Is the Freak Black better than the Ultra II Maxload? Larry
Performance wise one bat is not better than the other. The big advantage to the 2016 Miken Freak Black SSUSA Slow Pitch Softball Bat (FRKBKS) is the barrel length. The Freak Black has a massive 14.5" barrel length compared to a 13.5" barrel length on the Ultra 2. The longer barrel provides the Freak with a bigger sweet spot.

Which is proven to have more distance, the Miken Freak Black SSUSA or the Miken Ultra II Big Cat? car
The 2016 Miken Freak Black SSUSA Slow Pitch Softball Bat (FRKBKS) and 2015 Miken Ultra II Big Cat Mike Macenko Endload SSUSA Slow Pitch Softball Bat (MMULT2 Senior) are both going to have a half ounce end load and will both be very high performing. About the Brand

During the past few years, serious softball players have looked to Miken Sports for bats that provide the highest levels of performance and durability. Our relentless focus on both technology and the demands of players has made Miken the most demanded line of softball bats today.

Although composites are the latest trend in softball bats, the technology has been the core of Miken's success since the company's inception. Miken pioneered the modern high-performance composite softball bat in 1998 and has pushed the limits with every model since. No other bat company has driven innovation as hard, and the results are indisputable. Look around. If a player is serious about softball, they are most likely swinging a Miken bat.

The success of Miken Sports has been driven by two forces - innovation and a passion for delivering what players demand. The results are obvious. Players have decided that composites are the future for bats, and no one does composite like Miken.
