What is the main difference between the S1, S2 and S3 with the 2 5/8 inch barrel? My son is about 52 inches tall and under 60 pounds. I am trying to find him the right -10 bat for the season. I am also looking at Demarini NVS series.

The main difference between the 2015 Easton S1 Senior League Baseball Bat (SL15S110), the 2015 Easton S2 Senior League Baseball Bat (SL15S210), and the 2015 Easton S3 Senior League Baseball Bat (SL15S310) would be the construction. The S1 is a two-piece all composite design. The S2 is a two-piece hybrid design with an alloy barrel and composite handle. The S3 is a single-piece alloy model. All three will be well balanced and perform well. The two-piece designs will have more flex which can lead to better bat speed and better sting and vibration protection while the S3's single-piece design will allow for a stiffer feel and more control over the bat. The S1's composite barrel may last a bit longer at its peak level of performance for more sustained use at a high level over time but the S2 and S3's alloy barrels will be hot out of the wrapper and ready to go.

Do you have to break this bat in?

The 2015 Easton S2 Senior League Baseball Bat (SL15S210) has an alloy barrel that does not require a break in.

Will this have the same exact feel as the 2014 S2 when swinging? My son loved the 2014 model.

The 2015 Easton S2 Senior League Baseball Bat (SL15S210) will feature the same two-piece hybrid design and balanced swing weight as the 2014 model. The alloy used was upgraded to the Hyperlite Matrix Alloy, which will result in slightly better performance with the same overall feel.
