Great bat Mark Delgado player
Pros: I just got this bat at the easton factory. My dad works for them and he got to bring a mako home so I could test it. Wow. This bat is amazing. It feels like evenly spaced bat. The swing speed on it is amazing. With a great feel and a big sweet spot this bat takes 2014. The bottom line is this bat just changed easton history.
Cons: None!
Beast Beast player
Pros: This bat is flat out awesome. Had a game today and hit 3 triples. You cannot find a better bat.
Cons: Nothing.
easton mako bbcor travel ball player 12 player
Pros: Hit two deep doubles in my first game of the fall. I love the pop and light feel to the bat. Very light with no sting.
Cons: Price and took 150 hits to break-in.
Mako Pete player
Pros: Everything, this bat doesn't even feel like a BBCOR.
Cons: Nothing.
its okay Bryce Machado player
Pros: I think its overrated.. i would just spend 150 on ebay and get a new 2013 s1... but its has a nice design...
Cons: price
amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 bigtpapi123 player
Pros: this bat is nice and balanced. I just got it about a week ago and I love it. the pop is amazing and I hit 1 homerun and a double today in my game. you should definitely buy this bat because it is worth the price!!
Cons: takes about 150-200 swings to break in
Awesome Kaden Baseball player
Pros: This bat just blew me away.
Cons: The price.
Easton Mako Billy D player
Pros: Sweet pop.
Cons: Broke on first swing, I hit it on the handle and it snapped in half. Easton has screwed up yet again.
Meh slugger player
Pros: Hits okay.
Cons: Its an Easton, so basically you pay 450 for the bat, plus you only get 300 hits, 150 of which are breaking it in.
Great Bat BaSeBaLl_SwAg player
Pros: Nice overall bat, great pop, weight distributed evenly (not top heavy)
Cons: I didn't find anything wrong with this bat
great bat tscsz coach
Pros: great swing weight very managable bat. nice size sweet spot good pop. will be the best of 2014.
Cons: price
best bat i have ever usef baseball51 player
Pros: It has amazing pop nict grip and lookks goof itd all atound yhe brdt bat out there hit a double with it off the fence in my first ab
Cons: none
Bad Bat Eric player
Pros: Grip was nice and the vibration was good. It looks nice but thats about it.
Cons: Felt terrible when i was hitting with it. It had no pop whatsoever. My team and i got this bat to try out for our season and everyone hated it. They would have rather use wood over the Mako. You spend way too much for the bat anyway. You could buy a different bat that is better for half the cost. Sorry Easton but this bat wasn't good.
Amazing MakoMan12 player
Pros: This bat is just simply great. It is a mixture of the S1 and the Xl1 it's as light if not lighter than the CF5 the barrel is massive and the sweet spot is huge it has a great feel and Easton has just made bat of the year.
Cons: Price and They sell out fast for people who do not already own one
DaBest eastonkid player
Pros: went 4-4 first game with a homer, double and 2 singles. good pop. takes a little to break in but really good overall
Cons: price
Good Bat So Far Mark parent
Pros: Color Sound I bought this bat for my son and he seems to really like it he used an Easton XL2 -8 in the spring as a 13 year old so I wanted to get him use to swinging something a little heavier in the fall. We went through about 100+ swings of soft toss the night he got it and it has a cool sound to it. He use it in a game last night and went 3for3 one ball hit the fence on a line drive. Did I see a $450 difference in the way the ball jumps off this bat compared to the XL2? No.. I will write another review after he uses it a little longer.
Cons: Price
The Perfect Creation Anthony parent
Pros: My son just started swinging a drop 3 so I thought he would struggle at the plate. Going from a -9 to a -3 is a big difference but he truly raked with the Mako. He pulled his first two hits and held his own. Based on his feedback, this bat is well balanced with tons of pop out of the wrapper.
Cons: None
Best BBCOR bat ever !!!! Blake Bennett player
Pros: Hit for the first time ever with this bat so much pop so balanced ans is definitely worth the price
Cons: nothing at all
Great bat BAseball player
Pros: The bat was great really had nice pop
Cons: the vibration was a little much id suggest wearing batting gloves
Great Bat Overall James Bendy parent
Pros: This bat has a nice sweet spot. The ball jumps off the bat. One can still get a decent result with ball flight distance even if not his square. It is very well balanced. The grip is nice. The handle feels comfortable. Break in time (approx. 120 hits) appears to be less than the S Series alloy bats that Easton produces. Very nice sound when hit solid. Nice paint design sets it apart from others. The bar has been set in the next generation BBCOR bats.
