Pros: My son was invited to "Bat Wars" yesterday by a sports store owner. Basically he hit every 2015 bat. The CF7 was hot out of the wrapper. It was line drive after line drive. He did hit one out with the new Easton...but he said he couldn't feel the shots he was hitting with CF7. And they were HOT.
Cons: I need to see him hit it more than 30 times so I know about durability.
Pros: This bat made an immediate impact. I am very impressed and one happy coach and dad….!!!! Just about the entire team uses this bat now. Great bat!
Cons: I haven't found one yet!
Pros: Great pop. Excellent balance. No sting. Mako and XL1 users on our team were skeptical about the performance of a Demarini until they saw the hitting display put on with it. Gonna be a sleeper among all the Makos in the duggouts this year.
Cons: Color wears off grip.
Pros: ok
Cons: lots
Pros: at a batting demo today and my 10 year old loced this bat. started with the 30inch and wound up at 29. he said there was no sting or vibration. i went into day thinking i would buy a 2014 model but he hit the snot out if the ball.
Cons: we shall see about durability but his 2013 demarini he hit with las season still has life after 50 games.
Pros: Great balance and excellent pop.
Cons: None
Pros: this is great all aroung bat including great balance, pop, durability and vibration. i would recommend this bat to any baseball player.
Cons: none
Pros: amazing best ive ever seen it has somuch pop best demarini ever no vibration at all the ball flys and is a much better bat then the cf6
Cons: best bat
Pros: great pop and really under rated also ballanced great it feels light in my hands
Cons: needs grippier grip
Pros: best bat ever
Cons: none
Pros: I had a easton S1 and a mako and they only lasted me one year I've had this bat since it came out and it isn't even close to being worn out the bat looks cool it feels light and it has given me so many GREAT hits. Overall best bat ever.
Cons: Absolutely none!
Pros: The drop 11 has helped speed up my Grandson's swing and has produced more solid hits.
Cons: In order to get a lighter bat, I needed to go to the smaller barrel. His league allows a 2 5/8 inch barrel.
Pros: amazing pop, great feel, absolutly no vibration, love bat.
Cons: none
Pros: my son has had this bat for a year and it is by far the best bat he has ever had. he had makos and this bat gives him more distance, in his last 5 games he had 4 home runs 5 doubles and a triple. this is a awsome bat buy it now
Cons: none
Pros: Pop!!! Hit5 home runs
Cons: None
Pros: Just bought the 29" 18oz. size for my 8yr old son who was over-pulling the ball and in need of an longer/slightly heavier upgrade. Noticed a huge difference the first day it arrived when we hit the cage. Ball jumps off the bat much faster and he's been hitting solid line drives. Still in the break-in phase, but excited to see the full potential of this bat once it's warmed up and my son's more comfortable with it. Nice to see Demarinis standing out in dugout full of orange and green Eastons.
Cons: Bat is heavier than the advertised 18oz. Broke out the food scale and the CF7 weighs 20.4oz. I can notice at practice and in the cage after a bucket of balls that he starts getting tired and his usual consistent pull to left field starts to shift towards center/right. Thankfully, a couple kids on his team have the lighter Demarini Voodoo that he uses in games when the pitcher's throwing gas. A truer weight stamp would be better.
Pros: 10 year old loves the bat, he has had many big hits and HR's with it
Cons: price
Pros: -No Vibration -Great Pop -Big sweet spot
Cons: -grip hard on hands
Pros: Great bat, good pop great feel, limited vibration to the hands.
Cons: Paint chipped off of the barrel from being hit so many times.
Pros: Purchased a 2015 Mako. Was a little too heavy so we purchased the CF7. Wow! In the All Stars he had 17 hits in 22 at bats and had a few that hit the top of the fence in center field. Now Im the worlds best dad. Awesome pop after breaking in. Another great Demarini product.
Cons: Absolutely none.
Pros: No vibration, good grips and pops off the bat well!!!
Cons: N/A
Pros: Haven't let my son use it yet.
Cons: Just received the 29/18 in mail. I put it on the scales and it is over 20 ounces. Not what the sticker says. Misleading people on the weights of these bats.
Pros: The bat has a lot of pop and is VERY balanced. I think its better than the mako!
Cons: NONE!
Pros: am a little guy and once i got this bat it made it look like i was not. I put blue lizard skins bat tape on it because the bat tape was not to good.
Cons: NOTHING
Pros: Great bat !
