Description
This Marucci CAT 7 Junior Big Barrel Baseball Bat is similar to that of the CAT 5 and CAT 6, only double the power! You are really going to scare some people if you come to the plate with this bat. Marucci has done a fantastic job of upping the ante from year to year and improving on an already masterful design. One of the main differences from last years CAT 6 to this CAT 7 is the new and improved AZ4X Alloy that dramatically improves durability and strength. Additionally, the optimized barrel design is more responsive and offers a sweet spot that is twice as large in comparison to the CAT 6. Through Marucci's engineer's extensive research and consultation with their player advisory board made up of big leaguers, they determined that one of the most common complaints among amateur baseball players is vibration in the hands. The brand-new AV2 Knob, also known as the second generation anti-vibration knob, offers a much better feel and remarkably less vibrational feedback in players' hands. Furthermore, the proven ring-free barrel technology continues to produce unmatched performance with absolutely no 'dead' spots. The combination of these new features results in a traditional, one-piece, all alloy, best balanced, most forgiving, sweetest feeling, and hardest hitting bat available.
The Marucci CAT 7 Junior Big Barrel Baseball Bat: MJBBC7 features a -10 length to weight ratio, a 2 3/4 inch barrel diameter, and the USSSA 1.15 BPF certification. Also, Marucci is backing this monster of a bat with a full twelve (12) month manufacturer's warranty. Marucci: Honor The Game! Be the talk of the town and make sure to get your own CAT 7 today with fast, free shipping.

Awesome bat!!! Baseball Dad parent
Pros: Great balance as are Marucci bats in general ( being used by my advanced but tiny 5 1/2 year old that plays on 7u team and he swings it just fine) Great pop Very little vibration
Cons: None so far
cat 7 baseball mama parent
Pros: really sends the ball far when hit. 7 year old using it and is loving it.
Cons: nothing so far
Cat 7 Baseball Coach coach
Pros: Has the pop that the Cat 5 had but the durability of the Cat 6.
Cons: -
Great Bat and Great Service from Justbats.com Unhitchthewagon player
Pros: This bat is very balanced compared to many on the market thus making it swing lighter as well. It's just an ounce over it's stated weight(many other brands are close to 2oz heavier than stated. The last 26" drop 10 bat we picked up weighs almost 18 oz.) My 6 year old son playing coach pitch loves the bat. Looks Great, Feels Great & Performs Great. Ball seems to really launch on solid hits. One thing I noticed when I had another 26" bat standing next to it is although they are the same overall length, the knob on this Cat7 is so wide, you actually lose about a half inch of barrel length. Our first Cat7 Junior dented the first weekend we used it and Justbats.com just sent me a return authorization and swapped it out instead of making me contact Marucci. For that I give Justbats.com 5 Stars as well!! The replacement bat has not dented and has been used by some of the stronger kids on the team-so that's a good sign that maybe we just got a defective unit the first time.
Cons: Had to ding the durability simply because the first one dented in two places. So far the replacement is just fine after several weekends of play.
Great pop, very durable bat! Coach B coach
Pros: The ball flys off the bat. The bat has withstood many rounds of BP (4.5 months) and 25 games of machine pitch. After the other kids saw my son hitting shots with this bat, they all started using it. Each kid who used it improved their distance and pop greatly. The bat is used for machine BP and games. It is very durable with no cracks or dents. The paint is scraped due to so much use but no damage. The grip is thick and soft makes me wish I could use it. The barrel is huge. The aluminum bat makes a high pitch pinging sound that everyone loves. I machine pitch to kids with Eastons, Combats and a TPX... I believe this bat is more solid. When we played in colder weather, the temperature did not effect the bat performance unlike the composite bats. I do recommend kids with small, sensitive hands to get the thick padded batting gloves. But most decent swinging kids will love the pop.
Cons: Love the bat.
Slammer BC parent
Pros: This bat is just what we were looking for. It's the right size for my 7 year old. It sends the ball flying in the outfield, has a great sweet spot. Thanks to the representative for recommending this bat.
Cons: The only negative remarks is why did I wait so long to find this bat.
Great bat Geno parent
Pros: Bat has great pop! My 6 year old has improved his hitting ever since I glt him this bat. Nice pop and not to heavy of a bat. i strongly recommend this bat.
Cons: None so far.
Cat 7 Tate player
Pros: Best bat ever, Amazing
Cons:
CAT 7 NOT worth the money Mark_GA parent
Pros: Great grip and low vibration
Cons: extremely thin wall and therefore seems to result in lessor ball pop and reduced ball carry for the money. I tested the Easton Mako Beast composite, CAT 7 and Easton S3. Beast and CAT 7 seemed to be equal. Ball seemed to carry the same distance as the CAT 7 but CAT 7 seemed to have more velocity and therefore rolled farther. S3 for $99 outperformed them both. Wasted my $$ on the more expensive highly marketed bats and should have just stuck with the S3
Big hits Bryan parent
Pros: My 8U baseball player loves it and is hitting very well with this bat. Some of his teamates are also using and it seems to be working well for them also.
Cons: None yet and hopefully there won't be any cons.
The best. by far. David R parent
Pros: Amazing pop. Immediately added distance to my son's batting practice. even better once it was broken in.
Cons: Anyone who thinks there is a better bat, has never seen this one.
Cat 7 Happy Customer coach
Pros: My 6 year old swings this bat and loves it. Definitely has a good sweet spot, and a lot of pop. Hasn't complained at all about his hands stinging like his last bat.
Cons: No complaints so far.
Cat 7 Thomas parent
Pros: No vibration
Cons: Not hot as cat 6
great bat travel ball dad parent
Pros: has good pop, drives ball hard, my 7 yr old uses it for travel ball and is loving it
Cons: none so far
Bat for 5 Year Old - Machine Pitch Justin Thompson parent
Pros: So far, the kid is swinging it great. We have only hit off the sling machine a hand full of times. It's an ounce heavier than his old bat, but he's getting used to it now. When he hits the sweet spot, the ball FLIES off the bat. Not ONE time has the bat vibrated his hands, so that's a huge plus for me.
Cons: No cons - I should have gotten an ounce lighter, but that's not the bat's fault!
Cat 7 Junior Big Barrel Jeremy a parent
Pros: Great balance and pop for my 7yr old! Has about 50 hits on it and he loves this bat. Looking forward to the Cat 8!
Cons: It went on sale after i bought! lol
Money well spent Brett D coach
Pros: Our son was very proud when he first saw this bat. It was his first big barrel bat and we could see an immediate difference with contact made compared to the small barrel tball bat he had been using. The ball seems to jump off of the bat well. You can not go wrong for the money on this model.
Cons: No issues
