Description
Adidas brings you the next new take on Hybrid Power with the EQT X2. The highlight of this bat lies in its high-performance Damascus Alloy. Just like the steel of the same name that inspired the EQT's graphics, Damascus Alloy is an extremely resilient and responsive blend of metals that is tuned for maximum trampoline. With such a material in the barrel, it's almost hard to believe the performance could be improved any further - almost. Adidas has optimized the swing weight for the prototypical power hitter by extending the barrel for a huge sweet spot and end loaded feel. The two-piece hybrid bat also offers a pure Carbon Fiber Handle and PermaLock Connection Technology that produces optimal stiffness to maximize energy transfer to the ball. Wrap that in the tackified EQT Grip Tape, and the X2 is ready to help you make headlines.
The EQT X2 Senior League Baseball Bat: X2-SL features a -5 length to weight ratio, 2 5/8 inch barrel diameter, the USSSA BPF 1.15 Certification, and it is backed by a full Twelve (12) Month Manufacturer's Warranty.

The great bat Jack player
Pros: Best bat ever I hit my first home run on first bat
Cons: There not one con
Adidas EQT X2 John F parent
Pros: Nice bat, great price. Hard to beat a combo composite bat with this quality anywhere near the price.
Cons: None seen so far
Excellent Bat Jeff parent
Pros: My son plays travel baseball and has two Demarini Voodoo Overlords. We are Demarini fans. We needed a bat this fall to help him transition from a -9 to -3 BBCOR for middle school ball. We did not want to break the bank for a transition bat. We purchased this Adidas EQT X2 and thought we would give it a try. My son really liked it in the cage. We played our first tournament with the bat this weekend and he hit the ball every bit as hard if not harder with this Adidas than his Demarini Voodoo Overlord. Two other kids on the team ended up using the bat. I asked him about the pop / feel comparison and my son stated that he really liked the Adidas EQT X2. He has no issues likes it better than his Voodoo Overlord. The description of the bat says end loaded but we find the bat to be fairly balanced. Not sure on durability yet.
Cons: None
Can't go wrong for $59 LS parent
Pros: Only 29 inch Drop 5 bat we could find for use by 11 year old during fall/winter to increase strength. Sons have used many bats over the years (Voodoo Raw/Overlord, Marucci Black, XL3, CF7, CF6, CF5, S1,S2,S3 -10's/-8's/-5's) Two favorite bats are Overlord and XL3. This EQT is as good as any of them. 11 year old said it initially feels heavy, but swings light. Feels great on almost every swing. He likes the smaller knob, grip is good. During a quick BP session ball was traveling as far, if not farther, than XL3(-5). Was easily able to control the barrel. Do not hesitate to use this bat as either a game bat, cold weather, or an off season bat to save your more expensive piece. $59 Is a steal.
Cons: None
Great Bat Jody Krpec parent
Pros: My son loves the Pop off the bat
Cons: none so far, only had a 2 weeks.
2016 Adidas EQT X2 Senior League -5 Baseball Bat Dad parent
Pros: Good looking bat almost a balance feel. 32/27oz
Cons: My son used this bat in a tournament and he did not like it. It has no pop at all. He said he hit the ball right on the barrel and it just rolled off. Just put the 80$ toward a better quality bat.
$250 bat for $80...Ok why? Ian gallicano coach
Pros: My 5' 7" 13 year old needed a -5 senior bat. I knew he'd only be using it for one season before he jumped to a BBCOR for JV. I saw this bat was a two piece composite handle, which I knew would decrease vibration and help with a little more whipping action. We went to the cages and as I pitched to him he said he loved the fluidity (his words) of the 31inch bat. He then proceeded to go 11 for 18 no strikeouts in his last six games of travel ball 13u with this bat. He won't use anything else. I still don't know why it's only $80. now my 12U son also won't use anything else. He's only 4'8" and hit the 230' fence with his 31inch. This bat has a low MOI, which makes for a nice easy swing.
Cons: NONE
David David Schuessler coach
Pros: The bat is well balanced, not too end heavy. We like the tapered handle as well. Little to no vibration gives the bat a solid feel. My son is moving up from a -10 bat so this bat is a good transition before he goes to a BBCOR bat next year.
Cons: None
Good Bat Great Value Robert Perkes parent
Pros: It looks good and it feels good. If you are looking for value bat for a decent kid that isn't going to play 100 games you found it. Very happy with our purchase and you will be too. Half his jr high team is using it now.
Cons: No real cons. I will buy another.
Quality Bat at a great price Brian T coach
Pros: Feels great with a quality end-loaded balance. Gets a lot of comments on how cool it looks. It stands out among a sea of Easton bats. Good pop out of the wrapper and a solid handle wrap for comfort. This is a great step for my 12-year old who is playing Majors LL this year and Modified (BBCOR req) next year. The drop 5 is perfect for his 50-70 league as he builds strength
Cons: None yet. It's been great through a fall ball season and now in pre-season for the spring.
Questions and Answers

Unfortunately I have a smaller 11 yr old that is moving up to 13's next year. He swings a drop 8 CF7 now. We want to get him a drop 5 to swing during fall ball and in the cages during the winter. This is the only bat I can find in a 29 inch. In your opinion, would I be better off buying a 30/25 Omaha and putting a bat choke on it to shorten it up a bit? Or go with the EQT X2 in a 29? I have never held it not sure how heavy it feels in the barrel. Tony
My son is playing 13U. He is currently hitting with the Rawlings 5150 (31"/26 oz). He is about 5'4"/120 lbs and is quite strong. He seems to swing the 5150 very fast. Just curious if you think the Adidas EQT X2 with its end-load may be a better fit? Keith
My 12 year old son is hitting a lot of balls short of the fence. Currently swinging a VELO 30"/20 oz which is very balanced with a lot of bat speed. He is 115 lbs and 5'1". Should we move to a -5 bat? What could we do to increase distance in his hits? unknownBatter
My son is 11 yrs old, about 5'3", and 83 lbs. He uses a Combat MAXUM -8. This bat is balanced and true to its 22 oz weight. Is this bat balanced or end loaded and is it true to its weight or heavier? baseballmom
Is this bat legal for Junior division little league? bpomeroy
Is this allowed in intermediate 50/70 bb
I was looking at this bat before and it had the option of 32"/27 oz, but that option is not appearing any longer. Are they just sold out or do they not offer that size anymore? DK3