Cons: None yet
Pros: has ok pop
Cons: this bats barrel cracks real easy
Pros: this is absolutley the most balanced bat i have ever seen. its a super quick bat that smacks line drive after line drive after line drive after...u get picture. the ball comes of this thing hotter than any other bat on the market, ive seen em all. the eastons, maruccis, LS, you name it. the ball screams off this bat. HR's can be hit off this bat, but because of how balanced this bat is, its the cream of the crop when it comes to line drives. ive seen kids crank homers with tge end loaded eastons and then have trouble crankin em out with this until they get used the balance. but the ball without a doubt comes off the cf7 hotter than any easton, just without the lift an end loaded bat. but i do love this bat. the speed and pop of this bat is second to none
Cons: none really. just takes kids a little time to get used to how balanced this bat actually is.
Pros: THIS BAT IS A JEWEL RIGHT OUT OF THE GATE.. EXPLOSIVE POP!!
Cons: ALL THE KIDS WANT TO USE THE BAT SO PROBABLY WON'T LAST A SEASON.
Pros: good pop, very balanced, nearly no vibration.
Cons: I was moving my son up from 17oz to the 29" 18oz. his easton is a 17oz and on the scale it is 17.1oz. this bat is 18oz and on the scale it is 20.5oz. that is a massive discrepancy. 2.5oz above what it is stamped.
Pros: it has really good pop and not alot of sting
Cons: nothing????
Pros: Brand new bat crush line drive hit bombs heaps of pop hit ball hard
Cons: Hit the ball in the wrong spot and your hands are screwed
Pros: I've only used it twice with about 75 swings but it feels amazing and it flies of the bat, so i cant tell you about the durability but everything else is great.
Cons: nothing yet
Pros: Good pop and it has a great sound coming off the bat and I hit a grounder to the third basemen and he couldn't handle it! I would prefer this bat if your looking for the new cf8
Cons: None to be honest
Pros: Insane pop even though i haven't even broken it in yet. Light swing. You can feel the ball jump off. No vibration at all.
Cons: I marks easily. It feels heavy, but when you swing, it feels a lot lighter than other bats.
Pros: Way too good
Cons: you not buying it
Pros: I love this bat i used to swing the voodoo and i wanted to make the jump to a heavier bat. I was debating whether to get the Mako or CF7 and since I like denmarinis products better i chose the Cf7 and I'm glad i did. The color is amazing. The pop is unbelievable and i feel nothing when hitting with this bat. I can swing at the inside pitches and not have to worry about sting. If you are debating whether to get the CF7 or Mako get the CF7.
Cons: Nothing except a lot of teammates want to use it and i don't like that
Pros: Ball flings off the bat like super man it is truly awsome!!! I have not played a game with it yet but I have hit homer after homer with it GOOD BYE MAKO!!!
Cons: NONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Pros: Lot less bat shock than MAKO or Aluminum, good carry on a square pop, bat surface seems to hold contact to ball cover real well for a little extra bite on grounders or chip hits, looks good. Still evaluating.
Cons: Not what the weight stamp advertised. 2-3 ounces heavier (balance beam) on the 30"/19 so it is creating a bit of a drag and drop to my kids swing which is causing more ground hits. Feels more "end loaded" than what a balanced bat should be.
Pros: My son has a mako, s1, and this cf7. spoiled..... absolutely. This is the cream of the crop. This bat is superbly balanced. My son says there's no better feeling of contact from any other bat. There isnt any vibration even with poorly hit balls. He can put the ball where he wants because of the control this bat provides. It can put them ovrr the fence with ease. Down the 3rd base line to the fence or such a hot grounder that the infield cant handle it.It took about 700 hits before really becoming alive and it seems to just keep getting better.I would guess he has hit 1500+ balls with it and durability isnt an issue. The grip is the best out of the wrapper and the color scheme is our all time favorite. Very pleased with this purchase. Would buy again and again.
Cons: The paint seems to be chipping a little but thats why you buy a bat to beat it up. Not really a con except its such a good looking bat. To bad people dont give demarini a chance over a mako.
Pros: No vibration, amazing paint that never chips, and crazy pop. So lightweight, perfect for a small hitter.
Cons: The handle connection has a funny design.
Pros: Received the bat 2 days after ordering. Picked up this bat for the bigger kids on my LL team. About the 8th hit on this bat one of my 12 year olds hit a 290ft bomb over the fence. It looks good, the kids like it and it has a lot of pop. I dont know about durability yet but everything else is great.
Cons: I only bought one.
Pros: none
Cons: the bat made my son Cole look like he stinks!!!!he lost bat wars...??
Pros: Had to scoop it up with the price being what it was. My sons XL1 finally went to Bat Heaven. I already knew it has great pop from another kid on our team having one. Glad I could get it for this price. Perfect size and weight for him also.
Cons: None, that being said. I hope it will last 2 more seasons.
