Description
This Marucci CAT 7 BBCOR Baseball Bat: MCBC7 is similar to that of the CAT 5 and CAT 6, only double the power! You are really going to scare some people if you come to the plate with this bat. Marucci has done a fantastic job of upping the ante from year to year and improving on an already masterful design. One of the main differences from last years CAT 6 to this CAT 7 is the new and improved AZ4X Alloy that dramatically improves durability and strength. Additionally, the optimized barrel design is more responsive and offers a sweet spot that is twice as large in comparison to the CAT 6. Through Marucci's engineer's extensive research and consultation with their player advisory board made up of big leaguers, they determined that one of the most common complaints among amateur baseball players is vibration in the hands. The brand-new AV2 Knob, also known as the second generation anti-vibration knob, offers a much better feel and remarkably less vibrational feedback in players' hands. Furthermore, the proven ring-free barrel technology continues to produce unmatched performance with absolutely no 'dead' spots. The combination of these new features results in a traditional, one-piece, all alloy, best balanced, most forgiving, sweetest feeling, and hardest hitting bat available.
The Marucci CAT 7 BBCOR Baseball Bat: MCBC7 features a -3 length to weight ratio, a 2 5/8 inch barrel diameter, and the BBCOR certification which makes it legal for play at the high school and collegiate level. Also, Marucci is backing this monster of a bat with a full twelve (12) month manufacturer's warranty. Marucci: Honor The Game! Be the talk of the town and make sure to get your own CAT 7 today with fast, free shipping.

New Cat 7 is Finally Here!! Chris Angel player
Pros: Great look, and great overall feel! Ball comes off the bat by far better than any other BBCOR bat I've used!! Very balanced and is very comfortable to swing, highly recommended buying this bat!
Cons: None!! Great bat!!
wow Jackson Russell player
Pros: unreal pop. this bat has a much bigger barrel than the Cat 6 so if you happen to "jam" yourself a little you'll still get the barrel on the ball and this ball will fly. You'll love it
Cons: it feels a little heavier than a Cat6 but its still balanced. its a slight difference but you'll get used to it and its not a bad thing
Exceeds expectations Brennan player
Pros: This bat has a massive sweet spot and is very balanced which gives you swing speed and control. I have swung the cat 5,6 and 7 all throughout high school and travel ball and put a beating on all of them. The durability and pop in these bats is like no other. As a competitive player I have swung every bat in the book and can't seem to find anything better than the Marucci Cat series. If you're looking for a bat that is smooth, balanced and produces the pop and power you need, look no more. The Marucci Cat7 will not be beat.
Cons: The grip is slick until you use it for a few games
Gets even better for same price Ed Hernandez parent
Pros: First of all this is the 4th Marucci Bat my son has used. He used the cat Cat 5 squared, Cat 6 at -5, Cat 6 at -3 and Finally we got our hands on the Cat 7 and he didn't skip a beat. We've tried along the way a couple of composite bats, but He always comes back to the Cat7. The sweet long barrel just adds to the nice level swing he loves from the "Cats". You can see the balance and pop on plenty of his YouTube videos on Ed Hernandez channel. There are 5 of these now on our team. One other great thing is that they are easy to resale with plenty of pop for months in cool, hot or cold temperatures. Great all season!!!
Cons: None what so ever.
Greatest bat I have ever owned Chandler Scruggs player
Pros: I have the standard CAT7 and it is truly the best bat I have ever owned. First of all, it is a gogreous bat while still sticking to the traditional CAT series format. Secondly, the overall feel of the CAT7 is amazing and just feels right. Marucci really hit the nail on the head with the new CAT7.
Cons: My only complaint about this bat is that when you hit the ball, it makes a loud and high-pitched pinging noise. But, it is easy to get past.
PERFECT zachary lawson player
Pros: this bat as alot of pop more. the grip is so perfect i love it.
Cons: none
Best brand I've ever used Tristan player
Pros: Lots of pop, just the right balance, perfect when you might wood later on in the season because all of their bats are modeled after wood bats.
Cons: Everyone on my team wants to use it :)
Best bat I own Mike B player
Pros: This bat has a ton of pop. I own the cat 6 and thought marucci could never make a better bat. They proved me wrong. The cat 7 is unbelievable. It has a ton of pop a long with a huge sweet spot. It's so balanced and smooth. I was impressed with the bat the second I picked it up, And I was sold on it after my first swing. When you square a ball up perfectly it sounds beautiful. I would definitely recommend this bat to anyone in the market looking to hit dingers!
Cons: The only con I can think of is that marucci is going to have a tough time making a better bat than the cat 7!
Cat 7 is Fantastic! Michael V player
Pros: This bat has some insane pop I have been using it for a little over two weeks and it is just fantastic, this bat highly outclasses many other BBCOR bats including the MAKO and CF8. The huge sweet spot helps make it to where anytime you hit the ball it will fly, if you had the cat 6 or are new to the CAT series and want a cheap bat that has some serious pop and no vibration this bat is a perfect for you!
Cons: The grip is slippery but pine tar/batting gloves fix the problem with ease.
Cat 7 Tyler H. player
Pros: The Cat 7 is the overall best bat I have owned. It has tremendous pop, an extremely balanced feel, and sounds great when you hit it. Not to mention that the grip is the best in the game, hands down. Even when you don't barrel the ball up or "just miss" the ball still seems to jump off the bat better than others. The Cat 7 is a great bat and I would highly recommend it over any others, especially if you like the feel of a one piece aluminum.
Cons: Nothing
Best Bat South baseball player
Pros: Large barrel and sweet spot. Looks and sounds great. The anti-shock knob works really well.
Cons: Grip is slippery after taking a lot of swings in the cages.
so amazing Frankie player
Pros: this bat looks so nice and pretty and sounds absolutely amzing when you hit it right. zero vibration. best bbcor bat out there. Also is so light.
Cons: nothing except the grip is really grippy until you start sweating then its super slippery. if you dont where batting gloves then start wearing them or use pine tar
unbelivable Frankie player
Pros: Wow! Just wow! This bat has a humongous barrel and zero vibration. And i mean zero vibration. I got jammed really bad and didn't feel a thing and still hit it hard. Also, this bat is super light. The -3 version feels like a -5. This is the best bbcor bat ever!
Cons: Grip is amazing until you start sweating. Once you start to sweat the grip feels like soap all over it but batting gloves or pine tar will do the trick.
AWESOME kyle renn player
Pros: I love my parents for getting me this bat it has tons of pop, has great grip, no sting at all, and also looks great, the cat 7 is very well balanced and feels great in the hands. The ball comes off this bat like a rocket and you feel nothing when the ball hits the sweet spot. Best bat i've used to this day!!!!
Cons: nothing
nice bat! Mr. DBACK coach
Pros: the balance, pop, and even the grip is perfect on this bat. Nice size barrel but not oversized, reminds me of a throw back style from the past. It also has A little more ping than the 6 offers if you're in to that. Also incredible graphics and finish.
Cons: handle just a little larger than most bats.
Great bat Brody Hanna player
Pros: I used it straight out of the box for a baseball camp and it was great, feels good, no vibration, and amazing pop.
Cons: Nothing