Cons: Cost and finding yourself being selfish and no longer allowing other teamates to use your bat as you have in past years.
Awesome Bat D player
Pros: Great Pop, no sting, very balanced with good bat speed, HUGE sweet spot
Cons: nothing
Amazing!!! Nick player
Pros: This bat feels great. All of my teammates told me to get it and I finally did, and I am not disappointed. The grip is nice, the barrel is huge, and the swing weight is incredible. Once again, Easton has exceeded my expectations.
Cons: Price
Stunk Tim player
Pros: Price.
Cons: Broke on about my 500th hit.
Easton bats always have great pop Brandon Walker player
Pros: Good pop right out if the box, also it is very balanced and has a good feel to it when you swing it. A lot of the players like to use it and some have bought one also.
Cons: none so far
Great Bat Happy Dad parent
Pros: Well Balanced, great pop.
Cons: Flared grip, price
Hawaiian Mako BBCOR Maunalua Bay Shark Cage player
Pros: Appearance looks sharp. Nice color combination. Get's your attention. Feels Great. Feels balanced for an end loaded bat. Lot's of Pop. There was a weird high pitched sound of the bat in the beginning of the break in process. It will get better. It's a Easton.
Cons: Everyone wants to use the bat. It's a bummer.....The grips are too thin. I will have to change this out soon. Pricey.
BEAST beast player
Pros: Awesome pop, grip is amazing, it feels super light, it's my first -3 BBCOR and in my last 20 at bats I have 14 hits
Cons: Grip starts to tear off a little bit after like 200-300 swings
Best bat! Kody player
Pros: This bat comes with a nice look and feeling, has great pop, not much vibration on a jam hit, overall this bat is solid and worth every penny. If you're looking for a bat to help you become a dangerous hitter than this bat is for you.
Cons: A little pricy but worth it.
Easton Mako Joshua Johnson player
Pros: It's an alright bat with an OK sweet spot. I got it 3 weeks ago and and finally broke it in. I definitely prefer the Omaha Balanced over this bat.
Cons: This bat is way too expensive. I bought the Omaha Balanced at Academy for $60 and it is a way better bat than the Easton Mako.
JB User player
Pros:
Cons:
mako jfish player
Pros: i tried out the mako today at the local cages, and i had one word for this bat, awesome. Had great pop, very well balanced, and swing speed was amazing. The greatest bat Ive used since the combat b1.
Cons: none
Not bad too expensive for what you get Markus player
Pros: This bat has a similar feel to the demarini cf5 and has great pop. The weight of the bat seems like it should be. I am a 6'5 eighth grader and this is a good bat for power hitters.
Cons: This bat is way over priced for what you get. It is just like the cf5 which is a lot cheaper than this bat. The vibration on the bat is horrible to, so definitely use batting gloves if you chose to purchase this bat.
overpriced brett baseball player
Pros: the bat to me just feels weird because of the balanced weight and the big sweet spot put together. if you have never swung this bat before dont buy it unless you know how it feels when you swing
Cons: just because you bought a 450 dollar bat doesnt mean you are going to get base hits and homeruns
pretty good spartanguy player
Pros: feels pretty good. id compare it to the s1
Cons: not at much pop as exo or attack i suggest those bats
DA MAKO Dude from the west coast player
Pros: i am able to get this bat through the plate faster then the cf6. unlike the cf6 i can get a little more pop out of the bat because of the bat speed i get from it i make better contact then i have and have been getting the most power then ever before. I was able to swing and try this bat out at a bat wars and this bat was easily my favorite out of the Demarrini bats as well and Combat and Marrucci bats.
Cons: the price is very high but so far it has been 100% worth it my only advice is test it out before buying make sure you like it and it works for you everyone has different abilitys.
Mako Baseball love player
Pros: Has really great pop can feel anything when hit on sweet spot first day I got it 3 run homerun great bat worth the price
Cons: None
Terrible Tyler player
Pros: None
Cons: Garbage
alright bat... rgman6921 player
Pros: It hit good hit far felt good balanaced good
Cons: The cf6 is definitely better.. and cheaper
Outstanding bat Cam Brooks player
Pros: Very natural upgrade for an S1 swinger Feels like a war club with the huge barrel Not sure you can say lots of pop with a BBCor but...lots of pop
Cons: The little round orange piece fell off the bat the first week. Stuck it back on and it has stayed on for 2 weeks.
alright bat.. rgman21 player
Pros: It has good pop about the same as the cf5 but good balance and good sweet spot.
