2015 Miken Chill: CHILL10 Fastpitch Softball Bat Don M. parent

Pros: 16U Daughter hit a frozen rope HR (230 ft.) in her 3rd game with this new bat. Same feel as the Miken Freak which she had for 2 years. Pop seems really good. Smaller knob for increased wrist snap.

Cons: After 1 week the bat looks pretty beat up but these are just cosmetic scratches. The shinniness is already long gone after 3 weeks. Durability is still a question mark at this point but her Freak -10 drop lasted her 2 years.

Pros: Bat had pop right out of the wrapper. My 13 year old has hit 3 OTF home runs in the last month since using the bat. She had always swung a DeMarini and didn't want to change, but she has fallen in love with this bat for obvious reasons.

Cons: Everyone on her team wants to use it.

Cons: DURABILITY ISSUES MY 15 YR OLD DAUGHTER USED THIS BAT IN 4 GAMES BEFORE IT BROKE. MOST BATS BREAK RIGHT AFTER WARRANTY PERIOD EXPIRES. THIS IS THE SECOND MIKEN THAT IS BEING SENT BACK TO THE MANUFACTURER IN TWO YEARS. $300 BATS SHOULD LAST MORE THAN A DOZEN AT BATS.
