Pros: This bat has the most pop of any bat I have used. It feels in between the s1 and the xl1. Cons:My whole team wants to use it.

2014 Easton MAKO Youth Baseball Bat: YB14MK review by Fortheloveofthegame
Pros: The Mako feels more end loaded like the XL1. It virtually feels just like the XL1 but 1 ounce lighter. When my son hit both the Mako and XL1 on the sweet spot, the XL1 flew farther. My recommendation is that if you are strong enough to swing the XL1, get the XL1. If you need your bat a little lighter get the Mako or XL2 or XL3 to save some dough. If you need more swing speed, stick to the S Series. Cons:None. Great bat for the person that can't quite swing the XL1 but the S series is too light for.

I am 4'11" and weigh 90 lbs. What size bat should I get? What bat is good for me? I am a contact hitter.

Based on your height and weight, we suggest a 30" model in the 2014 Easton MAKO Youth Baseball Bat (YB14MK). The MAKO features a two-piece balanced design and is ideal for contact hitters.

My son is 5'1" and 95 lbs. He's currently been using the XL3 but looking to switch to Mako since he's a little behind on his swing. Do you recommend the Mako or should he use a different bat like the S1?

Both the Easton MAKO Youth (YB14MK) and the Easton S1 Youth (YB14S1) are great options and will increase your sons bat speed, the main difference between the two is that the MAKO will have a longer barrel than the S1.

I've heard that after the Majors division in Little League, that you have to use a big barrel bat, is that true?

After the majors division in Little League, the legal requirement is to use a bat incorporating a 2 5/8" barrel diameter. Therefore, the 2014 Easton MAKO Youth Baseball Bat: (YB14MK) would not be legal.