Cons: It is way expensive for being almost exactly the same as the cf5.. the cf6 is way better the whole barrel is a good sweet spot and the cf6 is only 400$ and is way better.. this is a good bat don't get me wrong but if u want to get the best out of your money I would recommend the cf6
great bat Ryan player
Pros: everything
Cons: nothing
Moeball
Pros: I'm a freshman with insane bat speed and play at the top level in baseball. I didn't want the XL1 because I'm not a fan of endloaded bats, and its not really endloaded, and I didn't want the S1 because I already have the bat speed, so I would always be early. I got this bat and it is basically a balanced XL1 with the S1 handle. Best of both worlds. Get this bat if you're a line drive hitter and you can occasionally put some over the wall.
Cons: Price, but what'd you expect? This is a balanced XL1 with the S1 handle. Get it
AMAZING Dave player
Pros: Got to demo this bat for a game this fall with my high-school, has the pop and barrel size/shape of the XL1 but is as balanced if not more so than the S1. This combination helps a lot especially as a smaller player to hit balls more effectively and harder.
Cons: Long break in period, incredibly expensive
joethehoe
Pros: I tested this bat. It's really good and has pop.
Cons: None.
easton head
Pros: Good bat!

Grandpa G. Gary Cornelson other
Pros: bought it for grandson as he tried one earlier that a teammate had and he said it felt so good and hit the ball with so much authority tha the really wanted one.
Cons: do not have anything con to say yet as he has been trying to wear it out hitting with his instructor and in the cages.
Best Bat on the market Carson Denham player
Pros: Really balanced bat and it has so much pop. It is definitely worth every dollar. I used the cf6 and it is terrible compared to the Mako.
Cons: Everybody wants to use it and it takes a while to break in
Don't buy the HYPE I-Mont player
Pros: Looks Great
Cons: It doesn't feel good through contact and it has less pop than last year's bat. I have buyer's remorse.
mako chris player
Pros: has pop and evenly balanced
Cons: price
Not Worth IT Connor player
Pros: This is extremely balanced and has a decent sized sweet spot
Cons: Stung my hands on a few inside pitches Doesn't have as good pop as i thought it would for $449 Not worth the money... The s3 is just as good save your money buy a different bat!
Awesome da player

Cons: everyone wants to use it.
Mako Sweet! MisterPeanut player
Pros: Awesome feel! Feels like a strong light weight club that I can swing super fast!
Cons: Price and time will tell about its durability
Love It.! Jordan player
Pros: I haven't felt any sting yet. It has a really good pop to it. It's light weight and the color is very pretty. I am now using this bat in my softball teams cage, i have really enjoyed using it. Once you get ahold of the ball, it will go far.
Cons: The price. It takes about 150 hits to break in.
Lovely Fabio player
Pros: this bat is amazing and has the best pop for a bbcor. I hit a bomb to the wall and it doesnt take as long to break it in. I love you Just bats
Cons: none
Amazing Aberdeen Washington player
Pros: Everything, got jammed just above the hands and felt nothing and the ball still went far enough for a single, have hit a few homers, and lots of double with this bat. Sweet spot is amazing, and feel is perfect, nice ping when you hit the ball. The perfect bat.
Cons: nothing
One of the best bats ever!!!! Mdawg51 player
Pros: Great pop good feel it's good against vibration but not great Nice paint job. Just get this bat!!
Cons: The cost is a little high , I got mine when it first came out and it's slowly starting die on me, but that could be because I play baseball year round.
The Best John player

Cons: Nothing
Greatest Bat Trev Dawg player
Pros: This is an overall great bat that you should end up getting.
Cons: Price
Easton Mako BBCOR Ryan Peterson player
Pros: This bat is so good. I have not used it in real game, just in the batting cage with baseballs. First of all the grip is amazing. The vibration when you hit it on the end is apparent, but it doesn't hurt at all, and believe me, I'm a wuss. ??
Cons: I haven't gotten to use it in a game yet, and also the price.
Jack Ripper The Hammer player
Pros: Hit 6 grand slams and drove in 27 runs in my first double header using this bat. What a great experience using this weapon of mass destruction.
Cons: Cost a little too much
Awsome mako Jc groat player
Pros: Great bat, it came in yesterday and I hit with it today. It takes a little while for it to get broken in. But great pop, hit, bonuses of the bat extremely hot.

