and travel season. Would not recommend this bat.
so far so good: 34-24 Demarini Insane Dave E. coach
Pros: Upgraded to heavier bat (Demarini Insane 34 - 24) and decided to go end loaded as my daughter is a big kid (5'-10") and more of a power hitter. First year playing travel ball. She has good bat speed with her Easton Synge (composite, one piece. 34 - 22.5) which is a lighter bat so not as much pop. First time out this last weekend's tournament, this end loaded bat really helped her to hit balls harder whether it be stronger ground ball shots up the middle or launching flies out to left center. Where she was getting lots of singles before, she's now getting mostly extra base hits. she adjusted to the heavier bat pretty quickly by choking up slightly and hit well against a solid pitcher. As she gets stronger she'll only be hitting farther.
Cons: none yet.
Great Bat! Paul Gagnow parent
Pros: I bought this bat for my 14 year old daughter, she is smashing the ball! She has weaker swing but good follow through and getting on base with the quick pop the ball has off the bat the infield doesnt have time to react and get infront of the ball if it's on the ground. I am very happy with the purchase of this bat, I wish I would have bought it before season started. She has used it two weeks and loves it.
Cons: None.
Coach Steve W coach
Pros: My 14u daughter and some of her team mates love this bat. She has been ripping shots to the fence with it and leads the team in RBI's since she switched to this bat back in January. She loves the feel and swing of this end loaded bat. She has used this bat for 6 months and it is holding up well.
Cons: NONE
Impressive pop David parent
Pros: hot out of the wrapper not nearly as fragile as others have indicated 13-yr old daughter hit her first homer with this, and then 8 more, in one season. Had been sole Rocketech before (that's still a great bat, btw)
Cons: gets dinged up easier
Nice bat when not used above 14u... Bella player
Pros: The bat pops great, it has a nice feel, and a large sweet spot.
Cons: My CF-6 Insane bat, along with my friends CF-6 Insane bat, broke after about 8 or so months of us having and using it. The barrel folded in on itself, which I've never seen a bat do, nor have I heard of one doing so. I would recommend this bat be used for 14u or below, as girls don't swing and pitch as hard as some in the upper divisions.
no pop me myself and i player
Pros: the looks
Cons: very small sweet spot, it went dead as soon as it came out of the wrapper. no pop. i was very disapointed. I loved my cf4 honestly, what happened demarini?
Demarini Insane Bat Arianna Estrada player
Pros: This bat is amazing! Ive had it for a couple years now and it still does its job! This was my first composite bat and after using it, I can never go back to an aluminum bat! Easy on the hands and the ball literally pops right off the bat.
Cons: None

About the Brand
In 1992, DeMarini Sports had something to celebrate. The three-year-old company had climbed a rung on the proverbial ladder of success, moving its world headquarters from a dirt-floored barn to a slightly larger metal shack. "It was a big move for us," recalled Ray DeMarini from the batting cage of DeMarini Sport’s present-day Bat Industrial Complex. "The new shop was larger, more storm resistant, and -best of all- it had a heater."
In the early days, DeMarini Sports hardly made a blip on the radar screen of softball. With no retailers and virtually no advertising budget, DeMarini grew steadily by selling high-performance bats directly to customers. While established companies made "juiced" bats for the pros and ordinary bats for the public, DeMarini focused on making one line of high-performance bats for pros and amateurs alike. This approach, combined with a passion for the sport, led to the greatest innovation in softball history - the world’s first multi-wall bat: the DeMarini Doublewall.
Released in 1993, the DeMarini Doublewall was the world’s first multi-wall bat. Like a modern golf driver or oversized tennis racket, the Doublewall had a giant "sweetspot," which allowed average players to hit like pros. DeMarini’s sales exploded, and before long opposing bat manufacturers to notice. DeMarini - a homegrown company led by a softball fanatic - had shaken the establishment silly.
To understand the rise of the DeMarini Dynasty, you need to know Ray DeMarini. A cult hero among avid players, Ray DeMarini emerged on the professional softball scene at the age of 40, a veritable geriatric among younger players. With a scientific approach to training, a batting speed of 96 miles-per-hour and a bombastic attitude, DeMarini fast earned a reputation as a savage competitor.
In June of 1987, ESPN launched a nationwide search for a hardcore player to advise on a series of instructional softball videos. When approached by producer Erich Lytle, the biggest boys in softball repeatedly spoke of a five-foot-seven softball giant—Ray DeMarini. DeMarini had mastered reflex hitting, a technique that drops the ball squarely between the infield and outfield. Impressed with DeMarini's knowledge and scientific approach to training, Lytle not only hired Ray as an advisor—he hired him as the host. Together, they produced Ray DeMarini's Reflex Hitting System, ESPN's most successful home video to date.
Having garnered national recognition through ESPN, Ray turned his efforts toward designing a high-performance bat for the masses. To accomplish this, he needed an engineer. "Not just an engineer," he said, "but a boot-strapping rocket scientist who could build an empire with pocket change." Ray's call was answered by Mike Eggiman. Having grown up on a farm, Eggiman was adept at making the most of a situation. Case in point: the company's first piece of automated bat-making equipment had the heart of an abandoned washing machine.
With Eggiman as Chief Engineer, DeMarini Sports delivered a series of industry firsts: the first multi-wall bat (Doublewall Distance), the first high-performance bat for massive players (Fatboy) and the first high-performance youth bat (Black Coyote).
In 2000, DeMarini joined forces with Wilson Sporting Goods to develop the next generation of hitting technology. Ray believed it was a perfect fit, as both companies shared a vision of developing game-enhancing equipment for avid players. What’s more, the companies had complimentary products: Wilson was the leader in gloves, balls and protective gear, while DeMarini made the world’s finest bats. According to Chris Considine, Vice President/General Manager of Wilson Sporting Goods: "The thing that struck me most about DeMarini was their passion for sports and their true competitiveness.
Within a year, DeMarini unveiled the industry’s first concept bat, the $35,000 F1. Secured under lock and key at the DeMarini Bat Industrial Complex in Hillsboro, Oregon, the F1 served as a technological storehouse for future products, including DeMarini’s landmark Half & Half system.
In December 2001, 12 years after the genesis of DeMarini Sports, Ray DeMarini died of cancer in his Northwest Portland home. He was 55. The next summer, the Portland Metro Softball Association paid homage to the “King of Softball” with the dedication of Ray DeMarini Field. Formerly known as Delta #1, the field was DeMarini’s favorite place to test bats during the early days of business. Ray DeMarini—bat maker and player extraordinaire—was remembered for his high-performance softball bats and unwavering encouragement of everyday players. Today, a 40-foot sign announcing RAY DEMARINI FIELD graces the outfield, and an interpretive display chronicling Ray’s life greets players as they register for games.
More "Insane Dedication to Performance" is in store for tomorrow.
