Description

There are 3 constants when it comes to slow pitch players and their bats. They want a bat that's hot out of the wrapper, they're always looking for the next best thing, and they prefer either a balanced or end-loaded design. Raw Power is Easton's answer. The Raw Power line features the B-Series that offers evenly balanced designs for controlled power, and the L-Series that offers end-loaded designs for absolute maximum power. Part of the B-Series, the B1.0 has a longer 13.5 inch evenly balanced barrel for a controlled, yet powerful swing. The B1.0 features Easton's patented two-piece ConneXion technology that holds together this fully composite design. The barrel is constructed from Easton's trademark IMX Composite for an optimal sweet spot and maximum performance, while SIC Black Carbon is added to the handle to create the BEST feeling composite bat you'll EVER swing. This handle is wrapped with an ultra-thin gauze grip that is perfect for players that like tack without the bulkiness of many modern grips. The time is now to bring Raw Power to YOUR game. Easton: Engineered for Glory! The B1.0 is approved for play in USSSA, NSA, ISA, and ISF. It is backed by a Full Six (6) Month Manufacturer's Warranty. Free Shipping!

Pros: Everything about this bat is a PRO. I bought this bat not knowing much about it just reviews I read on this website. I am one happy ball player. I am hitting shots all over the field the ball just fly's off this bat. The graphics and the paint job on this bat look even better in person.

Cons: I haven't had any issues with this bat.

Pros: The bat was good out of the wrapper. I put about 30 cuts on it and it was ready to go. Quickest breakin i have had on a bat. Hit some legit 360-370 ft balls at about the 120 cut mark. Very easy to keep hands up with the barrel for nice hard line drives also bc of the ballanced feel. I have already purchased another one exactly like it bc i cant imagine the bat will last very long with it feeling like it does already. I hope im wrong but i will be prepared

Cons: The grip is good when its new but didnt take long to start wearing out. This is really minor bc i usually put tape on a bat befor i take the wrapper off.

Questions and Answers

Have a question about the Easton B1.0 Slow Pitch Softball Bat: SP13B1? Ask our team of experts and they will respond within 24 hours.

I have been doing some searching on reviews of this bat and have heard some issues with the grip becoming warn fast and uncomfortable. I'm looking at purchasing this bat for softball season this year but am a little worried if the grip is going to be bad. What have you heard? Kyle
The grip on the 2014 Easton B1.0: SP13B1 Slow Pitch is thin, so after a while it may wear down. Luckily, grip is fairly easy and inexpensive to replace if need be.
Marcus
What is the difference between the 2014 Easton B1.0: SP13B1 Slow Pitch and the B2.0 SP13B2? john
The 2014 Easton B1.0: SP13B1 Slow Pitch and the 2014 Easton B2.0: SP13B2 Slow Pitch are both balanced fully composite bats. However, the B1.0 is a two-piece bat with ConneXion technology, while the B2.0 is a one-piece composite.
Katie
What are the main differences between a one-piece design and a two-piece design? Rick
A one-piece bat is going to be more stiff, while a two-piece bat, like the 2014 Easton B1.0, is going to have more flex when a player swings. Generally power hitters prefer stiffer bats and contact hitters prefer bats that are more flexible.
Marcus
Typically I am a power hitter. Is this bat right for me? JMAC48
The 2014 Easton B1.0: SP13B1 Slow Pitch is a two-piece composite bat that is balanced. Typically a one-piece end loaded bat would be better suited for a power hitter. The 2014 Easton L2.0 Brian Wegman Pro Model: SP13L2 Slow Pitch would be a great option.
Kara

The 2014 Easton B1.0 (SP13B1) Slow Pitch replaced the old Easton Salvo models.