Pros: AWESOME.amazing pop love it
Cons: none
outstanding adam haze player
Pros: amazing pop right out of the wrapping. very balenced swing and lets the small players get through the zone. no vibration , and has a massive sweet spot on the barrel
Cons: none. worth the price
best and lightest bbcor bat on the market esb608 player
Pros: this bat is all weighted in the handle so that allows the player to feel like that bat weight is close to nothing. sure this bat might have a little vibration when you hit it below or above the sweetspot but dont take that as a bad thing because when you square the ball right on the barrel on contact you will feel it and know its going a long way. this is the best bat ive ever owned and my two previous bats were a marucci elite bbcor and a voodoo bbcor and this bat blows both out of the water by far. ive never swung a bat like this one. i went 3-3 today with a double two singles and 3 rbis. you cant go wrong with this bat. well done easton
Cons: it is the most expensive bat to hit the market and 450$ is alot but in my opinion it is more than worth it
the cons are wrong jordan arcano player
Pros: love this bat never change it
Cons: the price is a price only fifty bucks more the cf6 and to the people that say (150 200 to break in :[ ) just a bout all composite bats take around 600 700 no matter what
amazed k money player
Pros: Such a good bat, no better bat ever made on the market since bbcor came out. you want this bat.
Cons: none, lol price is reasonable
or nah pb player
Pros: pop best bat out there
Cons: no bat is worth paying 300 dollars
good anonymous player
Pros: good bat overall
Cons: none
great bat swaggy.m player
Pros: I got this bat and it is amazing. Compared to any other BBCOR it is the lightest and well balanced bat on the market. There is no vibration and it has loads of pop right out of the wrapper.
Cons: Price
Best Bat On The Market. Easton makes the best bats eldobaseball player
Pros: great speed, big barrel, massive sweet spot, whip effect because of the cnx technology. this is a top of line bat
Cons: none
Player, Coach, Scout, and Parent. 30 years in BB. Sam coach
Pros: Probably an excellent bat. Easton offers quality equipment. That said, anyone can write a review on this forum, even if you haven't ever swung this bat. What you are seeing here are a lot of kids writing a review that haven't even picked up this bat stating how they went 4 for 4, 3 homeruns, and raised their average 100pts. Really?
Cons: Remember: It takes talent, proper coaching, hard work, and heart. Nothing will replace that, not even a magical bat. As often said: It's not the arrow, it's the Indian.
Price Johnny Stevonson player
Pros: The feel and balance is unmatched, color is cool but paint chips easy
Cons: The price is ridiculous no bat is worth 500 dollars
great Raph player
Pros: awesome pop great bat. best out there for sure
Cons: none
Outlaw
Pros: Its great I have hit 12 out
Cons:
The mako person player
Pros: Its an Easton bat that's about it
Cons: it dies very fast and does not have much pop, I would much rather have the voodoo overlord than this bat.
This bat is the best on the market Eldo player
Pros: Great pop, massive sweet spot, feels lighter and has a faster swing. it is all composit and has cxn technology
Cons: price is high
eldo
Pros: massive sweet spot, great pop, has a balanced feel(not top heavy), has a faster swing with a big barrel, all composite . overall this is a great bat and worth the money.
Cons: price
ehhhh Travis Finch player
Pros: Nice design. Good for showing off.
Cons: Not worth the money. Not nearly as much pop as I thought. Trying to currently sell mine for 300$
quality bat dylan res player
Pros: Its so light the bat control is awesome it hits lots of linedrives and a short breakin period
Cons: the barrel power feels the best at the end and the balls just dont carry with is but if you aremt the biggest kid on the field this bat will work for you
dinger derby dinger derby player
Pros: this bat is great the pop and feel is by far the best I have used and I have tried all the major bats. the feel is great its is well balanced
Cons: the grip is already been torn off in just a month its great grip just doesn't last.
mako ethan baseball player
Pros: Feels great when hitting. grip is great
Cons: nothing wrong with this bat
not worth 450$ dont know :/ player
Pros: balanced good
Cons: bat has no pop. every easton bat is over priced and awful dont understand how they keep selling these over priced bats smh
Great Bat. Off to a great start. DP parent
Pros: Son is playing 50/70 intermediate and BBCOR is required. After using drop 10 and going to a -3 my son was worried. He tried several bats and settled for the Mako 31/28. He's 5'1" and 100 lbs, it took some time in the batting cage to get comfortable. His coach of thee years watched closely. Game one, a single, double and triple for 6 RBIs. Make sure to loosen up, the pop of this bat is worth the big price.
Cons: None if ok with spending more.
