Questions and Answers
Got a question about the 2014 DeMarini Voodoo: DXVDL Youth? Ask our team of experts, and they will respond within 24 hours.
Ask A QuestionMy son is really tall and skinny. He is a great line drive hitter, and not a huge power hitter. Would the Easton S3 or the DeMarini Voodoo DXVDL be better for him?
The 2014 DeMarini Voodoo: DXVDL Youth bat will have a barrel heaviness to the swing weight. The S3 will be much more balanced in swing weight. Line drive hitter's usually prefer the more easier swung balanced bats.
What are the main differences between 2013 and 2014 DeMarini Voodoo youth bats?
Both the 2013 and 2014 DeMarini Voodoo models are two-piece hybrid designs. The 2013 model features paradox composite in the handle updated from the 2013 model for a stiffer feel. It will also feature a new knob. The following link is for further comparison http://www.justbats.com/compare/
Is this bat legal in middle school play or for ages 11 through 12?
The 2014 DeMarini Voodoo: DXVDL Youth bat will be very light in weight and is typically used by younger little league players, not middle school kids. If your league forces you to hit with a small barrel youth bat, this could possibly work. I would advise on using a Senior League big barrel bat at a slightly heavier weight.
Product Description
New for 2014! DeMarini isn't satisfied just having one of the top selling bats in the game. They want to give players the most DOMINANT bat in the game. With this season's Voodoo, they've done just that. The two-piece DeMarini Voodoo Paradox draws its name from its new Paradox Composite handle. This fresh new technology creates an even stiffer handle than in years past. When combined with the Voodoo's X10 Alloy thickness-tuned barrel, this bat becomes ultra-responsive. The X10 Alloy used on the barrel is finely tuned and shaped to provide the thinnest walls, allowing the barrel to be lighter and have a larger than sweet spot than ever before! The Voodoo also includes the technology that put DeMarini on the map - Half + Half - and it's going to make your swing stronger! At the end of the barrel, DeMarini's ION V End Cap eliminates vibration by pushing energy back into the barrel for maximum power. On the other end, DeMarini introduces their new RCK (Really Cool Knob). This anatomically correct knob may be a small addition, but makes a huge impact by letting the bat rest comfortably in your bottom hand so that you don't feel a thing. Better feel, stiffer construction, more power - that's the Voodoo Paradox! DeMarini: Born Hardcore! The 2014 DeMarini Voodoo is approved for play in Little League, Babe Ruth, Dixie, Pony, AABC, and USSSA. It is backed by a Full Twelve (12) Month Manufacturer's Warranty. Free Shipping!
About DeMarini
In 1992, DeMarini Sports had something to celebrate. The three-year-old company had climbed a rung on the proverbial ladder of success, moving its world headquarters from a dirt-floored barn to a slightly larger metal shack. "It was a big move for us," recalled Ray DeMarini from the batting cage of DeMarini Sport’s present-day Bat Industrial Complex. "The new shop was larger, more storm resistant, and -best of all- it had a heater."
In the early days, DeMarini Sports hardly made a blip on the radar screen of softball. With no retailers and virtually no advertising budget, DeMarini.... read more
