Pros: the best bat my son ever had so far went to tournament and he hit bombs and all his teammates all love it .... you will see sales rocket on this item soon
Cons: none so far we will se how it holds up
Pros: Bringing out confidence in my hitters that have been struggling. Large sweet spot. Good pop for my contact hitters, so they are getting good line drives into the outfield. I've got 3 boys on the team using this bat for now.
Cons: It's full composite, so when the weather turns cool soon do not use this bat. It will snap in two.
Pros: Son took it out today (age 9 29"/17oz) and said he really liked the balance of the bat compared to his brothers Easton '14 S-2 bat. Ball really jumped of the bat and noticed considerable more distance with his hits. Only going to get better with age. I bet his older brother (age 10) will be using the bat as well.
Cons: None at this time.
Pros: One of 9U players just purchased this bat. At our first outdoor practice many of our players tried it out. All hit very well, even some bombs deep in the outfield. Balls jumped off the bat and players didn't complain of any vibration.
Cons: We only have 1 so far.
Pros: My 8 year old son likes this bat. The weight is perfect for a fast swing. After about 50-60 hits He was getting very good pops. No damage to the bat so far. His first game using the bat he hit screaming grounders hard to stop.
Cons: Vibration
Pros: Fully composite makes for a balanced feel and good contact swing
Cons: It's a awesome bat
Pros: Bought this bat for my 8 year old son so we could go ahead and start breaking it in for the spring season. We saw a big difference right out of the wrapper. Bat has great pop and has added 20 to 30 feet right out of the wrapper.
Cons: No complaints so far.
Pros: Grandson loves it . He is little, but has power for an 8 yr old. This bat has pop.
Cons: none noted
Pros: Well balanced, great pop, feels right.
Cons: None
Pros: My friend hit a 200 foot bomb over the fence with this bat he is 10 years old about 4'8 he got 30 inch bat
Cons: Vibration hurts
Pros: great pop even harder hits on ground balls. my 8yo son's confidence has grown leaps and bounds because he knows that he is going to hit the ball...it's just a matter of where and how far. I have him practice with his 2 1/4 barrel bat to develop hand/eye coordination but he uses this bat in tournament play.
Cons: none so far
Pros: My son is 9 and his confidence has grown since he has used the SLCT152 bat, driving the ball into the alleys.Half of his team is using the bat now and they are out hitting the other teams.
Cons: None yet.
Pros: My son is 9 and I bought him the bat for Fall Ball this year and Spring next year. Loves the length and how light it is. I truly feel the bats adds distance... not sure how much, but it totally does.
Cons: My son wasn't thrilled that how the handle is wide just after the knob - he'd prefer that it goes straight all the way down... but it's something he thinks he can get used to.
Pros: this Pat has taken my sons confidence level through the roof. Great pop coming off the bat and is hitting doubles and triples in 8u travel ball. I still have him use his 2 1/4 inch barrel and practice to develop hand I coordination but uses this in tournaments. He has become much more confident and knows he is going to get a hit every time. Great bat for a great price, I highly recommend it.
Cons: none so far
Pros: Son used it at two practices so far. 28/16oz. He loves the pop it has and said it has no vibration. Can't wait till its broken in and get outside in spring and see how it does.
Cons: None yet to fresh to tell. But i think it will be a great bat.
Pros: Can't comment because it broke so fast
Cons: Bat broke after 2 practices- used it 10 times
Pros: Great pop right out of the wrapper!! just bought for my 7yr old son who loves it. Hes 4"1 98lbs and crushing it now due to this bat
Cons: none
Pros: Lightweight with plenty of sweet spot. Great bat for winter workouts and the beginning of the season, while working on strength and bat speed.
Cons: None
Pros: amazing
Cons: almost nothing
Pros: Purchased bat (29/17) because of good pricing and good reviews. My son (7) used it in a tournament for the first time this past weekend 2-19-17 in Winterville, NC. Ball comes off the bat great. Very good pop. Overall, buy it. Will see how it holds up thru the season.
Cons: A little vibration on mis hits.
Pros: Awesome bat with great pop ! This bat is a confidence builder. My son is 8 years old and LOVES this bat ! So glad I got this bat..
Cons: none
Pros: the size of the barrel is a perfect size for the competitive u9 U10. the balls drive off the barrel is phenomenal. I see a lot more base hits this year, and in the future. I have seen on other reviews, people saying the durability is in question. but with the amount of ball that have been hit at 50 degree weather, they should not worry . my boy and his team have probably hit 2500 balls no problem. excellent bat!!
Cons: the only thing that was brought up was the vibration of the bat. my son, and his teammates said that it sometimes stings their hand. the fix to that was make sure they have a good grip, after that there was no problem.
Pros: Light weight, HUGE Sweet spot! The ball jumps off his bat better than anything he's ever used before. He loves it and so does the rest of his team.
Cons: Being Composite do not use in cold weather.
Pros: Great pop! smooth swinging. Clean graphics. Opposing coaches have asked the umps to check our bat twice now... haha!
Cons: in Idaho, our first 5 games were too cold to use it...
Pros: My 8 year old hit confidently in a 9/10 year old All-Star tournament. It has a nice sweet spot!
Cons: nothing so far

About the Brand
In 1842, J. Frederick Hillerich emigrated with his family from Baden-Baden, Germany to the United States. Eight years before, the 1834 Book of Sports had made its debut as the nation's first publication covering baseball. But when he arrived in Baltimore, J. Frederick Hillerich would never have dreamed of the future impact his family would have on America's favorite pastime.
After a short while, the Hillerichs moved to Louisville, where J. Fred started a woodworking shop in 1856. Two of his sons, Adam and John Andrew "Bud" were born in the United States and would later join their father in his business. By 1864 "J.F. Hillerich, Job Turning" was in operation and filled orders for businesses by custom-turning everything from balusters to bedposts.
The firm thrived, and by 1875 the little woodworking shop employed about 20 people. In 1880 Bud Hillerich, who was an amateur baseball player, became an apprentice in his father's shop. Young Bud made his own baseball bats along with bats for several of his teammates.
The debate over the origins of the first bat continues to generate controversy among baseball enthusiasts, but the younger Hillerich was most certainly involved in getting his father's business involved with what would become the company's signature item. According to company legend, the first bat was turned by Bud for Pete "The Old Gladiator" Browning in 1884. Browning was a star on Louisville's professional American Association team - the Eclipse. On a spring afternoon Bud, then seventeen, witnessed Browning break his favorite bat. Bud offered to make a bat for his hero, and Browning accepted. After the young wood shop apprentice lathed a quality stick from white ash, according to the story, Browning got three hits with it in the next game.
Louisville Slugger gloves are worn by more pitchers in Major League Baseball than any other glove.
