Overall a fantastic bat! ATX_12 player

Pros: The grip is perfect for any player. You can really tell when you hit it good. The ball bounces off the bat with amazing force. This bat is the closest feel to the old bats I have ever had. I love and highly recommend any player of any skill level to get this bat. The bat is a very light swing weight and is very balanced.

good mom572 parent

Pros: My son likes the feel of the bat.

Cons: After just one batting practice, the grip has already started coming apart and we are going to have to re-grip it. : ( Would have rated it higher if that hadn't happened after only the first time he used it.

Marucci ONE Sylvester Auzenne coach

Pros: My son will be making the move to high school baseball next school year and will need move from a -5 to a -3. We wanted a bat that was similarly engineered in size and weight to keep the adjustment time to a minimum and allow him to maximize the transition. The Marucci ONE is perfect for him. Because we selected a 32/29, his swing is consistent and the anti-vibration quality has boosted his confidence.

Nice Bats for the price Pete V. parent

Pros: My son has been using Marucci One bats last three years. Seems hit very well with them and has no complaints. I up his bat length every year one inch as he grows. The two back pack is great. He uses one for game and the other for practice.

Cons: Grip has a tendency to wear, but not a major issue.

Questions and Answers

Have a question about the Marucci ONE BBCOR Baseball Bat: MCB1B Blue? Ask our team of experts and they will respond within 24 hours.

Would you recommend this bat or the 2014 Black for a sophomore in high school that's a gap hitter with average pop? Mac Pender
Both the 2014 Black and the 2014 Marucci ONE BBCOR: MCB1B Blue Adult bats will have very balanced swing weights and feel great in the hands of a high school hitter.
Brandon
What difference is there (besides color/graphic) between the 'One' and 'Team' model from 2013? gMan
The 2014 Marucci One was re-engineered from the ground up to be a completely new design. The One features an entirely new shape profile inspired by Marucci's Big League Board of Directors and the barrel walls have been optimized and kept ring-free to provide hitters with the most responsive sweet spot on the market since Marucci's legendary CAT 5 Squared. The knob taper profile of the One has also been reshaped and now mimics the most preferred professional shape.
Aubrey
I'm 5' 8" and I am a power hitter, mainly just a DH, should I go with the Marucci ONE or the 2014 DeMarini Vexxum? justin18
The 2014 Marucci ONE BBCOR: MCB1B Blue Adult is going to be a one piece all alloy design which is preferred by power hitters.
Jason
Which is better? The Marucci One or the Black? Jj130
Both bats are high-performing options from Marucci, but they feature different designs that different types of players prefer. The One is best suited for gap to gap hitters with occasional homerun power while the Black is often preferred by players with above average power.
Mac
How top heavy is this bat compared to the Marucci Team? jacob
The 2014 Marucci ONE BBCOR: MCB1B Blue Adult is more balanced than the Marucci Team models.
John H
It is my first year of high school baseball. I am a gap to gap hitter and can hit for power. What is the best bat I should get? Pvcatcher
The 2014 Marucci ONE BBCOR: MCB1B Blue Adult is a terrific bat for gap to gap hitters with occasional power.
Jason
Does this bat have a longer life span than the Marucci Team ? Projectile
The AZ3000 Alloy has been since it was used in the Team. The 2014 Marucci ONE BBCOR: (MCB1B) should offer a longer bat life, but it's impossible to estimate the life of any bat. Like the Team, the ONE Is also backed by a 12 month warranty through Marucci.
Mac
How does this bat compare to the Rawlings 5150? Is it balanced like the 5150? I hit for contact and a lot of line drives. Not for power. Would you recomend it? thanks Mike
Yes. Both the 2014 Marucci ONE BBCOR (MCB1B) Blue Adult and the 2014 Rawlings 5150 VELO BBCOR (BBV3) Adult will have a balanced swing weight. Both are One-piece alloy designs and offer full 12 month manufacturer warranties. Either of these bats would be a great choice.
Aaron
Would you recommend the 2014 marucci one bat or the 2014 demarini voodoo? for high school player Ian
The 2014 Marucci ONE BBCOR (MCB1B) is a balanced one piece aluminum model. The Voodoo is end loaded and has a composite handle with an aluminum barrel. If you are a contact hitter, or if you prefer a balanced bat, I would recommend the Marucci. If you are more of a power hitter who prefers an end load, I would go with the DeMarini.
Justin R.
Is the Marucci One BBCOR: MCB1B Blue Adult approved for both Nations and USSSA competition? fastlane1957
The Marucci One BBCOR (MCB1B) is BBCOR certified and should therefore be approved in most competition, leagues, and tournaments.
Gary T.

Is there a difference between the blue model and the black model? eddy
The only difference between the Marucci ONE BBCOR Baseball Bat: MCB1B Blue and the Marucci ONE BBCOR Baseball Bat: MCB1 Black is going to be the cosmetics. Other than that, these two bats are the exact same.
John
Why are these bats so inexpensive. This honestly puts some doubt in my mind. I am tempted to pay more for one bat to get higher quality? Indykp
The Marucci ONE BBCOR Baseball Bat (MCB1B Blue) are discounted, not because they are a bad bat or of less quality, but because of the price we were able to purchase them at, the current stock we still have in the warehouse, and because this bat is a closeout item - meaning we need to clear inventory for the new Marucci model. Looking at the product reviews, only complaint has been with the grip tape.
Cameron
What is the difference between this Marucci ONE and the Cat 5? Moosh
This Marucci ONE BBCOR Baseball Bat (MCB1B Blue) is a single-piece, all-alloy bat. As well it has a profile modeled off of the best selling Marucci wood bats. The Marucci Cat 5 is also a single-piece, all-alloy bat that features AZ3000 alloy like this Marucci ONE. However, the Cat 5 also has anti-vibration technology on it to limit the vibration getting to player's hands. Overall, the bats are pretty similar overall.
