Pros: I had the opportunity to test this bat for several weeks. It has more pop than my Mako at a $200 price point. Incredible!!! It swings light and there's little vibration. It has a massive sweet spot and the ball jumps off the barrel.
Cons: The grip wears out quick.
Pros: I tried out the new Mizuno bat and it was absolutely awesome. It was extremely lightweight and balanced and had a huge sweet spot. The ball came off the bat with a ton of pop and no vibration on the hands. For $200 you are definitely getting your money's worth. Awesome bat.
Cons: The grip wears out after several hundred swings.
Pros: This is my new favorite bat! Awesome Pop!
Cons: None so far.
Pros: A bat with a ton of pop that is about half the price of the Mako! My wallet loves that. Now I can get a great bat and a top end glove for the same money and not worry that my son is swinging an inferior bat. He says the balance is great and the sweet spot is massive!
Cons: Mizuno needs to improve the bat grip for sure.
Pros: I didn't want to spend $400 on a bat for my son. I was surprised at the performance he got out of Mizuno's Generation at $200. My son is hitting better than ever before. I'd purchase again.
Cons: Had to regrip
Pros: I wanted to try out this bat and im glad i did. This is a absoloutely great bat!!! I think it ould be the best one out right now. Pop is incredible, ball just flies off the bat. I love the woodmaking noise when you hit it. Overall this is just an incredible bat!! Worth the money and better than a maako.
Cons: Was this helpful? None.
Pros: Great pop, great feel, great bat! Can't wait to see what Mizuno comes out with next.
Cons: Not a big fan of the graphics but will over look because of the performance
Pros: First off, the bat has a whole lot of pop. I would say it has more pop than any senior league bat I have ever used. The sweet spot is huge. It is insanely balanced. No vibration what so ever. Overall a tremendous bat.
Cons: The grip
Pros: Excellent bat, great pop, and a huge sweet spot.
Cons: The tape comes off easily but it is very easy to replace
Pros: Insanely wide sweet spot. This bat murders the ball even on mishits. I absolutely love it.
Cons: Had to replace grip
Pros: has the biggest sweet spot i ever have had for a bb cor. very good pop and no vibration on the hands. only 200 dollars.
Cons: i dont have any bad news about this bat
Pros: the bat has the best pop out of every bat ive ever used the sweet spot is unbelevible
Cons: the grip is completly torn and broke i had to regrip it. if this happens i reccomend a lizard skin grip
Pros: great pop, my school ball team used it and had allot a success with it. it has amazing balance, and that makes it really relaxing in your hands. my competitive team used it as well and I hit daily with it and absolutely love it!
Cons: the grip isn't to great, but its not to thick, but just really hurts your hands after awhile. allot of people used it and some people with not so good swings hit balls off the handle and cracked it, but its still fine, but its 3 inches from the grip so it stings if you don't hit the sweet spot. the bat did outstanding until the handle crack.
Pros: I am basing this bat on the first swing of batting practice that sailed 300ft and about 100 hits that at least half were screaming line drives that will hopefully see gaps this fall. Also, the sweet spot is so large the misfits would fall like base hits. The ones off the end of bat would have the distance to be a base hit dropping into right field.the ground era were all rifle shots. I threw several pitches harder from short distance and they came back triple speed. My kid simply Loves this Bat and at this price it is a home run waiting to happen. I am so convinced I just bought the next size up for when he grows into it and fills out. My kid hasn't hasn't hit a ball like this all season and convinced his average woulda been 100 points higher, his doubles would have quadrupled and I think he would have put one out possibly on a 325 plus fence. This bat is a sleeper but it sure woke up when my son put it in his hands and check around.Nobody is selling this bat near where just bats does!
Cons: I don't foresee anything negative. What could be? People say grip may come off or whatever,so I'll put a new grip on it? Grip is great out of box.
Pros: This season my son has been bouncing between -5 (1.15) and BBCOR -3 depending on the league and/or tournament. This Mizuno is the first BBCOR bat my son has used where he doesn't feel like it's a huge burden to be using BBCOR. He's used the Easton S Series, Mako, Lousiville Omaha and Marucci (team series), and there is no comparison to this bat. Trampoline feels like 1.15 despite its .50 BBCOR construction. Great balance and extended barrel makes it a joy to swing and the bat speed is there. This is a special bat for folks who don't mind leaving the big spending fashion brands.
Cons: No comment on durability yet. So far so good, but we've only had it for 2 weeks.
Pros: I saw this bat when the Mizuno rep was at our local store- unfortunately they didn't have the size I wanted in a Senior League bat... then two weeks ago, I found out that my son needed a BBCOR bat- so I see this bat on sale for the price of a steak dinner and a few martinis, so I grab it thinking it will hold us over for the first few tournaments when bbcor bats were required and we'd wait to buy a more expensive bat once he found one to his liking- to my surprise, my son hits farther than he ever has and consistently hitting the ball solidly. Seems to have a large sweet spot and balance seems to be weighted so that he gets good bat speed and good power as well. He hits better with this bat than his non-bbcor senior league bats- and those are all much more expensive. Liked this so much that I ended up buying the 33" model as well for when he outgrows the 32". A steal at the closeout price, but it would be a steal at full price! My son is 5'5" and 115#.
Cons: will probably replace the grip with a lizard skin grip like others have posted, but my son is fine with the stock grip for now.
Pros: My son loves the bat and especially the way it hits.
