2014 Worth Legit Fastpitch Softball Bat: FPLG10 review by Robert Harrigan
Pros: My daughter has had this bat for a few months now and LOVES it. Lots of pop, great durability and she swings it with loads of confidence. Cons:If I had any complaint it would be the white grip. It doesn't stay white for long.

Can you break-in this bat using baseballs?

We would not recommend using baseballs to break-in the 2014 Worth Legit (FPLG10) Fastpitch. The core of baseballs and softballs are different and this will cause more damage to the bat

I use the red/white version of the Legit (Jeff Hall signature edition) in men's league slow pitch. That bat has amazing pop, feel and I love the sound it makes at contact. Is the fastpitch version basically the same materials and construction as the slow pitch version (obviously not end loaded like the red/white being a balanced bat). If not the same construction, how is it different?

The 2014 Worth Legit (FPLG10) uses the same composite material as the Jeff Hall Legit bat. Both two-piece composite materials and will be very high performing.

Product Description

New for 2014! Worth continues to prove that they are THE fastpitch experts with the release of the Legit fastpitch softball bat. The Legit features a two-piece 100% composite construction with an ultra-thin handle and Worth's Flex Fifty Technology. This technology gives the Legit more flex and whiplash through contact for increased power. Inside, this bat revolves around the Legit Power Core that eliminates waste and voids in the composite to create a leaner, higher performing barrel than ever before. About Worth

Worth Worth, Inc. can trace its beginning back to the year 1912, when George Sharp Lannom, Jr. purchased a tannery in Tullahoma, Tennessee and established the Lannom Manufacturing Company. Initially, the firm tanned leather for harnesses and horse collars they manufactured. However, as the automobile grew in popularity, the demand for the company's harnesses and collars declined, so Lannom shifted its manufacturing resources toward production of leather covered baseballs and softballs under the "Worth" brand, and men's leather dress gloves under the "Craig" brand.
