2014 Easton XL3: SL14X35 Senior League 31/26 CoachSC coach
Pros: Great bat, Lots of pop. Bat is end loaded with weight more to the end of the bat. My son is 12 years old, 5' and 95 lbs. Did not have any problems moving to this bat from his Voodoo 30/21. Only other bat he liked more was the XL1 -5 but for the money you can go wrong with this bat.
Cons: The bat is yellow. Other then that nothing.
Bomb-Maker DC Baseball Dad parent
Pros: Bought this because the Voodoo doesn't come in a 30/25. Now we're glad! 13U player had no difficulty moving from a -8 balanced bat to this -5 bat. Noticed the end-load, but still thinks the XL3 swings smoothly. Hits the ball deep with this bat.
Cons: None so far. Teammates dig the bright yellow color, so not a con.
great kelvin dasilva player
Pros: great
Cons: great
tcu matt player
Pros: ok bat good pop good for bigger kids
Cons: long barrel is hard to get around wouldn't recommend for smaller guys
awesome george player
Pros: love the tape and feel of the bat in general. in my first game of 12u with this bat, i was 3 for 3 with a double a single and a walk off homerun. the rest of the season i led the team in almost every category except i tied with my teamate in homeruns. this bat has soooo much pop its unbelievable. i would recommend this bat to big kids who can actually get around with this bat.
Cons: this bat is yellow and if u dont get the bat around in time it will hit the handle which hurts a lot
Best big barrel bat for power hitters Jason S player
Pros: Honest review: This bat has the most pop of any other big barrel bat out there, the sweetspot is huge and the -5 gives it plenty of weight in the barrel to get a great feel on each hit. I have hit countless balls as far as 380 ft, farther than I have ever hit before. I still have not noticed a drop in performance or pop and it has been a year and a half since I bought it. I used it in two different leagues for a full season, both in games and in the cages, and many of my other teammates used it and it is still hitting bombs. I highly recommend this bat to any power hitter out there who wants to hit for more distance, regardless of what they have used in the past. I cannot say enough about how much I love this bat, it is amazing. Basically, if you are a power hitter looking for a big barrel bat, do not hesitate and think twice, just buy this bat NOW!
Cons: It cannot last longer than one full season of continuous use, but that is the new standard for all bats these days. The vibration is a noticeable issue, but I did not care about that at all because the pros of the XL3 completely outnumber the cons.
Great bat RBI 9 player
Pros: This bat has tons of pop. I swing it in a -5 32in 27oz. I was hitting bombs dead center well over 320ft and I'm only about 5'6 and weigh 115 pounds. This is probably the best bat I've had yet with much pop.
Cons: None
great bat 13u travel player player
Pros: Perfect feel lots of pop must buy
Cons: None
Easton xl3 2014 model Ethan Tay player
Pros: This bat is end loaded which is good if you have the strength to swing a heavy bat. If you are a contact hitter buy a bat in the speed series with Easton. But, for you power hitters don't think twice about getting this bat. It is definitely worth the price and I have never even thought about returning this bat. The -5 is probably best for a really big and strong 11u kid, a 12u kid that has power, and almost any 13u kid unless he or she isn't very strong. I have used this bat in the cage and in games for about a year, and it still has the tremendous pop it comes with.
Cons: None so far!
"THE BAT" Zach player
Pros: I've been a Easton Bat user going all the way back to T-Ball. No need changing now. This bat has tremendous pop & it feels really good in my hands. Other players on my team will be ordering soon.
Cons: None at this time.
Great!!!!! mike player
Pros: this bat has massive pop its the best bat i have ever had tons of pop great for power hitters
Cons: paint chips but mot a big deal
mike player
Pros: nothing
Cons: small sweet spot vibrates alot and its got no pop
xl3 carlos 14u player
Pros: this is the best bat i ever used!! I have hit homeruns as far as 320 feet and im only 5'6 120 lbs. I dont recomend this bad for small players. This bat is not for everyone
Cons: nothing.
HomeRunMachine
Pros: I completely love this bat! it has great pop and distance! I like to call it, "The Easton Banana"
Cons: none except that its not a mako lol
Cap popped off Steve parent

Cons: The cap popped off at the first hitting lesson after purchase. Returned it to Easton.
