Description

There are 3 constants when it comes to slow pitch players and their bats. They want a bat that's hot out of the wrapper, they're always looking for the next best thing, and they prefer either a balanced or end-loaded design. Raw Power is Easton's answer. The Raw Power line features the B-Series that offers evenly balanced designs for controlled power, and the L-Series that offers end-loaded designs for absolute maximum power. Part of the L-Series, the L2.0 has a specific end-load weight called out at the end of its 12 inch barrel: 26oz = 1oz load, 27oz = 2oz load, 28oz = 3oz load, 30oz = 4oz load. The L2.0 is Brian Wegman's pro model and features Easton's Single System Composite Design. The barrel is constructed from Easton's trademark IMX Composite for an optimal sweet spot and maximum performance, while SIC Black Carbon is added to the handle to make this the BEST feeling composite bat you'll EVER swing. This handle is wrapped with an ultra-thin gauze grip that is perfect for players that like tack without the bulkiness of many modern grips. The time is now to bring Raw Power to YOUR game. Easton: Engineered for Glory! The L2.0 is approved for play in USSSA, NSA, ISA, and ISF. It is backed by a Full Twelve (12) Month Manufacturer's Warranty. Free Shipping!

Great bat, Couldn't be happier Comegan player

Pros: This bat was HOT out of the wrapper, lacing 300+ shots with ease, Awesome look, Great Pop, and very little Break in Time. A teammate of mine bought the 2014 Easton L5:0 and this L2:0 felt much better, the SIC black carbon handle makes this bat look even more wicked, I'm really glad I bought this bat, I'd suggest it to anyone looking for a new one. Been playing softball for 5 years and have had a ton of softball bats in my hands , Eastons, Mikens, a couple of worths, and this has to be one of the best bats I've ever used.

Cons: Got the 27oz model and I should've gotten the 26oz. The grip was ripping up my gloves but a simple grip change fixed that no problem.

How does this bat compare to last year's 2013 EASTON SP13L5 L5.0? How will this bat's durability be with .47 COR with max 375 lbs fastpitch cork softball? Because I swing 28 oz. softball bats, should I buy a lighter end loaded bat to have the same feel? comegan
The 2014 Easton L2.0 Brian Wegman Pro Model (SP14L2) uses improved composite materials in the handle for increased durability. The L2.0 will perform well with the .47 COR balls. We recommend using a 27 oz. end loaded bat if you currently swing a 28 oz. balanced bat.

How does it compare to the 2012 model with the grey and purple writing? barnzee
This 2014 Easton L2.0 Brian Wegman Pro Model (SP14L2) Slow Pitch Softball Bat features a very similar design to the Easton Synergy 100W (SP12SY100W) Slow Pitch bat. Both bats feature the SIC Black Carbon Composite handles and 12" IMX Composite barrels. The most noticeable differences will be the grip and the fact that the L2.0 features a heavier end load than previous Synergy models.

How long do you think it would take to break in Easton L2.0 Brian Wegman model. Would I need to use harder balls? sosmooth
The 2014 Easton L2.0 Brian Wegman Pro Model Slow Pitch Softball Bat (SP14L2) is a composite bat. For any composite bat we recommend 150-200 swings, and rotating the bat a quarter of an inch on each swing. This will break the bat in, and I recommend using the normal slow pitch softballs.
