My son has played most of the season with a Louisville Slugger TPX 2 5/8" barrel, 28" 19 oz. and is pretty good at making contact. Looking at a new bat for tournament and summer play. Would you recommend the 2014 Demarini Vexxum 29" 19 oz. or 28" 18 oz.? My son is about 54" tall and weighs 66 lbs.
