Pros: My son is a big 10 yr old at 5'3" and 150 lbs. He got the bat on a Friday, practiced with it before his first tournament the next day and almost took the head off of the coach. His first two at bats he hit the fence dead center field on the fly. His next at bat the coach of the other team put the backs of the kids in the outfield on the fence and the infield was moved to the outfield grass. He then one hopped a line drive over the fence. He batted 1.000 for that tournament. He loves the bat. I was cautious about buying the bat but with the 30 day guarantee I figured I had nothing to lose. Players from other travel teams have now bought this bat after seeing my son's performance with it.
Cons: None at this time.
Pros: I bought the 2015 on closeout as a practice bat and loved it so much I had to get the 2016 Generation for my boy. These bats rock! Don't drink the Kool-Aid of the bigger bat companies and think you need to spend the money on an Easton, Louisville or Demarini. I've owned them all and this bat outperforms them all.
Cons: Nothing
Pros: The ball rockets off the bat. I have 14 players on my 13-15 year old Babe Ruth roster and they loved it. 13 of the 14 players used it for 3 weeks straight.
Cons: Everyone LOVED it. Spent about $185 on it and it really only lasted about 3 weeks. Keep in mind 13 of my 14 players used it for just about every at bat and for the majority of batting practice. I wonder hour many thousands of baseballs that thing hit. It started to develop some flat spots and dents in the 3rd week and also lost some pop. BUT if you as an individual buy it and don't let your teammates use it, it is a great bat.
Pros: good pop but if your child has big boy power i would stay away from this bat. about to find out how good Mizunos customer service really is fir warranty.
Cons: wanted alloy for colder weather games. 13 y/o 172 lb. bought 32"24oz. used approx 35 days. end cap broke and noticed additional dent in sweet spot. In fairness i will buy a drop -5 next time because he can swing a bigger bat.
