Pros: It has a nice drop to allow younger batters use a longer bat at less weight.
Cons: No pop whatsoever - my son LOST 30+ feet when we moved to this bat from his 3+ year old Easton. We used it for cage work to try and get it loosened up - no luck. He went back to his old bat, and is having fun.
Pros: If the bat is broken in properly there is a noticeable difference in "pop." My 6-yr-old had the ball screaming off this bat this past season. A 7-yr-old on the team used it now-and-then and absolutely crushed the ball with this bat.
Cons: My biggest issue initially was the bat weight, which was 2oz. over. It was actually -9.5, not -11.5. The weight verification and return process was way too long to do anything about it because the season was close to starting....
Pros: This bat enabled my 6 yr old to increase the length of his bat 1 inch from 25-26" with only a .5 oz increase in weight. His swing speed was not affected from the needed increase in bat size. The sweet spot was slightly larger than his previous bat. This bat increased the distance and speed of his hits without any extra time getting used to a new bat. I like the sound of the bat better than his metal bat. At this price, it is well worth the added performance it has given .
Cons: None that has presented itself so far.

About the Brand
During the past few years, serious softball players have looked to Miken Sports for bats that provide the highest levels of performance and durability. Our relentless focus on both technology and the demands of players has made Miken the most demanded line of softball bats today.
Although composites are the latest trend in softball bats, the technology has been the core of Miken's success since the company's inception. Miken pioneered the modern high-performance composite softball bat in 1998 and has pushed the limits with every model since. No other bat company has driven innovation as hard, and the results are indisputable. Look around. If a player is serious about softball, they are most likely swinging a Miken bat.
The success of Miken Sports has been driven by two forces - innovation and a passion for delivering what players demand. The results are obvious. Players have decided that composites are the future for bats, and no one does composite like Miken.