Amazing Slugger player
Pros: Great balance and pop with a large barrel Worth the money!!! Great for any size player
Cons: Everybody wants to use it
mako matt player
Pros: the easton mako is no doubt a good bat and i would not think twice about getting it. if it was not 450 bucks. no bat is worth that much money, especially a brand that hasnt come out with anything fantastic lately. i just got a grab bag three bbcorr bats for 100 bucks and i got an exogrid plasma and marucci team. all three of those bats compete with the mako. anyone who is stupid enough to spend that much money hoping they are going to get results needs to get a wood bat and go to the batting cages and camp out there for a week. its not the arrow its the indian.
Cons: ...
Not enough Chris parent
Pros: My son feels like the bat is balanced.
Cons: This bat lacks pop. I hate to say it because my son is real down about it. Not to mention I just spent all the money on this bat. All the kids on his travel team have this bat. It is definitely the "in" bat to have right now. But it is now clear to me that his Overlord crushes the Mako.
Not enough pop for the money Chris parent
Pros: Balanced
Cons: Average pop
the player
Pros: looks nice
Cons: not good pop top heavy and ugly colors
Great bat worth the money Tom player
Pros: -Light -Huge Sweet Spot -Great Pop -Loud Ping
Cons: -Vibrates moderately
Asome Gavin player
Pros: I love it
Cons: The best
Gods bat Havin player
Pros: Such a good bat
Cons: First time in my game bing grand slam over the fence
Great Bat Noah player
Pros: This bat has amazing pop! First time I got up I crushed it over the center fielder head for a sand up triple! Very well balanced , huge sweet spot, great pop!
Cons: The only thing is a long break in period.
Easton took a step back with this model Bret Neuv player
Pros: Good swing weight and was pretty durable for me playing D3 college baseball.
Cons: Terrible feel compared to old S and XL series bats, sounds brutal and the pop is minimal. Doesnt jump of the bat at all.
Waste of Money Jay player
Pros: Looks nice
Cons: Get the XL1 if you are looking for an easton bat. this bat has no pop and takes forever to break in. I sold mine because i couldn't take it anymore
XL1 is better CD player
Pros: Has really good pop for a month or two and is very light
Cons: Lost pop within two months, completely dead, grip came off, marks easily.
Great Isaac player
Pros: Tons of pop. Sounds like an angel. If used correctly the barrel stays in the zone way longer. Great bat
Cons: Price
AMAZING Paul U. player
Pros: You can drive the ball if you are a power hitter or hit for contact, Best of both words between the speed series and Power series.
Cons: Break in time (150 swings)
OMG THIS BATTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Frank player
Pros: It's cool
Cons: To heavy
Best Easton Dylan player
Pros: Last year I was in 8th grade and used Xl1 -5 which was a great bat. This year since I'm a little small for a freshmen I tried using the S1 for the first half of the season, that was a decent bat but I found that if I didnt hit the ball off the sweet spot the ball would die. I got this bat and it was great. I went from hitting .120 in the first half with the S1 to .380 with the mako. This bat has a lot of pop for a bbcor and was a great in betweener because it had the balance of an S1 but the pop and forgiveness of the XL1 I would recommend this bat to anyone in high school regardless of strength, height, and weight.
Cons: The only thing I found was that since I'm a lefty it sort of messes up the grip of the bat because it separates the tape on the bottom. I retaped it and it was fine after that
baseball anonymous player
Pros: The bat is ok. It's nothing fantastic. The bat feels like every other Easton composite bat. Also the rubber on the handle falls off like every composite Easton bat
Cons:
Great Bat Anonymous player
Pros: good pop i have hit about 50 out jist messing around on a 300ft field and im only 14! by far the best bbcor bat ive wver hit with!
Cons: price and the white on the barrel
Mako Bison baseball player
Pros: Great pop
Cons: It's white gets dirty fast and scratches easy
Mako Is it worth it? MADtrojan2015 player
Pros: Has good pop takes a while to break in, well balanced with a large sweet spot. Little vibration felt when not hit in the sweet spot.
Cons: Not worth the money at all, I hit balls farther and harder with a nike thunder bbcor than this bat. The grip wears off fairly easily. My teammate has the s1 which has the same pop but BBCOR composite bats just aren't the same anymore as the old BESR bats were. ALUMINUM is the best option
MAKO POWER!!!!! Yamo player
Pros: -Pop -Power -Durability -No Vibration -My Best/Favorite Bat
Cons: -Cost -Grip -Paint Chips -Long Break In Time
Just ordered Bomb city player
Pros: Can't wait for it to come in have used my friends in the past great pop
Cons: I ordered this on a Thursday and I got the 2 day shipping I was kinda upset that I just spent 15$ on shipping when I was told I wasn't getting the bat ttil Monday and I tracked to see where iit was and it's 3 hours away from my house.. so I recommend if your gonna get 2 day shipping don't do it on Thursday or Friday ..
