Louisville Attack Swept Jackson coach
Pros: Great pop. Good bat speed. Feels great when you swing it. great bat overall.
Cons: Ugly design.
The talk on the ballfield TGeorge parent
Pros: We are so happy we purchased this bat for our 9yr old. It has given him so much confidence and he is smashing the ball. Everybody wanted to know what bat he was using when he sent the ball flying deep into the outfield multiple times. Excellent pop, and by far the best I've seen out of all the other bats used this season so far by our rec team and travel team.
Cons: none
It is such a good bat! 8 The Great player
Pros: It's amazing! Great pop! Cool look! Over all good bat! You should be proud L.V.S!
Cons: More color choices would be nice.
Surprise choice SM parent
Pros: For my son's 12th birthday I let him choose among three bats: Easton S2, Demarini CF6 and the Assault. The Assault was not a bat he had asked about, but I included it in the mix only because of the 30-day trial. I didn't think he'd choose the Assault. I wouldn't have been shocked if he never tried it. But he loved it from the first swing. In fact, he never seriously considered the others. It has great, great balance and a nice, big sweet spot. The fat barrel sure makes it easy to square up on the ball.
Cons: I'm nervous about durability. When you look at the bat up close it really isn't as nicely made as the CF6.
Baseball Dad Baseball Dad parent
Pros: My son is an 11 year old, pretty big kid and when he hits it he hits it. Great pop right out of the box, he loves it!
Cons: None so far , just pricey but you pay if he's going to play!
Hittin Bombs with the Attack HTT parent
Pros: My son has the Attack and and a Voodoo. The Attack is more balanced while the Voodoo is end loaded. He seems to be able to get the Attack around faster and hitting the ball over the heads of center fielders. The bat has plenty of pop and he doesn't complain about vibrations at all. This bat is good for both contact and power hitters.
Cons: None so far. Since the barrel is a composite, the sound of the bat hitting the ball sounds more dull. Not the ping you get from an aluminum bat. But as long as he keeps hitting well with the Attack, I don't care what sound it makes.
Deadest bat in the park John C parent
Pros: None
Cons: Do you wonder why not many players use these? Because they are the deadest bat in the park on any given weekend. Small sweetspot. Ball comes off dead. You can hear the weak thud and vibration from left field. No ball exit speed.
BEST BAT EVER Evan player
Pros: My dad got me this bat since I wasn't hitting very well I`ve only hit a few times with it and it is awesome so far when you hit the ball you cant even feel it and you know you just hit a bomb you just know it no vibration great pop great grip and great overall
Cons: this bat has 1 con for me we got this bat and after a few hits the rubber thing by the barrel slid down and came off we put it back on but I don't no if the bat was not made right or if it is supposed to not be glued on otherwise best bat ever
the bat the coach coach
Pros: I bought this for my 12u team and they love it . so far 4 kids have hit a homerun with it.
Cons: when you make contact it sounds dull

GREAT BAT!!! JOSH parent
Pros: SMOKING HOT BAT RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX! BOUGHT IT FOR MY 9 YEAR OLD AND HE LOVES IT ALONG WITH MOST OF HIS TEAM MATES. GREAT POP AND FEEL TO THE BAT. MY SON WOULD RATHER USE THIS OVER THE EASTON MAKO "NOT THE CHEAP MAKO". AS FAR AS THE SOUND OF THE BAT, IF YOU USE A COMPOSITE BAT, THATS THE SOUND YOU WILL GET. I LIKE THE SOUND MYSELF!
Cons: NONE AS OF YET
Great Bat Grant player
Pros: this bat is very balance but has a little heavier of an end... im 6'1,135 pounds, and 16 y/o... i switched to this bat from an old vexxum i had... second game i used it on the hit that i beleive broke it in... i drove it over the left feilders head about 15 feet short of the 310ft. fence... great bat.. and it breaks in considerably fast
Cons: none

Decent Bat for a little while. Anonymous player
Pros: It has.a lot of pop coming oit of the box but it loses pop as you go along.

Dead already Moving to a one-piece parent
Pros: Um... cool graphics
Cons: My 8 year old got it for Christmas and it's already dead. You can hear the thud when you tap the knob or barrel on the ground. As for live hitting - the ball just doesn't travel.

About the Brand
In 1842, J. Frederick Hillerich emigrated with his family from Baden-Baden, Germany to the United States. Eight years before, the 1834 Book of Sports had made its debut as the nation's first publication covering baseball. But when he arrived in Baltimore, J. Frederick Hillerich would never have dreamed of the future impact his family would have on America's favorite pastime.
After a short while, the Hillerichs moved to Louisville, where J. Fred started a woodworking shop in 1856. Two of his sons, Adam and John Andrew "Bud" were born in the United States and would later join their father in his business. By 1864 "J.F. Hillerich, Job Turning" was in operation and filled orders for businesses by custom-turning everything from balusters to bedposts.
The firm thrived, and by 1875 the little woodworking shop employed about 20 people. In 1880 Bud Hillerich, who was an amateur baseball player, became an apprentice in his father's shop. Young Bud made his own baseball bats along with bats for several of his teammates.
The debate over the origins of the first bat continues to generate controversy among baseball enthusiasts, but the younger Hillerich was most certainly involved in getting his father's business involved with what would become the company's signature item. According to company legend, the first bat was turned by Bud for Pete "The Old Gladiator" Browning in 1884. Browning was a star on Louisville's professional American Association team - the Eclipse. On a spring afternoon Bud, then seventeen, witnessed Browning break his favorite bat. Bud offered to make a bat for his hero, and Browning accepted. After the young wood shop apprentice lathed a quality stick from white ash, according to the story, Browning got three hits with it in the next game.
Louisville Slugger gloves are worn by more pitchers in Major League Baseball than any other glove.
