The A-Bat Maple is approved for play in the ASA slowpitch leagues. It is written on the barrel that it is approved, but doesn't feature the ASA stamp. This might be a stupid question, but although the bat states ASA approved, is there a stamp saying that too. I ask only due to the fact that the umpires in my area look for that before the compression test. If not, do you know if any of the wooden bats do have the ASA stamp. Thank you in advance for your help.
I've heard from multiple sources that ASA is starting to crack down on wood bats and I'm not quite sure what their deal is. If you need a wood bat with an ASA stamp, take a look at the Brett Bros Thunder Bats or BamBooBat's Wood Softball Bats.
Does this bat come in anything other than a 34 inch?
It does come in a 33/27, however the demand for that size is not large enough for us to maintain the bat in stock. You may find it in the 33in on other bat sites, even checking with A-Bat themselves.