NO. Player player
Pros: Feels great, for a contact hitter. Hit about three or four home runs. Which is terrible for me.
Cons: Sweet spot is about two inches, but if you hit the ball in the exact spot at the exact time at the exact angle, the ball will go so far you probably wouldn't be able to see it. And the paint chips incredibly easy .
2014 easton mako bbcor: bb14mk Kobe player
Pros: no vibration
Cons: no pop. ball comes off bat soft.
This bat is AMAZING Jake player
Pros: Amazing pop Great feel Feels light Great grip Looks awesome
Cons: Paint scratches easy Gets dirty fast because it is white
Terrible bat Robert player
Pros: Nothing
Cons: This bat was terrible from the beginning. In my first game the bat dented and cracked after one foul ball.
great bat right out of the wrapper Chris Rodriguez player
Pros: My bat came in 30 minutes before i left to my high school summer league games and i used it in my first at bat and it was hot right out of the wrapper great swing weight a lot lighter than any other bbcor i've swung
Cons: It's still a bbcor soo i doesnt have amazing pop like a big barrel bat does but still a great bat
Terrible bat Sarum player
Pros: With this bat I hit 0 homeruns, I struck out 80 times and had 0 RBI, you should get this bat
Cons: Overpriced, no pop, too heavy
Awesome Shirley Ulrich parent
Pros: My son went 3 for 3 with 2 homers and 1 double it is the best bat he has had
Cons: None yet
Best Bat Yet Ryan player
Pros: Extremely light with the best of the XL series and the Speed series. I extremely like this bat better than the cf6 because of the swing speed and the amazing amount of pop!
Cons: None
my favorite bat Matt D player
Pros: There is not enough good to say about this bat. I got it a couple of weeks ago and so far I've hit mostly BP. The mako is one of the most balanced bats I've ever swung. Plus, the sweet spot is huge. It really reminds me of the old BESR bats. To add, the grip is great, the sounds is that classic composite ping, there is little vibration on off-center hits, the graphics are sick, and the swing speed is amazing. I cant wait to drop some bombs with this bat in summer ball. Definitely a great bat. Pitchers will fear you if you step into the box with this shark!
Cons: I can't find a single con with the mako
Bat review The natur eboy player
Pros: It didn't break right away
Cons: It snapped in half the second swing
An excellent and well constructed baseball bat! Bono Maldonado player
Pros: Feels very light in your hands making it easy to swing. It has tremendous pop and it will remind you of how the BESR bats performed. You will definitely want to purchase this bat!
Cons: Everyone on your team will want to use your bat; however, it is designed for individual usage only per the warranty. The grip can use a little more re-enforcement to make it more durable.
AWESOME b rode player
Pros: bought it right around wen it first came out i love it is the no doubt lightest bbcor there is plus it has a big barrel plus it is so durable i use it so much and i havn t seen one paint chip yet
Cons: none
Great bat Nah ow player
Pros: I already hit 6 home run with it 10 triple awesome pop worth the pop better 2013 mako by far heavy so you need to choke up
Cons: For power hitter contact try the s1
not worth it baseball player player
Pros: light swing and good for bunting
Cons: not Lot of pop way to much money i love easton but i dont like the mako i wasted. alot of money but i returned. it and bought the 2014 xl1 for 199 best bat i ever got
Great bat Tater player
Pros: This bat was amazing in bp today. I hit fantastic. Its hot and has a good size sweetspot. Little vibration on misshits. Great bat
Cons: Feels just like the xl1. But to me they both feel balanced and my 2013 velo(another great bat) is end loaded
Easton mako, overall feel Noah the bat dude player
Pros: I have honestly never felt a more perfect bat like this one. The sweet spot is not only huge, the bat speed is also like no other!!! The first at bat I had with this masterpiece, I hit a triple. Easton did a great job on this!
Cons: Nothing other than if you don't like the color orange!!!
good bat not 450$ ItYourBoy player
Pros: the bat had some pretty good pop, and it held up nicely
Cons: it just wasnt the bat for me. it was almost to balance and i couldnt barrel up a ball. im not saying its a bad bat, im saying for me it just wasnt the tight fit
Best feeling bat i have ever used. Joe player
Pros: -Light swing weight -If I have to break this bat in then i cant wait to see what kind of pop this bat will have because it was pretty hot out of the box -Haven't felt a stinger with this bat. -Looks sick -Massive sweet spot
Cons: -grip is a little slippery to me so i recommend batting gloves. -I don't trust the connection piece but it is holding up nicely.