Cons: no type of pop on the barrel
Best bat out there Mr. Baseball player
Pros: This is by far the best bbcor bat that i have ever used. it has tons of pop and is extremely balanced and it also look pretty sick to top it off. The third swing i ever took with this bat was a bp homerun that traveled about 360.
Cons: nons

Cons: No cons
best bb core bat you can buy. baseball king player
Pros: the pop on this bat is Amazing, best i have ever used! the vibration on thr bat is also best i have ever used! if i hit on the inside or end it dont hurt at all. the wait distrubution is Amazing, it feels really light but at the same time has enough weight on the barrel / end of the bat that you need. the bat last very long, ( still using it of corse. ) it gets no scratches on it like Eastons will. i know some say the grip nesds batting gloves or it gets slippy when your hands get swetty, i hace not experianced that. i like the grip that comes with it better than lizard skin. nothing against lizard skin, i really like lizard skin grip tape but this is better. Don't get a Easton, or a Demarini, or a Louisville slugger, or anything else! get a Marruci cat 7!!!! if i had to describe this bag in one word it would be AMAZING.
Cons: absolutly nothing
Amazing bat Jeremy Laureano player
Pros: I have been using this bat in the cages and wow it is one monster. This bat has a all new feel to it with a more level swing and intense bat speed through the zone. I have used Mako's for the past 2 years but i decided to go outside the box and try this new Cat 7 and it was a great change it is just as strong and well built as any Mako and even from a change from composite to all alloy the bat still performs as well as any other composite bat. Overall great all round bat.
Cons: Vibration on the handle but that is normal for any alloy bat bat especially one piece. Grip is ok but might wear down after a while.
Game Changer BrewGenes parent
Pros: Great Balance, My 6'1", 160# son stepped up from a 32/29 hybrid to this one in a 33/30 configuration and says they feel the same, despite the extra weight. They may feel the same, but the results are night and day. He was crushing the Cat7. When I started hitting outfield flies to him, I didn't need nearly the effort and sent a couple to the fence by mistake. The handle has a perfect taper to the knob.
Cons: Can emit a very loud ping when you crush a ball.
Best Bat on the Market Anthony Conant player
Pros: Great pop. Very balance bat. Feels lighter than it actually is.
Cons: the only negative is everybody on my team wants to swing my Cat7!!!
copy Goat player
Pros: copy of cat 6 pretty much nothing different.
Cons: cost more than the cat 6 but its the same bat.
Coach Gene Bumgardner coach

