ASA miken psycho BombDropper player

Pros: This bat out of the wrapper was hitting solid line drives. I only have about 75 swings on it and can feel it opening up more and more. The graphics are pretty sweet and the ball marks haven't taken away from how awesome it looks.

Cons: I had ordered a 26 oz thinking it would feel as light as my 26 oz USSSA mike psycho but it feels a little heavier. Not a big deal though.

great bat mt. top bomber player

Pros: i just got the bat on a game day and took it out without any swings and hit 2 330 foot line drives. has a smooth end loaded swing. best end load asa i have swung.

Cons: cant keep the ball from going over the fence.

Is the same bat as 2015 model? Darkrum

The 2016 Miken Psycho Maxload ASA Slow Pitch Softball Bat (SYCHMA) is a "Maxload" bat which means that the end load is a .5 oz. The 2015 version was the 2015 Miken Psycho SuperMax ASA Slow Pitch Softball Bat (SPSYMA) which was a "SuperMax" bat which means that it had a 1 oz. end load.

Would this be a good bat if you were using a .44 core ball? Brewzer

The 2016 Miken Psycho Maxload ASA Slow Pitch Softball Bat (SYCHMA) is made to hit those softer .52 core balls. If you play with the .44 core balls, it will hit them very well. It's just that down the line, the bat may not hold up as long as hitting the .52 core balls. The .44 core balls are harder, and do more damage.

I am looking to replace my old ASA Freak98. I am just checking to see if the Freak98 also had a .5 Oz end load as well. BPark

I am unable to find the exact end load that is on the Freak 98. I do know that it was slightly end loaded so my guess would be that it does have the same 0.5 oz. end load as the 2016 Miken Psycho Maxload ASA Slow Pitch Softball Bat (SYCHMA).
