Description

The new Anderson Ignite senior league bat features a complete redesign of Anderson's popular single wall alloy technology. The Ignite is designed to maximize Anderson's all-metal alloy, with a shape that optimizes the player's swing. This new alloy has a greater yield value and added strength that allows a lighter, more responsive, and larger Effective Hitting Area (EHA). Reducing the weight in the EHA, while maintaining the strength necessary to withstand impact, allows for greater design versatility including a significantly reduced Moment of Inertia (MOI). Optimizing the MOI makes it possible for players to swing the bat faster, with less effort. The Ignite is topped off with a TrueFlex End Cap that is designed to increase barrel strength and aid in vibration managment. Also helping eliminate annoying vibrations is the TaperFlex Contour which uses a proprietary combination of design mapping and wall-thickness tuning to prevent energy from escaping the barrel. Furthermore, an SG-I Sport Grip absorbs any stray shockwaves that might make it down to the ultra-thin whip handle. All of this technology is used to efficiently manage energy transfer and produce the most explosive hits for senior league players! Anderson: Manufactured With Pride in the U.S.A.! The Ignite features the USSSA 1.15 BPF stamp. It is backed by a Full Twelve (12) Month Manufacturer's Warranty. Free Shipping!

Questions and Answers

Have a question about the Anderson Ignite Senior League Baseball Bat: IXR10? Ask our team of experts and they will respond within 24 hours.

is this a good bat for a twelve year old who plays usssa and he is 5 ft exact sluuuggerr
There is going to be a lot of factors that go into what bat is going to be best for you. This is going to be a great link that we have that helps pick out the perfect bat for someone; http://www.justbats.com/bat-coach/
Todd
does this bat have good pop scoop
Yes this bat will have great POP. The bat is made of a single wall alloy with a very large sweet spot. I would recommend this bat for anyone looking to add some power to their game.
Steve
Would you recommmend this bat or the Miken RZR: SLRZ10 Senior League. My son is 12 and on the smaller side, good contact hitter but seems to have trouble generating much power with the composite bats so was thinking about trying Aluminum. Your thoughts? Mike1810
Out of both of these bats, I would recommend the Ignite. The Ignite is going to have better pop and better durability. Composite bats are going to need to be broken in and once they are broken in most will be hotter then an aluminum bat. Aluminum bats are ready to use right out of the box.
Todd
Is this an end loaded bat or more balanced like the Combat? Brian
This bat will be a little slightly end loaded than most of the COMBATs, but it will still be a balanced bat.
Robb
Is this bat the best USSSA -10 bat? If not, what one would you recommend? Sean
The Anderson Ignite is one of the best alloy bats. Anderson's top of the line alloy is used in all of their bats for high performance and durability.
Kara
My 10 year old son is a contact hitter. He needs a bat he can get around quickly. Would the Ignite be a good bat for him? Bomber91
The Anderson Ignite (IXR10) features the Enhanced Hitting Area (EHA) technology that allows it to have a lower moment of inertia (MOI). With a lower MOI, a player is able to pick up faster swing speeds, which would be a benefit to your son. It would be a great option.

Are there actually two different Ignite bats in this family? That is, an XR10 and an IXR10? Because I see the XR10 Ignite for sale at other sites for $200.00 and here it's only $50.00. I just wanted to make sure it's the same bat. Shane
The Anderson Ignite (IXR10) and the Anderson XR10 are the same bats. Our original price was $199.99, but the model has been discontinued and marked down.
Kara
Is this bat Little League approved? DAG
The Anderson Ignite (IXR10) is approved for Intermediate and Juniors Division of Little League.

About the Brand

A High-Tech Engineer, a Sales Manager for a chemical company, and a Professional Yacht Racer with a background in mechanical engineering are not likely to have much in common. But they did, and still do. You guessed it…SOFTBALL.

Our passion for “Diamond” sports goes back many years, but it was about 10 years ago that we started manufacturing and private labeling our bats for other companies. In 1999, Steven Anderson designed a new multi-wall high-performance bat that featured our patented “Power Arch” technology. After thorough testing, it was ready for the company that we designed it for, but they were going through a transition period and were not ready to move on it.

Here was the bummer, our team was counting on using these bats in a big tournament that was just a month away and we could not put their graphics on the bats until the deal between the two of us was inked.

Steven offered a solution … they are already certified by the governing bodies so why don’t we put our own graphics on them and use them in the tourney. What a great idea and that is exactly what we did.

I was driving to the plant the next morning wearing my championship “T” shirt and had no idea that when I arrived at 6:30 am that the message machine would be filled and the phones would be ringing. The messages and the calls were all basically the same … “How do I get my hands on one of those new Anderson Techwraps”?

That is how it started, and since then we have released the FlexTech, FastTech, RocketTech, TechZilla, Pyrotech, and we are not done.

Let me tell you a little secret……THE BEST IS YET TO COME…GO DEEP, GO VERY VERY DEEP
