The Marucci Hex Alloy Senior League Baseball Bat: MSBAHAX10 may look like a typical one-piece Alloy design, but under its electric neon green and silver paint scheme, this bat is truly innovative. Each MSBAHAX10 is forged from Marucci's new AZ4X Alloy and is individually tuned for optimum performance in each length it is produced. The Hex's barrel provides the maximum barrel length, and it is also ring-free which only maximizes the trampoline effect a hitter can create. Marucci Hex Alloy M. Allen parent
Pros: My son is 8 and absolutely loves this bat. He replaced his CAT 6 with the 2016 HEX Alloy. It is a very well designed bat with tremendous pop right out of the box. No break in period required. This bat has great balance and a very large sweet spot. My son's confidence has even improved with the use of this bat. The sound it makes on contact is awesome. I have been approached by many coaches and parents at tournaments inquiring about how they can get this bat. Marucci has done it again.
Cons: None
Marucci Hit it out the Park... with the Hex Alloy! JP17 coach
Pros: Performance/Pop is unmatched. Great bat for any age...I have a 8 & 13 yr old that swing this bat, best alloy bat on the market. Very durable, have been taking 500 plus cuts a week since January....no dents and pop is still as if it just came out of the wrapper. Kids love the sound when the ball comes off the bat. We have had several parents and coaches inquire about where to get this bat.
Cons: none
Great BAT and Pop!! Inferno coach
Pros: Excellent bat, I have bought multiple Marucci bats and this is by far the best one since the CAT5. My son plays on a 9U travel team and has been dropping bombs with the 29/19. He also has the composite Hex which is a good bat in its own right but he loves the feel of the allow and the ping.
Cons: None
Best bat since the cat 5 Hitter44 parent

Sounds Great!! Very good pop!! Dave Henschen parent
Pros: Bat is evenly weighted and has tons of pop.

Pros: i have purchased 10-15 bats for my boys. this is the winner. they love it. tons of pop. weighted very well. big fan of this bat. marucci got this one rt. never have been a marucci fan till now. other kids on team use it over their bat.
Cons: nothing. really.
Real deal!!1 Hugo Rosario parent
Pros: Both my sons play travel ball. My oldest had the Cat 6 32/27 and it has tremendous pop. The Hex alloy is a great bat. My youngest started hitting with it right away and the ball flies off the bat and has the awesome ping sound. Get this bat you won't be disappointed.
Cons: None so far but I have to see how durable the bat is.
marucci hex alloy jake parent
Pros: my son loves the bat. he loves the balanced swing weight, the sound, the feed back, and he likes the graphics. Pretty obvious that this bat has a lot of pop. The ball jumps off the barrell.
Cons: He hasn'had it that long and it already has a dent. not sure if this is a bad thing against marucci or just a negative against -10 alloy bats in general. they all dent.
Awesome Bat.... Daddy Baseball parent
Pros: Great pop right out of the box..
Cons: None
Best bat ever Mr. Jones coach
Pros: Has the best pop out of any bat my son has ever used!!!! No sting when he gets jammed on the hands.
Cons: None
Best one piece alloy ever! JackoFusion player
Pros: Lots of pop and a great big sweet spot for an alloy bat. The handle really does eliminate sting while being very stiff also.
Cons: The finish could be a bit less slick a matte finish would be lots better.
2015 Marucci Cathy Owen parent
Pros: Our league can only use Big Barrels in tournaments, so they were all excited in bang that ball out of the park, its a great bat, and gives any kid confidence on the plate.
Cons: There isn't any Cons.
great bat Dan the MAN player
Pros: my 130 pound 5'1" nine year old power hitter loves this bat. he swings it with great bat speed and enjoys the sweet sound when he crushes the ball
Cons: none
Awesome POP Right Out of the Box! GK parent
Pros: Bought for my 9 yr old after seeing a kid blasting balls at end of summer tourney. Did not disappoint, right out of box, deep fly balls. Similar to Cat 5.
Cons: Wish the handle was a little thinner like his old Easton XL.
Awesome bat Baseball Dad parent
Pros: My son loves this bat. It is very well balanced and still has great pop. He also likes the loud ping the bat makes and the fact that he doesn't feel any vibration.
Cons: None
Wicked pop for a month but dented now Q Gatson coach
Pros: Ball jumps off with wicked sound, no sting, huge sweet spot, great overall feel.
Cons: Eventually dented after a month of practice and tournament ball every weekend. Bat cave in on lower half of the sweet spot.
Great Bat DC parent
Pros: My son is 8yrs old and has been using this bat since the summer. He old bat was a Easton Mako, he seemed to never get the drive off of his Mako. This Marucci has been a pleasant surprise. My son is not a bulky kid, he is actually small framed. But he is able to rip the ball with this bat. I watch him in batting practice with his coach and see a big difference with the way the ball travels off the bat now vs how it did with the Mako. I highly recommend this bat. The coach who is a former pro seems to be impressed with the bat as well after taking a few swings with it. The Marucci has been very impressive so far.