Very Light With A Large Barrel Kenny player
Pros: Light for a BBCOR with lots of Pop
Cons: price
Great bat Brodie player
Pros: I got the 31/28 and it feels so light in your hands because of how balanced it is. The bat is unbeleavible I would defiantly recommend it to any one getting their first BBCOR bat because of how light it feels, I'm very small for my age I'm 14 years old 5'4" and 105lbs but I can get this bat around with no problem. It's defiantly a great bat for anyone who is in between a contact hitter and a power hitter.
Cons: Long break in time
Mako john player
Pros: It is an amazing bat with some of the best pop out of any bat. I struggled with power because I am undersized, but with this bat I have not. It feels fast through the zone like an S1, but when you make contact it feels like an XL. It also gives you the confidence that you need at the plate. It is worth the money buy it.
Cons: A little vibration off the inside of the bat, but nothing that should deter you from getting this bat
amasing big jon player
Pros: the best bat i have owned my first hit was a grand slam ive had it for a week and i have 4 homeruns and 6 doubles
Cons: i cant find one
The MAKO Jackson Williams player
Pros: This bat is awesome I will be buying another one so i can use it in the future. This bat is so well balanced and has amazing pop.
Cons: Fairly expensive but worth it. Grip deteriorates fairly quickly. paint chips and cap of bat starts to look bad. But i would recommend this bat for any type of hitter.
Not Bad DeMarini Freak player
Pros: I had a chance to swing a mako during summer tournaments this year. AMAZING POP. Very fast to the zone and feels about 2 oz lighter than it is.
Cons: Vibrates on anything not in the middle of the sweet spot.
Its the man behind the bat t player
Pros: i have swung the mako in games and practices and is a great bat with great POP (hold it down) and little vibration
Cons: I'm going to make this review short and sweet if you don't make contact the mako isn't going to do you any thing i do like it however good luck:T
Great Bat Court player
Pros: Overall great feel, no vibration, and easily one of the most balanced bats I've ever used
Cons: None
Nothing Special Kale player
Pros: For the price, there are not pros.
Cons: This bat is just an overpriced BBCOR bat. Nothing special. Hate to say it, but I'm going back to my Rawlings VELO from last year. Maybe it's me, but I prefer the feel of the VELO, and it seems to be a little more forgiving (bigger sweet spot). Really disappointed that I paid so much for this bat. I feel like a sucker. Don't believe the marketing hype.
All hyped up Davis player
Pros: Decent pop if you hit it perfectly; looks cool.
Cons: Grip comes off after the first week; Terrible pop everywhere but the dead center; Even when you hit one hard, the bat feels hollow and dead. To expensive for the quality.
Best bat I have ever owned Jacob Dixon player
Pros: Great amount of pop for how light the bat is. Insanely fast swing speed. Great for every hitter. Has a massive barrel, even if you don't hit the ball on the sweet spot, it still goes far and there is no vibration. I really like this bat because i can feel the ball more and tell where i'm hitting the ball on the bat, without the vibration. Design looks great.
Cons: The only con i can think of is; the paint is not the best as it can scratch and there are tiny div its in it after hitting a ball hard, but it's no big deal.
Nick Sabatini nick sabatini player
Pros: The bat is great. Me and many of my friends have used it and it has great pop. On top of great pop, it also has very good felling when you swing it!!!!!!!!
Cons: None
dingers dingerboy player
Pros: Iam 9 for 10 with 8 dingers so far good bat
Cons: too good
BEST BBCORD BAT S FANELLI player
Pros: GREAT BAT FEELS AMAZING BEST BAT ON MARKET TO THIS DAY
Cons: FAT GRIP (CHANGE VERY EASY)
jjj baseball kid player
Pros: Great balance Great pop Easy break in
Cons: Grip falls apart Everybody wants to use it I have 2 games left in my season and I bought this bat at the beginning of the season and it is already starting to feel dead, wish it would have lasted another year, probably going to switch to an axe next year, my advice is if you buy a Mako don't let anybody use it because it will not last nearly as long
Take Care of It! Damien player
Pros: Very good bat. It swings extremely light and has good pop to it. Has no vibration whatsoever. Great for guys looking for base hits. If you're looking for dingers, I'd go with the XL1.
Cons: As far as durability goes, this isn't one of Easton's best showcases. The paint chips very easily if you're not careful with it. It shouldn't be too bad if your no throwing it around the dugout, into fences, etc. It marks extremely easy, though.
