Pros: My 13U player has been using this Rip-It for winter batting practice. It's excellent for the transition from -10 to -8. He noticed the increase in weight, but the bat is so nicely balanced that the extra weight doesn't bother him. He has been hitting solid line drives with this bat -- it has great pop.
Cons: The white grip gets dirty quickly.
Pros: Great Pop and Great Feel.... It's one of the best bats out there..... I recommend this bat to anyone!
Cons: White Grip!!!!
Pros: pop, balance, no vibration
Cons: no
Pros: very forgiving.. great balance.. best bat my son has ever swung.. We had some questions and call Rip-it customer service they were incredibly nice and helped us tremendously, and you could tell stand behind their product. I'm now a Rip-it man..
Cons: absolutely NONE
Pros: Balanced, swing speed is great, grip is awesome, no sting. HUGE Sweet Spot.
Cons: no negatives
Pros: We just got this bat for our 10 year old son. We bought a drop 8 as a bat for him to grow into and use in BP, not necessarily to use as his primary bat. After two BP sessions, he's definitely going to try it in the season now. Our son has always liked slightly heavier bats (he also has an Easton XL2 and a Rawlings Velo). He says this bat swings better than the Easton and feels like it has a little more pop than the velo. Pros: the bat is very well balanced and has nice pop. It swings lighter than the weight would suggest (weight is accurate). It's also a subjective thing, but the bat sounds nice as well. Not as loud of a ping as the Rawlings Velo (a very distinctive sound), not the dull thud of some other bats.
Cons: It comes with white bat tape. It looks good out of the box, but dirties quickly. So far, that's about it. We can't comment on durability yet, but will soon.
Pros: this bat has tons of pop right out of the wrapper I see lots of homeruns this season
Cons: only thing is the white grip
Pros: Looks good feels good lots of pop
Cons: none
Pros: Great balance and pop out of the wrapper. 30-22 swings/feels like a shorter length minus 10. Can't beat the warranty, they stand behind their product.
Cons: None
Pros: First word out of sons mouth was the great grips. Second was it was well balanced. The balls were flying fast to the back of the batting gage.
Cons: none yet. Have used it in 4 practices
Pros: Great bat and high quality. My son loves it. He is 12u player and his whole team is planning to buy one.
Cons: none
Pros: Great pop and is great quality
Cons: none
Pros: I went to Demo days and hit a lot of bats but not the Rip-It. My dad decided to order the Rip-It and try it because of the 30 day return policy. This bat has an awesome grip and feels great. I can not wait for the season to start.
Cons: Nothing
Pros: This is a great bat. I am really impressed with the comfort of the grip and the lack of vibration after contact. The ball jumps off of the bat. I would recommend it.
Cons: None
Pros: Pop is good and ball jumps off bat well.
Cons: sime vibration but noyjing serious or major.
Pros: Really like the grip and it swings lighter than I expected with a -8. Also great pop when I first used it!
Cons: None!
Pros: My son plays high level baseball and decided on a new bat for this year. He went with a 31 23oz which is heavier than what he used in the past. The bat is very balanced and actually felt lighter than his previous bat. I was very happy with the pop as the ball jumped off the bat. With playing in the north and practicing indoors with temps in the 60's he had no issue with bees in the hands.
Cons: Don't know the durability until we get farther into the season.
Pros: Like the balance and how light it feels. More pop than the Easton I have been using. Also soft grip.
Cons: N/A
Pros: My son LOVES this bat! The balance is totally awesome and the pop it delivers is great! So far the BEST bat he has used!
Cons: ABSOLUTELY NONE
Pros: This bat felt good as soon as I came in contact with the grip! This is the best bat I have ever swung! RIP IT has done an AWESOME job with this one! I won't be returning it! LOVE IT
Cons: NONE
Pros: This bat has great grip, a good sweet spot, & lots of pop. It is also a nice looking bat that really keeps its shine. I think this bat has already helped my hitting this year.
Cons: none
Pros: Bought for my son's birthday after he tested out a teammates during a winter practice session. In his words, 'this bat is sweet'! He really likes the grip and the pop is amazing. Can't wait to see the results on the field.
Cons: None yet
Pros: U12 Travel Player using bat for first time this season. Love the look and feel. The bat has excellent pop and seems lighter than what it is. We are hooked on Rip It!
Cons: End cap rattle....bat replaced within 2 days. No problems since. Great Customer Service.
Pros: This is our first drop 8 bat. Since it's so balanced my son doesn't notice the extra weight until he sees how the ball jumps off of it. He also loves "padded" grip
Cons: None
Pros: Great pop, minimal vibration, excellent balance, and does not have an annoyingly loud ring when you hit the ball. He has used it for 6 games and practices now, no issues as of yet.
Cons: The black bat shows wear and scratches quickly. The white grip tape also shoes the dirt. Does not effect the performance.
Pros: The bat has really good pop.
Cons: The bat dented the very first time my son used it in a game. We were told by a local retailer that this bat dents easily but took a chance on it. Wish the bat could be better made.
Pros: My son has used this bat for about 10-12.13 years old.. He likes the handling of it and the pop he is getting from it. As a lead off man he does a lot of bunting as well as hitting away and days he likes the grip also.
Cons: None as of yet
Pros: My son loves the feel of the ball popping off of his bat, and I love the fact that he is lowering his drop from a -10 to a -8 and getting ready for the next level of baseball.
Cons: Teammates wish they had this bat.
Pros: I love this bat !!! I have the 2014 30/22 and the ball jumps off it .Sweet spot bigger than my TPX and i don't get the vibration in the handle on my miss hits. Love the way the grip feels !!!
Cons: The grip is great, i just wish it wasn't white
Pros: Grip is good
Cons: Cracked and all the other bats we have hit 30 yards further.