Cons: None yet.
confidence builder Happy Coach coach
Pros: My son is 11, He has been using the Hex Alloy bat this fall and absolutley loves it. The pop in which the the ball come's off the bat is amazing. All the other players on his team is using it and they like as well. The bat is so well balance that it helps keep him balanced while swinging. Highly recamend this bat to all ages.
Cons: none
Thomas
Pros: Just got this bat this past weekend for my son who plays 10U travel ball. We went up in size from a 28/18 to a 29/19 but since the bat is so balanced he didn't really seem to notice the change. The bat has a lot of pop and a big sweet spot. First time swinging it he drove a outside pitch opposite field to the fence for a double. Oh, one of the teams we played had probably five or six of their players swinging the same bat.
Cons: none
Great Overall Bat Kevin parent
Pros: Great pop right out of the wrapper. My son has a lot of confidence hitting this bat and the old school ping and he is hitting harder/longer than he did with his previous Easton composite bat. Other Kids are already asking to use it and how to get one themselves.
Cons: None
Great at first, Bad Durability Dave parent
Pros: Pop out of the box, feel, balance
Cons: My 11 year old son had this bat for 2 1/2 months. It didn't even see game use. Had great pop out of the box and gave him added distance over other alloy bats. Only used for training 2-3 times a week in warm weather and indoor facility. It got a 2 inch crack on the sweet spot. This was a replacement for the Elite, which he dented badly after 3 months of use. I'm done buying Marucci.
Marucci Hex Alloy bat Baseballmom42 parent
Pros: Awesome sweet spot! my 12 son hits it to the outfield every time with this bat!!! Best bat we have bought since the Cat5. He lives the feel if the bat.
Cons: None!
Bat Crack Twice Hugo parent
Pros: Great pop and ball travels far.
Cons: Bat returned to Marrucci and cracked again in 2 months. If your boy swings hard and hits a lot of BP, the bat will not last.
BIG pop / no durability Todd Miller parent
Pros: lots of pop great sound and good looking
Cons: will not bye or recommend this bat dented over one weekend replaced with bigger size and dented it again 2 tournaments latter my son is 11 and weighs 82 did not do that with Easton bat
Good pop. Knights Baseball coach
Pros: Lots of pop.
Cons: Bat looks like a golf ball. Dents very easily. It looks as if every hit left a dent.
This bat is HOT! Mike parent
Pros: My 8 year old son loves the 27 17. We received this bat as a warranty replacement for the Cat 6 that dented after 11 months of heavy use! We have a hitting station in our garage and he's taken this to the cages three times. He loves it. The bat is well balanced and gets through the zone quick. The pop off this bat is ridiculous! He likes it better than the Cat 6 and it is hotter in my opinion. He took it to the field last week and is absolutely roping the ball!
Cons: None
'16 Marucci Hex Alloy Senior H-Town Dad parent
Pros: My son used the Easton S3 '13-'15 models the last three seasons with great success. He's a line drive/power hitter that prefers one piece alloy over composite. The '16 Marucci Hex Alloy is very similar in performance and has held up well through many batting sessions so far. It's by far the most popular "hot" bat in the Houston area...seems like every team has a few in their lineups. The "ping" off the bat is a head turner!!!
Cons: Grips ok, but replaced with Lizard skin.
Great Bat big daddy coach
Pros: lots of pop right out the wrapper. -10 drop makes it easy to swing.
Cons: none so far
Wow Ken Benson coach
Pros: I can't honestly rate the durability because the bat just arrived today but I have to or the site won't take my review. Our first time out I was diving for cover on the pitchers mound and watching my son send balls into the outfield or rip burning grounders. This bat is the real deal. One of our baseballs is now completely misshapen. This bat could add some serious fun to our season.
Cons: None that I can see, hope the bat holds up over time.
Great well balanced bat with lots of pop! Rob B. coach
Pros: Well balanced, lots of pop, still looks fairly new with the 500 plus baseballs it's attacked.
Cons: None
Dent within first 30 balls David coach
Pros: Bat has a Long sweet spot, good grip.
Cons: My son (9) dented this bat with in our first bucket of leather balls. It has Good Not Amazing pop. For a Bat that cost this much and is Alloy I expected a lot more.
Ping! John W coach
Pros: Ball really pops off the bat
Cons: Grip...little big and too much cushion.
No Durability JPaul parent
Pros: I will agree with other reviewing posts that the ball does have a lot more pop than the Easton S1 my son was using. It also has that distinctive sound that turns heads. The weight is balanced, but odd. The bat just cracked, but Marucci warranty has already contacted me about getting it back to them for replacement.