Perfect for contact hitters. Preston Germer player
Pros: This bat has decent pop and fast bat speed but for power hitters I wouldn't recommend it. Though its not a power hitters bat I can still get some good rips out of it.
Cons: Took me over 400 hits with this bat to break in.
Nothing special. yung trap lord player
Pros: It looks good.
Cons: This bat is not remarkable at all. I would much rather use a voodoo or a trio. This bat is too technical and requires too many swings too break it in.
Freakin Juiced middle school player player
Pros: Basically the whole barrel is the sweet spit. There is no vibration at all. The ball jumps off the bat. this bat is balenced as well.
Cons: if you hit it on the end it doesnt go far but thats the case for all bats.
Worth a shot Joe B player
Pros: I'm 18 and have been using Easton's since I was 10. I've had great success in the past and this year. This year ive been using the yellow XL1 and have had great success but I feel that has lost its pop so time for a new bat. Ive only had this bat for 2days but off a tee the bat has great pop with only 70 swings in id say. You know what they say, "History repeats itself" and im hoping for just that
Cons: Cant 100% say that It will be the best bat as of now but you can only hope
Sucks Jaxon Miller player
Pros: Light through the zone
Cons: Cant carry the ball past the infield
2014 BBCOR Easton Mako Macon Pickard player
Pros: I got this bat used but it felt like i was swining a new 2020 bat or something. it was the greatest feeling bat ive ever swung and the balance and how solid it hits is amazing. greatly recommend this bat for any type of hitter.
Cons: Scratches and wears easy but usually easy to wipe off. still doesnt effect performance
GREAT BAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Jerry player
Pros: Great bat, giant sweet spot, AMAZING BALANCE. I don't know about the durability since I haven't had it for a very long time BUT it is a great legit bat and is well worth the price. P.S. I have the 2015 version but it is pretty much the same.
Cons: Not really any cons, except it sounds like an aluminum bat.
good bat Parker player
Pros: i have had this bat for a few months now, it has held up great and is a good bat with a HUGE barrel, it squares up almost anything you hit solid, now i have the torq, if you dont think the torq is a good idea, go with the mako
Cons: i wish it was orange like the small barrel, other than that, its great
Easton Mako Avery player
Pros: Balanced- nice grip- feels good
Cons: takes a while to break it in and goes dead very quickly
A MUST HAVE BAT!!!!! big poppa player
Pros: This bat is even all around and has great pop. My son has only had it a week and he is blasting everything. He has a home run his first at bat with it and hitting doubles and triples like nothing. He had his first over the fence Homer 3 days later. The ball shoots off the bat like a Canon. He's at an all time high and loves this bat.
Cons: He said there are no cons
good Dingan player
Pros: very equally rated. feels incredibly light in the hand. the barrel size is bigger than it looks you can really get away with jamming. the paintjob is really cool
Cons: the grip can get messed up easily.
Easton Mako Court player
Pros: Low MOI, all composite
Cons: doesn't have the feel that I was looking for
Not Worth the High Price Ken Strid parent
Pros: No bat sting.
Cons: Easton Mako BBCOR simply does not hit as far as as the lighter Mako bats. My son has used -9 and -7 Mako bats and thought they were awesome. Now that he's 14, he's required to use a -3 BBCOR. I had to get him another bat, the Easton S3. The heavier BBCOR Mako does not perform as well as his BBCOR Easton S3. My kid blasts the ball with the S3. He just hits lazy fly balls to the outfielder's gloves with the Mako. I don't know if composite bats at -3 perform as well as -3 aluminum. He wants to like this bat because of his past success with a Mako. But it just is not the best BBCOR option. His team mates agree when they have tried both of his bats in batting practice. The Easton S3 hits harder and further.
Great bat Eric W. player
Pros: Great pop
Cons: None that I can think of
MAKO Hits Dingers Bryce humphreys player
Pros: This bat has done well for me. i have used it for 3 years now and it still has a lot of pop. Its feels so good in your hands and is is balanced very well its not end loaded. IT HITS DINGERS!!!
Cons: The paint chips a little.
Its alright Kenny Mckeon player
Pros: has a great feel and great sound
Cons: had for only a few months before it broke. it took one inside fastball then it broke on the inside
Best BBCOR bat on the market!!! SD player
Pros: This bat is amazing!!! It has wonderful pop and sounds nice. It also has nice swing speed and a massive barrel. This bat is probably the best BBCOR bat that you can buy.
Cons: None. Great bat.