Pros: i hit 7 homeruns with this bat and im 12 years old
Cons: nothing
Pros: I like this bat because it has a great feel going through the motion. also The bat has a lot of pop I was down 0-2 and I tried to slap hit the ball to put it in play and I still hit it out of a 225ft. fence at 12yrs old.
Cons: everybody on my baseball team wants to use the bat.
Pros: Great bat! All the kids on the team wanted to use it.
Cons: No cons

About the Brand
In 1992, DeMarini Sports had something to celebrate. The three-year-old company had climbed a rung on the proverbial ladder of success, moving its world headquarters from a dirt-floored barn to a slightly larger metal shack. "It was a big move for us," recalled Ray DeMarini from the batting cage of DeMarini Sport’s present-day Bat Industrial Complex. "The new shop was larger, more storm resistant, and -best of all- it had a heater."
In the early days, DeMarini Sports hardly made a blip on the radar screen of softball. With no retailers and virtually no advertising budget, DeMarini grew steadily by selling high-performance bats directly to customers. While established companies made "juiced" bats for the pros and ordinary bats for the public, DeMarini focused on making one line of high-performance bats for pros and amateurs alike. This approach, combined with a passion for the sport, led to the greatest innovation in softball history - the world’s first multi-wall bat: the DeMarini Doublewall.
Released in 1993, the DeMarini Doublewall was the world’s first multi-wall bat. Like a modern golf driver or oversized tennis racket, the Doublewall had a giant "sweetspot," which allowed average players to hit like pros. DeMarini’s sales exploded, and before long opposing bat manufacturers to notice. DeMarini - a homegrown company led by a softball fanatic - had shaken the establishment silly.
To understand the rise of the DeMarini Dynasty, you need to know Ray DeMarini. A cult hero among avid players, Ray DeMarini emerged on the professional softball scene at the age of 40, a veritable geriatric among younger players. With a scientific approach to training, a batting speed of 96 miles-per-hour and a bombastic attitude, DeMarini fast earned a reputation as a savage competitor.
In June of 1987, ESPN launched a nationwide search for a hardcore player to advise on a series of instructional softball videos. When approached by producer Erich Lytle, the biggest boys in softball repeatedly spoke of a five-foot-seven softball giant—Ray DeMarini. DeMarini had mastered reflex hitting, a technique that drops the ball squarely between the infield and outfield. Impressed with DeMarini's knowledge and scientific approach to training, Lytle not only hired Ray as an advisor—he hired him as the host. Together, they produced Ray DeMarini's Reflex Hitting System, ESPN's most successful home video to date.
Having garnered national recognition through ESPN, Ray turned his efforts toward designing a high-performance bat for the masses. To accomplish this, he needed an engineer. "Not just an engineer," he said, "but a boot-strapping rocket scientist who could build an empire with pocket change." Ray's call was answered by Mike Eggiman. Having grown up on a farm, Eggiman was adept at making the most of a situation. Case in point: the company's first piece of automated bat-making equipment had the heart of an abandoned washing machine.
With Eggiman as Chief Engineer, DeMarini Sports delivered a series of industry firsts: the first multi-wall bat (Doublewall Distance), the first high-performance bat for massive players (Fatboy) and the first high-performance youth bat (Black Coyote).
In 2000, DeMarini joined forces with Wilson Sporting Goods to develop the next generation of hitting technology. Ray believed it was a perfect fit, as both companies shared a vision of developing game-enhancing equipment for avid players. What’s more, the companies had complimentary products: Wilson was the leader in gloves, balls and protective gear, while DeMarini made the world’s finest bats. According to Chris Considine, Vice President/General Manager of Wilson Sporting Goods: "The thing that struck me most about DeMarini was their passion for sports and their true competitiveness.
Within a year, DeMarini unveiled the industry’s first concept bat, the $35,000 F1. Secured under lock and key at the DeMarini Bat Industrial Complex in Hillsboro, Oregon, the F1 served as a technological storehouse for future products, including DeMarini’s landmark Half & Half system.
In December 2001, 12 years after the genesis of DeMarini Sports, Ray DeMarini died of cancer in his Northwest Portland home. He was 55. The next summer, the Portland Metro Softball Association paid homage to the “King of Softball” with the dedication of Ray DeMarini Field. Formerly known as Delta #1, the field was DeMarini’s favorite place to test bats during the early days of business. Ray DeMarini—bat maker and player extraordinaire—was remembered for his high-performance softball bats and unwavering encouragement of everyday players. Today, a 40-foot sign announcing RAY DEMARINI FIELD graces the outfield, and an interpretive display chronicling Ray’s life greets players as they register for games.
More "Insane Dedication to Performance" is in store for tomorrow.
