Description
The Easton MAKO BEAST is the newest version of one of the most popular baseball bats in the industry and it now has the biggest and most powerful composite barrel that Easton has ever made. By extending and combining the game's longest two-piece composite barrel with the game's fastest swing speed, this bat is an absolute BEAST that offers the lowest swing weight index out of the entire Easton lineup. A low swing weight index results in an evenly balanced model that delivers power through fast swing speeds. Easton's redesigned TCT Thermo Composite technology now provides an extended speed barrel design. So, the BEAST's barrel is longer than ever for more plate coverage and a huge sweet spot. This extended barrel is connected to an ultra-thin 29/32 inch composite handle by the patented two-piece ConneXion technology that maximizes energy transfer while eliminating sting for optimized feel and comfort. Adding to the comfort is the fact that each MAKO BEAST comes wrapped with the formidable HYPERSKIN grip. Easton: Unleash The Beast!
This Easton MAKO BEAST Youth Baseball Bat: YB17MK11 features a -11 length to weight ratio, a 2 1/4 inch barrel diameter, and is approved for play in Little League, Babe Ruth, Dixie Youth, Pony, AABC, and USSSA. The Easton MAKO series was the number one bat at the '15 Little League Baseball World Series for a reason. Don't miss out and make sure to get your own MAKO BEAST today with free shipping!

Pros: Good bat...nice pop
Cons: We have a young power hitter who has broken two within 1 year...the Torq vibrates too much and takes away from the pop. We are buying a one piece bat due to them breaking all the time.

Outgrew old bat Don S parent
Pros: 8 year old grandson is in that period where he outgrows things fast so this a great bat for the price. He started hitting with it right away.
Cons: Haven't found any cons and he'll probably outgrow it before he finds any.
Great bat Overall X6-88 other
Pros: The bat has tons of pop, and can easily support fast swings for smaller people. I don't understand the reviews in which people say their bat breaks in a week or two though since the only thing mine has on it is the paint of the ball. It is perfectly fine.
Cons: None, but I purchased this bat about a month and a half ago and see that it has raise in price from $49.99 to $79.99
Great deal George other
Pros: A lot of bat for the sale price. Works well for my grandson on a 10u team. Small barrel lets him swing a longer bat faster than with a big barrel. This is his bat for the hard throwers, bigger barrel of same length for the slower pitchers.
Cons: none so far.
a great buy now jay williams parent
Pros: pop right out of the wrapper! my 10 yr old crushed the ball in select and league. he got more bat speed with the 2 1/4 barrel.
