Ask A QuestionI noticed there were a couple of different models of this bat. I am looking at this model bat for my 6 year old son who is in coach pitch, using the regulation 9" hardball. Is the -10.5 oz model made for the coach pitch? Wondering because this model comes in a 30" which is unusual for smaller kids in coach pitch.
The 2014 DeMarini Vexxum: DXVXY Junior Big Barrel is designed for Coach Pitch. Any bat listed as Junior Big Barrel on our web site will be designed for players in Coach Pitch leagues, where pitch speeds do not exceed 40 mph. And this is the sole Junior Big Barrel model we currently have on the web site that offers a 30" option.
