The two-piece Triad defies Miken's conventional one-piece composite design, but is still made with the same high grade carbon fiber Miken's fans are used to. Triad is not only the name of the bat, but also the name of Miken's newest Triad Xtreme technology. This two-piece composite design is made from Miken's Triad Xtreme technology. Triad Xtreme technology uses proprietary layering of high strength fibers at Xtreme temperatures, unleashing the ultimate sweetspot and improving hot out of the wrapper durability. The handle of the Triad is made with Vortex Technology that uses the power of a braided reinforcement to increase the strength of the handle and optimize performance. Great Bat Out of the Wrapper T player

Pros: Opened this bat started crushing the ball right away! It felt smooth, and it took very little effort to launch the ball. Upon contact, there is almost no vibration even when hitting on the inside. So far it is great!

Great Bat, Poor Quality Dee Nut player

Pros: Best bat I have ever used. Hitting balls 330 feet plus out of the wrapper. I would give 5 starts, but the knob fell off while swinging.

Cons: Knob fell off less than 200 hits. Disappointing after spending $300. Did some research and other Triad bats have had same problem. Send back to Miken and they will fix the same bat. I will just epoxy and fix myself.

ALLOT better than I expected Tom Hebert player

Pros: Feels like a one piece bat, nice stiff feel. Exit speed of the ball off this bat is nothing less than awesome. .5 oz EL gives it nice kick for hitting to all fields. This bat was originally an extra bat for me but I really enjoy hitting with it, and I find myself using more and more... I find it much improved from Gold Triads and they were pretty good in their own right.

Cons: I should have listened to all the reviews. The knob on the handle fell of the first game of the season. Bat has got a lot of pop but another Miken bat that was poorly built.

Pros: Great bat! First hit one hop to the fence and second was at the base of the fence and I'm not a power hitter. Even when the ball ain't hit far it hits really fast. Love the bat. No problems with it yet.

What would be the difference between this bat and the DC-41? gabe

The main difference between the 2015 Miken Triad Xtreme Maxload USSSA (STR3MU) and the 2015 Miken DC-41 SuperMax USSSA (BTGDCU) would be the end-loading. The STR3MU features a 1/2 ounce end-load while the DC-41 features a full ounce end load.