Cons: After 8 months of use my son literally opened up a 4 inch crack right in the sweet spot. He's not a power hitter and he doesn't share the bat with the team so this is all one kid use. We made sure that he didn't use it during cold weather and it was stored inside to eliminate environmental fatigue.
Buyer Beware - No Durability! Dave parent
Pros: Great pop out of the box, balanced feel, good customer service
Cons: Absolutely no durability! My 12 year old has destroyed two of these bats. First one was a replacement for an Elite, which dented in a half season's use. The first Hex cracked within 2 months of use. Good customer service sent us a second one, which was an exception to their policy. We took it out of the box last weekend, and it had two huge dents within the first 20 swings. All hitting done in warm weather/indoor facilities with real baseballs. If your kid swings hard and has some power, avoid this bat! The pop and feel of this bat are great out of the box, but I will not be buying any more Marucci bats.
Hex Cooper DesRoches player
Pros: This bat feels great when i hold it and I can crush the ball while using it.
Cons: Awesome bat, everyone should try it.
Awesome Bat! Jack parent
Pros: My 8yr old son hit 4 homers at his first tournament using this bat. Proud dad!! Loud pop!! Confidence builder! Teamate has one and got himself a homer also. You get what you pay for.
Cons: May need ear plugs at indoor batting cage.
boi GFUYFT player
Pros: NONE
Cons: dents easily. no pop at all. DO NOT BUY
Great Bat... Bear Graves player
Pros: I play 7u AA comp and this bat has worked very well. It has good balance with a comfortable grip. The Hex 6 has awesome pop! I hit the ball hard and still no dents.
Cons: None.
Amazing Bat Clinton David Phillips player
Pros: Everything.
Cons: Pop runs out slowly.....but takes a while
Best Bat I've seen Josh P coach
Pros: I coach a 10u team, and help out with a 12u team. Both groups have had amazing success with this bat. I have never left a bat review before, but this has been absolutely incredible. The pop and the durability have been terrific. We are careful with the bat - don't let it get too cold. And it's held up great so far, about 15 games into the season.
Cons: None so far, through 15 games.
Solid all around bat jp parent
Pros: good balance, feel, grip is nice. son enjoys over easton S3
Cons: handle base is plastic. not sure how long that will last with an agressive 9 yr old
great bat mike coach
Pros: my 7 year olds loves this bat. very durable and tons of pop. have 4 on the team now
Cons: none
Pretty Impressed - 9u Eddie coach
Pros: My son plays 9u ball and this is his first 2 3/4 bat. I purposely made him learn to swing on a 2 1/4 so he was not relying on a big sweet spot. When he used this for the first time with BP the ball jumped off the bat. The whole team, including myself was pretty amazed! Highly Recommended. We will see about durability. My son is not a hard swinger, but has very sound mechanics. (Side note: this bat has so much pop I was pitching from the mount to him and he hit a liner right back at me. I had no time to react and the ball hit my wrist. I was impressed with the hit, mad I got hammered by a ball. I hope that this doesn't happen in a game and he hits a pitcher....)
Cons: None so far.
This bat is 5 stars B. parent
Pros: Replaced a Combat with my older son (11U major) bat with this one. It's dynamite. I'm not sure I believe the research that says composite has more pop. This bat has such good sound the feedback is awesome.
Cons: Haven't found one.
AWESOME BAT Adam parent
Pros: ton of pop, good balanced swing, awesome sound, bought the 29/19 for my 9u son, went deep for his first time last weekend
Cons: nothing
Cool Wes parent
Pros: Awesome sound when making contact and flys off the bat.
Cons: Bat has a little vibration.
Pleased Pleased Parent parent
Pros: My son loves the pop off of this bat. The pop and sound is noticeable. The barrel size for this bat is great. A very large sweet spot. I have not heard of one complaint from my son regarding vibration.
Cons: It takes a while to get used to the balance of the bat coming from a Demarini CF7. The tape used for the grip is a bit too thick but this is a user preference.
Great bat Crew player
Pros: This is the best bat ever used
Cons: Tons of pop

Pros: Good pop, big sweet spot, it has lasted my team, 1 coach pitch, and 2 pee wee seasons.
Cons: 0
Skittle bat kills it JL Parent
Pros: It doesn't look it in pictures but it does have a massive barrel. You won't be mistaken when solid contact is made, this bat unleashes a ridiculously loud ping sound. My son had previously had a Little League approved 2 1/4" barrel version of this bat and loved it. When he switched to travel, he wanted the same bat in a larger barrel. This bat is well balanced and easy to swing. I've never seen a Marucci bat dent...is that even a thing?
Cons: Too loud? Grip does not seem to last long and will need to be replaced.
