great bat love it' big papa parent
Pros: great pop my son loves it he hit a few homeruns with it. he is the star on his team because I bought him this bat. I'd get this bat its great for youth players
Cons: none yet
When it hits the sweet spot you know Anonymous parent
Pros: great balance, no sting or vibration on any hit, Great pop on sweet spot
Cons: the bat is great, but the sweet spot is so much better than a mis-hit (as is with any bat) but this one the fall off seem to be more noticeable- however the bat is new and hasn't been fully broken in yet- the price is a bit much. Would highly recommend none the less for 7-9 year old lookng for deeper hits to the outfield.
oh my GOD the cardinal man player
Pros: best bat ever and so much pop
Cons: nothing
Perfect Bat for a smaller player SJ Titan parent
Pros: My son is 8 yrs old and 50lbs. We tried the 28" Mako -11 and it was too heavy for him to swing. Started to use the Demarini Voodoo Overlord 28' -13 which was a great bat until we started to use the S1. At first I was not impressed with the bat and thought i made a bad decision but after a week of hitting the bat seemed more solid and the balls were jumping off the Bat.. We purchased the 28" -12 which is a great size for him.. Still can't wait to see what it does outside the batting cages..
Cons: No custom colors available..
Great Pop - Break is required for max results MG coach
Pros: Great Sweet spot, no sting on hits, tremendous balance when swinging. Perfect performance bat for 6-9year old coach pitch and intro in to kid pitch.
Cons: Price - Break in period ( but necessary in all composite bats for best results - hitting leather covered hard balls into a net off a tee is great to start @200 hits rotating after each hit - then @ 200 hits in a cage using leather covered hard ball will do the trick - do not roll this bat
great bat coach mike coach
Pros: tons of pop. little to no vibe. looks great.
Cons: havent found any yet
Good Bat Edward Vertullo parent
Pros: Great pop, no vibration
Cons: My son has cracked three of these bats in a little over 10 months. The bats are expensive and we haven't managed to get through half of a season without needing to replace the bat.
SWEET bat! Drew parent
Pros: Serious pop. My 7 year old hit the ball twice as far with this bat as he did with his old LS alloy 27-13 bat. I have hit it off the tee myself and even before it's broken in, the feel is unreal. Seems like the ball will go a mile. No vibration and my kid loves it.
Cons: Got it for $140, brand new, in eBay. Even that is pricey for a 7 year old's bat. But he will probably use it for at least a full year and his brother will use it after him. If his brother wasn't going to use it, I'm sure I could sell it for $100 on ebay or craigslist, so cost isn't THAT big of a deal. Plus, if your kid is into baseball and uses it for 30+ games a year and all the practices, it's well worth it.