Amazing Bat!! Bobby Jones player
Pros: This bat is so balanced and has absolutely no stinging, good bat for the price
Cons: None what so ever.
Very impressed Happy dad parent
Pros: In the 12 years my son has played, I have never seen the ball come off the bat like this. It definitely decreases the fielders range. It does seem to have a huge sweet spot. He has cleared the fence a few times in BP. Can't wait for the games to start.
Cons: My son doesn't wear gloves and the grip seems to get slick. We replaced it with a lizard skin.
reqlly good bat all-round Adam dimas player
Pros: The bat feels so good in your hand it feels like it belongs, the pop of the bat is good to if you get it right at the barrel the ball just flys
Cons: None

Amazing Bat Ben O'Neil player
Pros: I am 13 years old and transitioning from a -5 to a bbcor bat. This bat has no sting, a great grip (pretty fat, which I like and very comfortable) has THE best pop you're going to get out of a bbcor and is THE loudest bbcor bat on the market(which I also love) Buy this bat, you will hit absolute bombs with it just like I did, and am still doing
Cons: Unless you don't like hitting good, buy this bat. ZER0 cons whatsoever

Great bat Anonymous player
Pros: This bat has a huge sweet spot. This bat can send the ball. over the fence. It makes a great ping sound. Personally it is a good idea to put lizard skin on all bats. I put it on this bat instead of the regular grip. You cannot feel the vibration.
Cons: Grip is a little bit slick but has great padding still.

Cons: try not to hit off the hands
Marucci figured something out!! Coach Mike parent
Pros: Not quite sure what Marucci has figured out that the other brands haven't but they keep getting better. My son has played travel ball since he was 8. He's now 15 and moved into highschool and the BBcore bat. Throught the years he's tried many different brands and always seems to come back to the Marucci Cat series bat. After spending almost double the price on another BBcore he went back to the Marucci and finished the year out with it. He watches the internet daily and cannot wait until the Cat 8 comes out so he can get it in the cage. Thank you Marucci for making such a quality bat at a fair price.
Cons: They didn't make these when i played ball.
Bat did not last me more than a year. Julien Umanzor player
Pros: Great pop once purchased.
Cons: after lots of reps bat will quickly lost pop and it's ping sound.
Awesome bat! CG coach
Pros: Highly recommend this bat. It was very durable through a long season. The 33s are very evenly weighted while the 34s are a little barrel heavy. Well designed and have a ton of pop! Can't go wrong with this bat. Very popular among our players as well as our league.
Cons: Grip wore out quickly but only because it is a popular bat among the players.

Best bat on the market for the price!! Brayden Gunk player
Pros: Well, where to start. For summer ball, my parents bought me the easton z core speed. I thought it was a good bat until the bottom knob broke. Then for my birthday I asked for a new bat and batting gloves. I looked everywhere for a great bat. Then I settled for the Cat 7. Once I got it I was so happy. The bat looked cool and the grip was insane! I hope this bat stays for my next few seasons.
Cons: the grip wares out fast.
High School Baseball-Can't beat it TWolf parent
Pros: Balance, Pop, Quality, Value. This is a quality bat that you can't beat if you are searching for a balanced bat for your high school player. I see all the $500 bats parents are buying and shake my head and think, "spend the other $250 on your kids." From a former HS Baseball coach, it is the indian and not the arrow!

Cons: Can't use it in any tournament wont pass. We are in our All Star Regional Tournament and both the CAT 7s and the Marucci one failed. The other team had a CAT 6 they just took out of the wrapper that did not pass.
Awesome Pop Anonymous player
Pros: The Ball Comes of this bat great. I know that BBCOR is supposed to make bats be the equivalent to wood, but i feel no resemblance to a wood bat at all. When I swing this bat, It doesn't even feel like I'm hitting a baseball, much less a foam ball. Hottest BBCOR Bat I have ever swung.
Cons: The Grip can become slippery when cold or wet. Very thick grip.
terrible Josh Freiling Player
Pros: The bat comes with a nice grip and the knob really stops vibration
Cons: I bought this bat reading all of the reviews and I thought that it would be great. The bat was okay off the start but it started having trouble. The bat started to dent and even before it dented it started feeling dead. Now I am having trouble with the warranty. Do not waste your time and money on this bat.