Cons: Some other reviews said tape one handles came off early. I worry about that but have had no problems yet.
Pros: Son is stinging the ball with this bat. It has great balance and a better than average sweet spot. Low MOI seems to boost bat speed increasing distance. Mizuno has the barrel wall thicknesses tuned just right.
Cons: No complaints here.
Pros: Amazing pop. My 13 year old son loves this bat. When he hits the top half of the baseball it's down right scary.
Cons: None yet
Pros: Good feel and Pop
Cons: None at this time
Pros: Since the 1st swing my 13 year old son took with this bat in fallball I knew it was a great investment. The ball just jumps right off the bat. Quite frankly it is scary to see the ball zooming by up the middle. The sweet spot is so long that even if he doesn't connect right the ball still travels. The bat is 32/29oz but swings like a -12. I highly recommend it. I will look to by the 2016 version for the summer.
Cons: None for me. I read something about the grip but as of right now my son is satisfied.
Pros: POP, Feel, Balance, Price
Cons: Nothing yet
Pros: I play College Baseball in Louisiana, I bought this bat to use in practice to limit wear on my Mako. It took about 5 hits to realize this Mizuno has more POP and better feel than my $499.00 Easton MAKO . I hit some of the longest balls I ever hit the very first time I used it, HUGE POP== I will be using it in games
Cons: None
Pros: Swung it in the cage for the first time today and.....wow is all i have to say. Don't let the looks and the price deceive you. The ball jums off the bat, very balanced, and a gigantic sweet spot. For 69.99 you're getting more than your moneys worth. Mizuno really has created something amazing!
Cons: I wish I new about this sooner
Pros: Pop, Pop & More Pop. a very well balanced bat, Cool Graphics. Used bat in the 2015 H. S. season, Summer ball and fall ball. and now we are back hitting for H.S. getting ready for the 2016 season and I still use the same bat and the bat still has the same Pop. I read issues with the Grip? I have not have had the issue with the grip.
Cons: None
Pros: We took this bat out over the weekend and gave it a few swings. Ball would come off the barrel quickly. To me it feels slightly end loaded (I am not complaining, I like it this way) and not quite as balanced as it was made out to be. The bat really moves through the zone.
Cons: I didn't really care for the grip but that is personal preference
Pros: Good pop and sounds great
Cons: None
Pros: Great comfortable bat with lots of pop! My 13yr old loves this bat, even after trying some other $200+ bats. He said it just feels great! That made my wallet feel even better. Anyone spending $400-$500 on a bat for a little league kid is just plain nuts in my book. I would rather spend all that money saved on lessons.
Cons: ZERO!
Pros: Good price for a solid bat.
Cons: None yet.
Pros: Huge POP, Big Sweet spot , feels good in hands, Great price for a quality . I bought this bat as a practice bat due to the price-- to my surprise it has more POP than every other BBCOR I have tried and I paid $499, $399 and $ $299 . The only other bat bat I would use is the LS Omaha and that's only $199 .. Don't spend a ton of $$ on overpriced bats ..I play College Ball and only use this Mizuno or the Omaha after buying and using overpriced bats that ended up in my car trunk
Cons: Tape tears easily but that's an easy fix. Buy a Lizard Skin or other brand Bat Tape and you're all set
Pros: great pop and feel hits the gaps, cant feel the ball when you hit it on the barrel
Cons: none
Pros: Great price for a quality bat. Bought bat for my son and he loves it.
Cons: None
Pros: If you are a typical consumer enslaved by marketing, then you want to go with a Mako Torq or Combat Maxum because they are both over $400 and so they MUST be the best. For those of us who refuse to be enslaved by marketing, I doubt there is a better bat for the money. Great balance, plenty of pop. Is the new Mako or Combat better? Maybe, maybe not--but I am POSITIVE they are not 5 times better!
Cons: Non-Sweet Spot hits can cause some wicked vibration, expected with a one piece aluminum bat. What's the fix for this? Improve your swing and make solid contact in the sweet spot for ZERO vibration.
Pros: I read the reviews and thought it would be a good bat but we just must have gotten a bad one. I am a former professional hitting coach. I ordered it for my 11th grade son.
Cons: It has no pop. One of the worst bats I have ever ordered.
Pros: looks good
Cons: this bat is not good. yes,it makes a little sound when you hit the ball, but is dead from the first time out of the box. the people who think this is a good bat must not have used any other bat.at least ours is a dead bat. my son is 14 and has played travel and league ball for 5 years and he hates it. bought it cause it was on sale and had good reviews. wasted my money
Pros: Swings light, contact feels solid
Cons: not durable
Pros: Awesome bat. My hitting has already improved.
Cons: None so far.
Pros: Huge sweet spot with lots of pop
Cons: Very heavy compared to other BBCOR bats
Pros: It is a good baseball, bat lots of pop
Cons:
Pros: Was good for a little while
Cons: Lasted one season before the cap on the barrel smashed off.
Pros: good looking
Cons: my bat snaped in half from me just hitting BP in the cages at my school, wasent a pitching machine it was my friend tossing them to me.
Pros: The bat feels really fluid through the swing, has quite a bit of pop in the sweet spot, and is decently balanced.
Cons: The grip wears out in first 50-100 swings, the bat is painted poorly (1 thin layer of paint), and will absolutely demolish your hands if you don’t hit the sweet spot after a few months.
