Description

The new Anderson Ignite slow pitch bat features a complete redesign of Anderson's popular single wall alloy technology. The Ignite is designed to maximize Anderson's all-metal alloy, with a shape that optimizes the player's swing. This new alloy has a greater yield value and added strength that allows a lighter, more responsive, and larger Effective Hitting Area (EHA). Reducing the weight in the EHA, while maintaining the strength necessary to withstand impact, allows for greater design versatility including a significantly reduced Moment of Inertia (MOI). Optimizing the MOI makes it possible for players to swing the bat faster, with less effort. The Ignite is topped off with a TrueFlex End Cap that is designed to increase barrel strength and aid in vibration managment. Also helping eliminate annoying vibrations is the TaperFlex Contour which uses a proprietary combination of design mapping and wall-thickness tuning to prevent energy from escaping the barrel. Furthermore, an SG-I Sport Grip absorbs any stray shockwaves that might make it down to the ultra-thin whip handle. All of this technology is used to efficiently manage energy transfer and produce the most explosive hits for slow pitch players! Anderson: Manufactured With Pride in the U.S.A.! The Ignite is approved for play in ASA, USSSA, NSA, and ISA. It is backed by a Full Twelve (12) Month Manufacturer's Warranty. Free Shipping!

Pros: Generally speaking the bat was solid out the wrapper and had great pop. Unfortunately...

Cons: after only two months instead of being spherical in nature it almost looks and feels triangular because it has a number of indentations. Not from any caged batting practice but less than a full season of ASA softball. Not good. I have $50 bats I've used for multiple seasons tha t have held up noticeably better.

Pros: Best single wall one piece bat I've ever used. Great balanced feel and a lot of pop once broken in. Large sweet spot and very durable. Entire team used it for 10+ games, still no dents and no pop lost.

Cons: Not much pop out of the wrapper. Took 50-75 swings to break it in.

What is the difference between the anderson ignite and the ksp? ss
The Ignite is going to have more of a balanced swing weight than the KSP, but overall, they're going to perform the same
Ryan
What is the best made one piece single wall alloy bat out there? ss
The Anderson Ignite is one of the top aluminum slow pitch bats there is, along with the Anderson Rocketech
Ryan
Our league will only allow a single wall one piece bat. We all were all using the Nano ASA one piece single wall. Now I see you no longer make thae one piece and we cannot find them any where. What do recommend to take it's place and give us the same performance in a single wall one piece none composite ASA approved bat? Does the Anderson Ignite meet these qualities? Ray
The Ignite ISP is a single wall alloy ASA approved bat that has a balanced feel, good pop and durable barrel. This bat will meet your league requirements.
Kris
Which bat is better? Easton Salvo or Anderson Ignite Rob
The performance of the two bats will be very similar, the Easton Salvo is offered in a few different model, whereas the Anderson Ignite is going to be a one-piece fully aluminum bat.

About the Brand

A High-Tech Engineer, a Sales Manager for a chemical company, and a Professional Yacht Racer with a background in mechanical engineering are not likely to have much in common. But they did, and still do. You guessed it…SOFTBALL.

Our passion for “Diamond” sports goes back many years, but it was about 10 years ago that we started manufacturing and private labeling our bats for other companies. In 1999, Steven Anderson designed a new multi-wall high-performance bat that featured our patented “Power Arch” technology. After thorough testing, it was ready for the company that we designed it for, but they were going through a transition period and were not ready to move on it.

Here was the bummer, our team was counting on using these bats in a big tournament that was just a month away and we could not put their graphics on the bats until the deal between the two of us was inked.

Steven offered a solution … they are already certified by the governing bodies so why don’t we put our own graphics on them and use them in the tourney. What a great idea and that is exactly what we did.

I was driving to the plant the next morning wearing my championship “T” shirt and had no idea that when I arrived at 6:30 am that the message machine would be filled and the phones would be ringing. The messages and the calls were all basically the same … “How do I get my hands on one of those new Anderson Techwraps”?

That is how it started, and since then we have released the FlexTech, FastTech, RocketTech, TechZilla, Pyrotech, and we are not done.

Let me tell you a little secret……THE BEST IS YET TO COME…GO DEEP, GO VERY VERY DEEP
